This Dan guy seriously has no idea what he is talking about. To my fellow Paul supporters: Stop wasting your breath with him. You cannot educate someone who does not want to be educated.
I’m a college student and have done my research. Ron Paul’s actions speak for themselves. What won me over is how in debates Ron Paul keeps to himself until it is his turn. The other candidates hardly ever went out of their way to attack Paul. That should speak about Ron Paul in a nutshell.
I have watched the videos on Romney and Paul through the years. How Romney has flip-flopped multiple times and honestly cannot keep a single thought for more than a few months. Paul has said the same thing for decades…DECADES. How many other politicians can say that?
Consistency is part of what makes a great politician. These arguments are petty and pointless. Dan will not change his mind and neither will the Paul supporters. I suggest you go mess with another site. This site is for Ron Paul supporters, not Romney/Obama.

The Patriot Act works. It has save countless American lives. And if someone is a threat to or country they should be held by the military to keep my family and yours safe. If they are found to be traitors they should be executed
And I don’t rant. I just don’t understand why people think Dr. Paul has a chance to win. Some people here actually think he is winning. Why? He has lost every state. On Tuesday he finished behind Rick Santorun who is not even in the race any longer.
Mitt Romney takes broken businesses and fixes them. That is what he is good at. He will take this government and weed out the dead wood and accentuate what works. He will allow business the comfort to grow again by loosening the restrictions on them by an ever growing government. He will give them incentive to keep business here in this country. Simply put, he will get us back to work.

You and I seem to look at this from opposite sides. Voting no is HARD. If it were easy, Ron Paul would not be the only person doing it. Everyone, liberal and conservative, complains about the weakening of our civil liberties. Then, when Ron Paul defends the constitution, retarded Obama supporters (and some Romney supporters) close your minds to it because ‘the constitution is sooo old and it holds us back.’ It is EASY to bend a little bit and easier still to bend a lot. Supporting the idea that American citizens should be imprisoned indefinitely without charge or trial is NOT a small bend, it’s becoming a soulless puppet. Incorrect. He lost Maine to Romney. He lost Minnesota to Santurom. He will get delegates from Minnesota because Santurom dropped out before the Republicans counted delegates in that state. But, he lost the vote. In order to win you need to get the most votes. Ron Paul has lost every state. Don’t call someone ignorant if you are the one who does not know the facts.
Calling people names is not nice. Just stick to your points and maybe you can sway an opinion. But, calling names will not do so.
Dr. Paul has many loyal supporters. I hope they follow his lead and vote for Mitt Romney in the fall

Ron Paul is the only voice of Individualism, individual freedom, individual liberty, equality and justice. I intend to put Ron Paul into office and make sure that all power centers of society are recaptured and the moral and ethical standards of society are changed from anti-individual to pro-individual. Its a tall task but we must find it within ourselves to meet this challenge and triumph over everything.

I’m largely considering voting for Ron Paul. He has heart, and has demonstrated dedication to the safety of the United States throughout his entire life. I’m azed by his integrity. He would inspire me more as an American than any statistically oriented speech President Obama could make. Best of all, he would shake things up.
If these debates turn out lame between Republican nominee and President Obama, Romney is certainly guaranteed my vote.

Ron Paul does not lose everywhere. He wins almost every state he goes. He has way more delegates than the mainstream news says. He has over half the delegates. He won over 5 states for sure (requirment to get into republic convention.) All the states that FOX or NBC says he lost were actually popularity vote. People think that Ron Paul isn’t in it anymore which is not true. His strategy is highly complex. He gets almost all the delegates. I couldn’t agree more! However, as an informed individual who has actually read the details of many items that Dr. Ron Paul voted on, I would vote the same way – Patriot Act – case in point – better to vote No on a bill because the bill should not be passed then to rubber stamp yes because of a flashy name.
If you were to put a bill on the table to end the Federal Reserve, or to bring our soldiers home, I am convinced that Dr. Paul would vote an enthusiastic “Yes!”

Politicians are too quick to rubber stamp an issue before Congress rather than sort the merits of bill before them…a wise politician I knew growing up told me that you have to vote with your conscience.
I’m glad Ron Paul has a conscience in Congress…otherwise, we would allow a fascist government (like Nazi Germany) authority to rule over the our country of liberty we love so dearly.

“Actually it is really not that complicated. The process runs like this: Primary or caucus in any given state and a vote is taken where voters are able to decide who their “preference” is for the nominee. In the primary that is all show.
The real contest is for delegates. They are selected through a variety of processes depending on the states. In some states, voters cast a ballot for delegates at the polls and in other states delegates apply for the position. Once selected, delegates [go] on to county or district caucuses. Many times that can equate to thousands of delegates in any given state.
Again, depending on the states some delegates will attend Congressional District conferences and At Large delegate conferences. These votes are held at various times after the first primary or caucus and are culminated by the state Republican convention. At the convention slates of delegates are postured and manuvered, it is a chance for delegates to be “elected” or chosen by other delegates in attendance.
At the conclusion of the state Republican convention each state will select their national delegates as well as a group of alternates. It is only after that selection process takes place that we really know how many delegates a candidate has.
Consider in contrast [how] the AP determines delegates: When the primary or caucus is held in any given state, the AP takes the number of delegates allotted to that state and divides the total by the percentage of the vote gained by the candidate in the election. Even though no state convention has been held, the AP projects the number of delegates who will be “required” to vote for a candidate. If [you] have seen Reality Check recently then you know there is precedent for why delegates are not bound.
The way you all are listing delegates is the most “fair” way to do so because you are not guessing and yet you will have a very clear count by the middle to end of June.

As much as I LOVE and support Ron Paul, the reality appears to be that the Rep. party would rather back a double-talking guaranteed looser like Romney than to let Ron Paul become President.

I’m 20 years old, and this year will be my first time voting. Let me add, too, that I consider myself to be very socially liberal. Over the last 2 months, I’ve easily spent 50+ hours reading news articles, watching debates, listening to podcasts, and engaging in political discussions with my friends, and its so BLINDINGLY obvious that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that favors America and the principles it was founded upon. I have no doubt in my mind that once word gets out about President Paul’s recent wins and growing delegate count, this Revolution will gain unprecedented momentum, and will continue to do so all the way up until November 6th. Ron Paul, you are a personal hero of mine, and the George Washington this country so desperately needs right now. To the rest of you, I personally challenge every single person that reads this to do their part in this revolution. Be the difference maker. Be his voice where he is not present. It was US that allowed our country fall into the hands of the corrupt, and so it has to be US that takes it back.

I accidently made it twice- thinking the first one did not go thru. About an hour later – I received an email from one of staff informing me that they believed I made a double donation in error and if I wanted them to refund one of them – they would be more than happy to do so!!! That’s what i’d like to find out as well. If the MSM mentions him at all, they put him below 100 delegates total, but there isn’t a delegate count for him anywhere that I can find. Why the secrecy? His count ranges from below 100 to over 600. What is it? Is it really that complicated?

There is only one way, and that is the Ron Paul Revolution, I just made my own Ron Paul Revolution shirt, and on it I highlighted the facts that Ron Paul plans to End the Fed, Abolish the IRS, Pardon all nonviolent Drug Offenses, Anti War, Limited Government, and within the first 30 minutes, I had people asking to read my shirt. Of course I spun around with a smile on my face, and when they asked about the man with the plan, I gave them the run down. Now I have not only planted the seed in the minds of about 15 people individually, but the word will spread like a natural cure for a disease, because they asked for more information. I am satisfied that I was able to plant the seed, and word of mouth is the next best tool, compared to the internet that has Ron Paul plastered everywhere. I think it is time for all the Mitt Romney Zombies to reconsider their plan B, because the Revolution is here! Can you hear us now?
Besides, the media lap dogs are starting to get the picture, and I was listening to a few talk radio hosts that at the beginning of April were Pro Romney, but now they are highly recommending Ron Paul. That is what the GOP deserves, laugh at us then, but let me ask this… Who is laughing now!!! And we need to be informing the idiots that really think Ron Paul’s supporters are going to be jumping ship when we realize that Ron Paul is unelectable, that they are wrong and ask where they found the audacity to make such a statement. All I am going to say in response to that is like Ron Paul said, the revolution is started, and he is glad he can be a part of it. Its not televised, which is dangerous for all the parties, as they are unaware of how dangerous the Ron Paul revolution really is, and that is fine by me. As long as when the convention rolls around, Dr. Ron Paul has the finally say. Freedom resonates in the hearts of all Americans, and even those that do not “support” him truly do, they just do not know that he is out there! I feel like I’ve been blind through most of my adult life, blithely accepting campaign rhetoric as meaningful. Only dimly was I perturbed by broken campaign promises — “Read my lips!”
I’m sad that things had to get this bad for me to wake up and to start investigating candidates more thoroughly, but boy am I glad I did. It seems the country will not merely “take care of itself.”
Today, I turned 62. The key things on my mind are family and Ron Paul’s campaign. Feels good.
Now, let’s win this thing for all Americans — past, present and future.

Yeah Ruslushy. You definitely made no sense at all, clearly my opinion. What about the ” rich greedy people” that you stated nothing about in your mildly yet quite annoying response to something that you clearly don’t know one thing about.
We all pay our taxes, were not all rich, but we pretty much determine our life bills between wants and necessities. Wouldn’t the ” rich people” save more of their precious money, by the illegal immigrant plan he is currently discussing? I believe so! (another opinion). Some things he is proposing i don’t agree with, like the abortion theory and HUD idea. As of the most part of being on the fence i feel as an American citizen who pays their taxes and follows the laws, i agree with his ideas and ways of life.

Being rewarded for excellent service is good. “Rich” is not inherently good or bad. From the standpoint of ego, “rich” can be judged “good,” but that’s relative “goodness.” And it could arguably be said that ego is the source of all evil. So, in the big scheme of things, ego’s definition of “good” don’t mean squat!
I have no objections to someone having $50 quadrillion, if they gave something of greater value to humanity. But if I had that kind of wealth, I’d be building schools, roads, and other infrastructure for people in need and not bribing congressmen or creating 9/11-like “false flag” operations to get even more wealth and power.
I’d be quite happy to be poor, too, so long as my family has enough to eat and shelter. And so long as I had the freedom to help others.
