It’s Official: Ron Paul Is Running for President!
He Can Win The Republican Nomination And Beat Obama in 2012
From CNN’s Political Ticker:
Who does best against Obama? [Ron] Paul. The congressman from Texas, who also ran as a libertarian candidate for president in 1988 and who is well liked by many in the tea party movement, trails the president by only seven points (52 to 45 percent) in a hypothetical general election showdown. Huckabee trails by eight points, with Romney down 11 points to Obama. The poll indicates the president leading Gingrich by 17 points, Palin by 19, and Trump by 22 points. More…
As early as last year, Ron Paul would have gained 41% of the vote compared to Obama’s 42% – statistical dead heat. Among independents, Paul had an astonishing 47% to 28% edge over the president.
Ron Paul Can Win In 2012! But Will He Actually Run?
YES! On May 13, 2011, Ron Paul officially announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination.

I am really hoping you win, Dr. Paul! I donated $20 a couple weeks back and I’m sorry it isn’t much but it’s all I can spare at the moment. We really need to see a change. Last election I voted Obama into office because his campaign headline was, “Vote for change”, and wow was I kicked in the face. Which I am not saying Obama is not trying of course I can never know so all I can have is faith. I really have faith in Ron Paul. You will never know what it means to me to watch you give speeches and stand up for this potentially great country. I hate the black outs on the media and all the garbage floating around about the “racism” and such. It seems entirely impossible that they will allow you to be elected. Now they are saying that anyone with a Ron Paul sticker or decal or anything of the supporting nature CAN be considered domestic terrorism. I really hope you win. I have everything riding on it.
Thank you for being such a devoted American. Thank you for thinking of us lower/lesser/poorer people. It means so much. And from the bottom of my heart I thank you.

I would like to add that no matter WHO the president is unfortunately I think too many other people pull some of the very important strings. It’s all about money, always has been. If you put together all the typical campaigns conservatives usually run on besides money—anti-abortion, no gay marriages, things of a heart-felt or religious nature– in the end when it comes to votes, votes based on wealthy supporters of candidates, the same underlying factor still dictates the outcome. Money. Unfortunately for us I think the same rings true for the bigger picture of the economic crisis. No matter how passionate or honest the beliefs or promise, they still are all pawns at the mercy of the big economic game.
What I love about Paul is that if you listen, he talks about the things that he will change that the the president himself specifically has the power to change, not so much focused on policy changes that require a consensus of other votes from other politicians. If you really want a change, that’s the way you need to think. I believe Paul is the only candidate that can help stop the bipartisan pissing contest that has continued to go here. Excuse my language, but a horse is still a horse, so to speak.

I would never assume to be anyone who had all of the facts on any matter, but I would certainly say Ron Paul would or should be against SOPA as his entire previous campaign for presidency relied largely upon the internet— the media had always, and continues to, give him very little attention, not to mention that would be “big government”, which he is very against. I constantly find myself waiting for his turn to answer the big questions that are always directed towards Romney or Gingrich and his turn rarely comes unless he butts in. Which I must say, he always does with dignity, in a very polite and classy manner, BUT could be bad for him considering how vicious we already full know politicians are and how hungry the American people are for drama–you need only consider the popularity of all the ridiculous, mind numbing reality shows on T V to know this.
I wish I could speak with Dr. Paul directly as a below average income, ambitious American dreamer and small business owner from the midwest and tell him how to reach out to all of us. Too many Americans fall for the suave and savvy speeches and promises of the good looking, well spoken, younger candidates and we are all quite guilty of being lethargic and apathetic and frankly, content, content with what we are dealt and the lives we live in irregardless of paving our own way or not. That may be all well and good for now but what about our children, and their children, and so on? I’m only 29 years old and have no children yet, still these things concern me, as they should concern each and everyone of us.
We can blame the government all we want for their greed and overspending but as a whole, have we not all done the same thing? Credit cards, mortgage & loan approvals—the media and the public blames the banks and blames the federal reserve and the government and that’s fine–we have been taken advantage of and abused and they should take some level of responsibility. But irregardless of what banks and creditors told us we could spend, we should all take responsibility to know and understand our own personal incomes and what it means to live above our means. My personal opinion is unless it’s a student loan or a home mortgage, you shouldn’t buy it unless you have the cash, period. We should all know and learn responsibilty for ourselves.
With Ron Paul for president we would. Yes, it may be time to pay the piper, but it’s well overdue, not just for our government but for all of us. It’s a reality check we all need that will revive the whole country, and in the SHORTEST amount of time. Do you want to slowly peel the band-aid and pout and lick your wounds or rip it off and forget about it? Perhaps overstating, but nevertheless better than any other plan. Count your blessings, mind the constitution, beware big government unless you seek poverty, and just be thankful you’re not working in some country like Africa in gold mines where all you’re paid is a handful of dirt that may or may not contain some gold-dust to support your family( and yes, this is true).

Many people still think that the government has the best interests of the people at heart and could never do anything sinister enough to the point of taking away our freedom. I was one of those people. I watched the mind-numbing TV shows and other media that made fun of people who spoke out against the truth and, to a degree, I fell for it along with millions of other people. I am embarrassed to say that I voted for people who have begun the process of taking away our freedoms. I voted for who I thought would best serve the nation at the time, but I didn’t see what was happening. It’s important for people to realize that this process is not happening overnight. It’s happening gradually, little by little, so that we don’t even notice. It’s very real and it’s certainly not a joke.
We have differences – that much is clear. I feel that the only way to bring this country back to it’s roots is to become tolerant and vote for someone who will allow individual states (i.e.: the people) to make decisions about the issues on which we disagree. If we continue on this path of intolerance, we will wake up one day with military enforcers – not protectors – patrolling outside in the streets. We will be who they tell us to be because if we don’t, we will be disciplined in whatever way they see fit. It’s already happening – many people are afraid to voice their opinion even though they have a constitutional right to do so. The government changes the rules on a whim because they know we won’t do anything about it. They throw people in jail for speaking out against their injustices and claim that they didn’t have a right to do so – and we believe them.
Ron Paul seems to be the only presidential candidate who claims that he won’t let his personal views get in the way of our constitutional rights – the rights which say that we the people, get to decide what is best for the people – not a single person or a relatively small group of people in power. The other candidates boldly state that they will allow their “personal views” on the issues to take precedence over what the majority of the people in each state want. They say whatever will get them the majority vote from the people in this country who refuse to tolerate differences in opinion. This doesn’t give everyone a chance to have their voice heard – a right that we must preserve before it’s too late. I don’t want my fate determined by someone else. I want to decide. That is true freedom.

There is a reason why the troops donated such a absurd amount of money to Ron. Romney, Gingdick, Santorass, and even Ronney himself don’t know what the troops are going through right now. Every night going to sleep wondering of by the next day their wedded ones might not have a partner, their kids might not have a mom or a dad, their family mssing someone from the photoalbum, these are questions the troops that “defend” this country while not even here are asking. I don’t think Romney is going to bring our soldiers back home. Gingrich or Santorum either. Ron Paul’s military ambitions, are going to save the country a trillion USD wich we can pay to the PRC (People’s Republic of China). the Gold Coin standard I also support. Besides Gingrich, no candidate is a smooth talker. Romney is only leading because of how much money he spends on his hair. I wager that if given enough time, and not being thrown questions in the GOP like its a god foresaken gameshow, then Ron would make a very convincing point. Fox News, NBC, CNN, etc, quit ignoring this guy, because the R3volution is coming.

Ron Paul is the only politician that sticks to the guidelines set up by our forefathers in the US Constitution. All these other guys, including our president, violate the constitution on a daily basis, take away our civil rights, and run this great country into the hole for their own greed. Ron Paul is the only one who understands reality within the world of politics and will see to it that the USA becomes the world leader it once was.

I lived for 10 years in Czech Republic and traveled allot through Europe, and I can confidently say that most of the common people are anti american. They do not respect the U.S. government but they do fear them (respect is acceptance, not fear). My pro-american father always told me that they do not like america because they are jealous. The truth is…no one likes any country that tells them how to live. I couldn’t believe what J. McCain said that it is because of Americas isolationism that Hitler got to power and caused WW2. What should have we done?!? come in during elections and say “NO! Don’t vote for this guy. You need freedom and democracy”. They won’t be saying “yes you’re right” or “no we don’t agree”…..They will say “Who the F are you and what are you doing here during the middle of our elections?! Mind your own business!”
I am a US born citizen and currently live in California. I moved back here four years ago and could immediately sense and feel the commotion and fear that was blindly guiding this society. Shortly after I realized that “freedom and liberty” was actually a false advertisement. I feel more oppressed and controlled in this country than I do in a post-communist country like the Czech Republic.
I never trusted politics or vouched for any president or candidate until i watched one of the debate videos with Ron Paul in it. I’m tired of the other candidates just arguing, who’s more corrupt, pointing fingers, and talking about them and their relationship with “influential” leaders around the world and congress. Yet they have nothing against Ron. It’s obvious by what Ron says, that he is true presidential material. People around the world RESPECT him and wan’t him to become president. We are just making enemies while our defense is weakening because we are using it all as offense.
I would also like to mention. All these predictions about 2012 mention a “salvation” (that there still is a chance to fix it)……If any of these predictions come true by any chance…..Ron’s presidency is what will stop the hatred towards America that’s building up in the rest of the world.

Can not imagine how a Government that is so unorganized, corrupted and divided could possible pull off such a monumental secret as 911.I have researched it thoughtfully and for some time.Staged or planned or simply complacent of the warning signs I agree that it gave the powers a tremendous opportunity at the very leased to control us and remove our freedoms in the name of Protecting Us
Greed and Ego are two of this nations deadly sins, and lack of education effectively dumbing down the masses is certainly a path to control.World history has demonstrated countless times the path we are on.A man like Ron Paul seams to have the wright method and experience to truly change or bring back the Idea of what this country was founded on” LIMITED GOVERNMENT”.
The monster he is fighting is massive and I fear more than can be overcome.
I will be voting for him unfortunately the many uninformed masses will listen to the media, drive by ,sound bite ideology and thus make an less than educated decision.

I have been researching this so called 2012 election for the past 2 hours trying to find anything that i could use as an attack on ron paul. lets just say after two hours, the only thing i could come up with is he is a religious zealot. but i can tell you this from experience, Being religious is a hell of a lot more peaceful than being violent. THERE IS NO REASON AT ALL TO FIGHT THIS WAR FOR CAUSES THE (AMERICAN PUBLIC) DO NOT SUPPORT. call me a conspiracy theorist but
ive seen the footage. I hate to say it but 9-11 WAS STAGED. do you hear me? STAGED. do me a favor. stop listening to me and do some research of your own. use your own brain. there seems to be a lack of thought these days. if you really wanna see whats going on. open your mind and think. Ron Paul has my vote because unlike ALOT of america, He seems to be able to think with his brain instead of his WALLET!!! I personally was against him. now i say America’s last hope lies in his abilities as the future president of the United States of America, unlike the last 2 presidents who have seemed only to reinforce the DIVIDED STATES OF EMBARRASSMENT. feel free to message me if you disagree. Anotyptica1@gmail.com
I am a real person who would love to hear any possible reason why you disagree with anything i said. I love a good debate!
