Neil Cavuto: There are frequent calls for America’s military to start intervening, should it? Ron Paul, the former Republican Congressman and presidential candidate, says no, be careful, be very careful. Congressman, what do you think of this?
Ron Paul: I think it would be foolish, I think what we have been doing for so many years has been very foolish. I think that they ought to try to understand what blowback is all about and what the CIA has talked about and what Michael Scheuer has demonstrated so often in his work in the CIA. It’s just way too much, it hurts us to no end. One of the points I made when I gave my last little talk on the House floor, was that one of the trends that we’re probably facing was violent anti-Americanism, and it’s engulfing the world, and I think this is what’s happening over there. We have a mess in Egypt now, and we don’t know exactly what we’re supposed to be doing in Syria, and we end up supporting the bad guys. And even Hillary had an expression for it: “How did we know the bad guys were going to get these things?” And I think what’s happening in Mali right now with these hostages spun off from us getting involved in Libya and getting rid of Gaddafi. So one thing leads to another, and I just think that all these problems that we have make my case very clear, that we should have followed the Founders’ advice of staying out of entangling alliances and staying out of the internal affairs of other nations, mind our own business and save a dollar now and then, because we’re flat out broke.
Neil Cavuto: Well, the argument you get back, as you know, Congressman, is that we’ll regret that, because we essentially give the bad guys free run. Now the argument against what they were just claiming is that, well, terrorist are not idiots, they can pack up and leave. So if things get dicey for them in Afghanistan or Pakistan, apparently they move to Mali or Algeria or what have you. But they seem to be pretty good at movement. So I guess the bigger question is, should we do anything about that, or do we just let them brazenly grow unobstructed.
Ron Paul: Well, what we have to decide is why we have the problem. If we come down on the side that it’s spontaneous and they hate Americans, there’s Al-Qaida that kill us and they don’t like our prosperity and they don’t like our freedoms, maybe we should keep chasing them. But if the problem of these threats towards us and the disruptions is because we’re involved, then the answer is to be less involved.
Neil Cavuto: But what if it’s a little bit more than that, Congressman? I know you and I had a chat about this before; what if they really do hate us, they hate everything we stand for, and they really are all about … whatever our overtures towards the Muslim community are like, that they’re all about disgruntles, they just can’t stand us, they want us dead.
Ron Paul: Well, they might ask the same question, what if we didn’t hate Muslims? I mean, we have to build up a lot of hatred for us to go 6,000 miles away and kill people with drones, and this is where the conflict is coming. We have to beat the drums of war and this hatred that we have to go over and do these things. And then, all of a sudden, we have an epidemic of suicides of American soldiers who come back feeling, “What am I doing over here shooting these drone missiles, and little kids are dying and innocent people dying”. And now more people die from suicide, our soldiers are committing suicides. So I think it’s a failed policy, it doesn’t accomplish anything, and we don’t understand it. As long as we don’t want to look … we’re either in denial or we don’t want to understand it. But the CIA actually helps us on this to explain why there is retaliation, and if we don’t accept that, this is going to get much worse. And there are predictions that right now just because they haven’t hit us here at home, doesn’t mean that they’re starting to like us anymore. I think the problem is growing, it’s going to get a lot worse as long as we think we’re the king of the world.
Neil Cavuto: Ron Paul, thank you very much, I think.

Thanks Neil, you were the only one on FNC that showed respect and had Dr. Paul on a regular basis. Why didn’t Neil support Dr. Paul? He saw what happend to the Judge.

so if this is a hostage situation, what exactly are they asking us for? fazjay good point, i dont have hate towards any religion or race. its really sad to see that the intelligence of the majority compells them to hate eachother for the dumbest things. i really thought he was going to be the next great president. i think it was a devide and conquor deal with republicans so that obama would be the only eligable candidate ;( at what point is what obama says fraud? false advertisement? just bad?

I did not know that about the girl scouts, but I’m not surprised. When Obama drew large crowds at college campuses in 2007, it was headline news. When Paul attracted large numbers in 2011, it was relegated to youtube. The election was absolutely contrived; haven’t they all been? It’s time to work around the political structure; take care of each other at the local level; refuse to obey illogical laws. The whole Constitution can be read in just over an hour…how long to read 2400 page Obamacare?

If you’re seriously asking, there’s a LOT you need to know. If you’re making a snarky joke, there’s a tailpipe you need to suck. If you think there are actually free elections and fair politics in this country, you need to be looking up things like Eddie Dillard and Repub conventions at all levels. If you know better and think it’s funny…well, here we are back at that tailpipe.

Dr Ron Paul is the only or one of few really reasonable, wise, great politicians in USA. It is really big loss for USA and for the world that he wasn´t elected.

You nailed it…That caucus was cancelled due to snow, but the girlscouts were able to meet right next door to where the caucus was supposed to be held. The person who cancelled it was a Romney supporter. This all came out after the fact so nothing we could do about it. It was all fucking fixed.

If you went to any other page on youtube a comment like this would have been marked as spam. You called a group of people “fanatical zealots” when they could have easily removed your opinion but did not. That does not seem like the character of a zealot to me. Just thought I would point this out.

fuck this moron and all the morons out there saying they hate Americans for what they are and stand for. Im a Canadian and guess what we stand for the exact same things as Americans. Do you ever here about terrorists hating Canadians? No, because we aren’t intruding on them like Americans feel the need to do all over the world. Americans dig their own graves.

The US monetary system led by the federal reserve is a pyramid scheme.
Fighting “communism” was in fact forcing all nations to take part in this pyramid scheme by invading them if they did not expose themselves to the “open market.”
That is the real reason why certain people want the US to play world police and these people have deliberately warped history and even rhethoric in order to create in the minds of people the worldview that serves this agenda.
Only those at the top benefit from it.

“Those in power don’t even act to care that there is this divide.” They might prefer the title fair and balanced, to biased warmongering corporatist.

We voted…but we’re up against organized people who do things like, cancel a caucus in the county where Paul was historically most popular in the 2008 republican primary, in the state of Maine, on account of snow!?! Ever been to Maine? Those people live for snow. They show off their snow mobiles in July.
They also failed to promote his actual popularity through mainstream channels because he could not be bought. One has to be willing to sell out to succeed in this paradigm, unfortunately.

In our time, the truest example of an American that I can conceive.

As a former Marine Sergeant, I would’ve liked to see this man as our President. We are escalating to a dangerous level around the world. I suppose what will come to pass will happen, but this prophet’s words will be remembered during the time of greatest struggle and separation. And they will be a beacon for us to undo the harm which we have done to ourselves.

And no, I do not believe in the hog-wash devil’s supporters who control the world aka Illuminati. I believe there’s people who desire world domination, and they have the money to do it, but not the influence, and that’s partially what the government is doing. Eh I don’t care anymore nothing we can do.

I vote for the absolute destruction of the ones at the very top of the system, the ultra rich, and work the way up. If the founding fathers (excluding washington, the slave-lover) were reborn, they would declare war and would fight the inner terrorists (corporate media, banks, federal reserve, wall street, pentagon, cia etc) with guns.
Probably suicidal because then the whole country would be against the people who do that, and they would get life prison.
More people need to get educated

Then when America gets attacked, they get all butthurt and send in more of the same things.
It’s exactly like Israel. Outside it’s a very civil country, very modern, clean and nice.
On the inside, however, it is just as fascist as it’s strongest ally, the United States of America.
They do not respect Palestinian activism, and I rather side with Palestinians who do not desire power like any developed country like Russia, and want peace and prosperity than a country who is so far-right.

I’m not a veteran. But thank you for your service. More importantly, thank you for helping spread the truth. Do people ever wonder why the administration has listed returning veterans of possible terrorists? The govt wants to make sure people that know the truth are looked at as nothing more than PTSD patients… I wish people would wake up just as you. Keep praying brother!

Are you all going to wait for another false flag? or another war? We need to start the 2nd revolution, and I hope we can do this peacefully. Lets do what Iceland did to their congress.
