Here are what I think problems with general politicians or politics.
    1) They are only concerned about being re-elected and not solving major problems for sustainable growth.
    2) Only work to give bias to super-rich, banks, and big corporations. Bank bailouts are the obvious indicators when the people were stuck with debts, unemployment, and inflation versus bankers got richer and took no risk.
    3) Most of them are not smart. Smart people work in business.

I love how Fox News and Fox Business is consulting Ron more and more about economic issues, and taking Rand Paul extremely seriously. Sean Hannity called Ann Coulter annoying today on his show while defending Rand Paul, which was strange…but now Sean Hannity is saying he is a “Libertarian-leaning Republican”.

The Manning Centre is doing in Calgary exactly what Ron Paul stands against. They are running a slate of Corporate Cronies for council that will funnel taxpayer monies to the developers who lost their ownership of city council in the last election. Prior to that, taxpayers doled out $10k per lot to developers more than would ever be returned in property tax…and this does not include the unaccounted costs of sprawl.

He’s also against Harper: watch: Ron Paul: Neocons Are Not Conservatives

One of the best politician’s the US ever had. Didn’t get voted in by his own party cause his position is seen as too conservative. Cutting down on goverment spending, US military conflicts cost money, which pretty much is unafordable. The US have always been a leader for democracy, however, it has damaged it’s reputation with all of its interventionist policies that have made matters worse and created more suffering. Mr Ron Paul’s view of US politics and economics is what they need right now!

Voluntary Socialism does exist. When it’s volunteer, though, we’re back to Libertarianism. Communism works, too, when you offer the choice for people to be Communists and they choose to be but then you’re back to being Libertarian because you voluntarily made your own choice (providing you can choose to leave communism).

Everything works but its the people that make it work. Only one philosophy allows the people to actually make it work: Libertarianism. The rest is force.

Yes there is indeed voluntary socialism. The Kibbutz in Israel is a prime example of just that. You make the mistake now in assuming I am for socialism when in all essence all I said is…under the legal order of Libertarianism, voluntary socialism can perfectly exist while under socialism , everything is forced through the State ;)

sure if it was voluntary. the problem is that that society would still suffer from the calculation problem. It would fall apart and if the voluntary principle part was at all wishy washy they would have to either use force to maintain their system of r let it perish in favor of capitalism

According to libertarianism there is nothing wrong with voluntary socialism. It is when govt forces people into contracts that it becomes objectionable. Its about force.

classical liberalism is essentially libertarian. what is called liberal today is just socialism pretending to be modern
