Its funny how the government has charged Edward Snowden with espionage charges even though espionage is the act of leaking important strategic and military information to the enemy or foreign power. Edward Snowden could have sold this information to America's enemies or worked at the direction of a foreign government. But instead he chose to inform the American people that their government is spying on them. So frankly the US government considers its own people their enemy.
