The Federal Reserve is the chief culprit behind the economic crisis. Its unchecked power to create endless amounts of money out of thin air brought us the boom and bust cycle and causes one financial bubble after another. Since the Fed’s creation in 1913 the dollar has lost more than 96% of its value, and by recklessly inflating the money supply the Fed continues to distort interest rates and intentionally erodes the value of the dollar.
For the past 30 years, Congressman Ron Paul has worked tirelessly to bring much-needed transparency and accountability to the secretive bank. And in 2009 and 2010 his unfaltering dedication showed astonishing results: HR 1207, the bill to audit the Federal Reserve, swept the country and made the central bankers shudder at their desks. The bill passed as an amendment both in the House Financial Services Committee and in the House itself. But eventually the most significant portions of the bill were derailed. (Full story here.)
This year, Audit the Fed is back with a vengeance. Reintroduced on 01/26/2011 as HR 459, Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve now has 196 co-sponsors, and the numbers keep growing! HR 459′s companion bill in the Senate, S 202, has already attracted 19 co-sponsors.
This is history in the making, and victory is within reach. Imagine what will happen if HR 459, The Federal Reserve Transparency Act, comes up for vote in Congress! It has real potential to pass — BUT only if we educate and rally the people to support it and get our Congresspeople to put it to vote and pass it.
Step 1: Your Representative
If your representative is not on the following list of HR 459 co-sponsors, call their offices, write to them, email them. Let them know they need to support HR 459. If you live in their district, let them know. Go to their office.

| HR 459 (House) Dear Representative, Please co-sponsor and/or support HR 459, an effort to audit the Federal Reserve. Recently, it has come to light that there is little to no accountability to the people on the part of the Federal Reserve. While the citizens of this country are required by law to give an accounting of every penny they come in contact with, the Federal Reserve has never been held to the same standard. During this time of extreme economic crisis, the people deserve an accounting of where our money is going. Currently there are 196 co-sponsors for this legislation, and it is enjoying bi-partisan support. Your efforts in supporting this important legislation would go a long way in proving to your constituents that you not only hold the Federal Reserve to the same standard as you do your constituents, but it would also show that you believe in transparency. Anything less than support for this resolution suggests that you are in favor of secrecy and a lack of accountability to the people who pay the bills. We pay the tab; we have a right to know where our money is going. Unlike recent bills that you voted in favor of that had hundreds of pages and just a few hours to read, this bill can be read in under 5 minutes. I encourage you to take the time to read it, and then move to support it. Thank you in advance for your attention on this important legislation. I have every expectation that you will do right by your constituents and support this measure. No matter what they say or do, “HISTORY” always repeats itself. The majority, “we the people”, now acknowledges who the players are and realize what the problem is. When history repeats itself this time, “we the people” will NOT allow it to repeat itself EVER again. The “problem” will finally be resolved and all the weeds burned along with their seeds, and “FREEDOM” will truly ring always and forever. Then “we the people will place unwavering stewards in charge, in which we will put each and every one of them through, “trails by fire”, so not to ever be infected by this deadly virus ever again.

Great cause, however why is there no credit given here to Rep Bernie Sanders. He has workd with Paul on this issues for years, right? See the “Sanders Federal Reserve Transparency Amendment to the Financial Reform Bill ”
Give credit to your colleageswhen they do something right, no matter if they are on the same side of the aisle as you.

I’m confused about the Fed being audited. I have come across several links to sites stating that it has been audited since its inception. I have not researched this topic sufficiently so I am obvioulsy missing information.

Read “Rule By Secrecy”, “Rise of the Fourth Reich” and “The Trillion Dollar Conspiracy” by Jim Marrs. Marrs is known primarily as a New York Times bestselling author, “conspiracy theorist” and for his first book “Crossfire”, which is the penultimate of literature on JFK assassination. Marrs has been calling for the auditing of the Fed for years. Read his books and have your eyes opened. I am not a nut or a conspiracy quack, but there are far too many connections between international “banksters” (bankers/gangsters) and the Fed for it all to be coincidence. Please read at least “The Trillion Dollar Conspiracy” which details the backdoor dealings of the Fed and the collapse of the housing market. Worth every second of your time.

I am aCanadian and I sincerily hope that Ron Paul somehow gets to be nominated by the GOP. He is the only hope to get not just the USA back on track but his actions will be good for the entire world.
The FED and all the filthy rich bankers, who are the minions of the FED, need to be controlled by Federal legislation to curb their powers and misdeeds.
Please Americans VOTE FOR RON PAUL EN MASSE!!!!!

Why fight a fight that’s controlled.
The easiest way to get out from under the FEDs is for the USA to claim bankruptcy. Then the USA can create their own reprographics company for printing money based on all real metals (gold and others) for price flux as it should be.
FARMERS vs USA
The USA needs to get rid of the Monsanto FDA/gov. constituents that are killing the farmers and our seed industry. Who sheriffs Monsanto’s seed pollination when it effects its neighbors farms? Why would anybody eat food grown with a poison in it? The USA/gov needs to invest “IN” the farmer to supply food to the USA instead of being paid off by the gov. to not grow at all. We need to invest into hydroponic farms for faster production and to bring back healthy food with nutrients.
POISONs vs USA
USA needs to remove the fluoride epidemic that’s a neurotoxin. Fluoride and aspartame is designed to kill our spiritual connections (its calcifying our pineal gland) . Fluoride that’s being used for civilian consumption comes from manure plants, so we are all drinking dung water. Fluoride in high consumption makes gums bleed and depletes calcium from the body while making teeth brittle.
MILK MANUFACTORs vs USA
Whey is a by-product and comes from the process of making milk and for decades was never allowed by our government to be placed back into society for consumption for the obvious reasons, its crude components are aggressively destructive to the liver. Selling whey to our body builders was the first step in convincing a younger generation and an uneducated community that whey is good for you when in fact it’s just the opposite.
HEMP vs USA
Thanks to a Canadian guy by the name of Rick Simpson which proved Hemp/THC at higher concentrations is a cure all. The Canadian government and the forces to be have locked him up in jail. In Canada you can grow Marijuana but you cannot make hemp. This plant has more chemicals than most, it produces the highest omega 3 than all plants which just today is becoming a cure all, we could use it for bio-fuels and we had already used it for writing our constitution on it from antiquity times. So its ok for our for-father to use it but now its not? The big energy guys have been blocking this plant from humanity and using our government to do it.
UFOs vs USA
The people globally are ready for the truth. We are already like bees with a six sense that has been tuned to be controlled off, but we still feel through it at times…and Earths humanity is ready! We are not any different than the animals in the forest using there six senses except humanities has been turned off.
Life is nothing but a remembrance of what we have known before we were born!
Best Regards!
Peace……

Banks are committing fraud with fractional reserve banking. They are collecting interest on money that is produced out of thin air. That could not happen on a true gold standard. I live in Australia and we need Ron Paul for president of the USA.

Just a few ideas on our present day government. Obama himself in whom I question his true birth place. A senate that never has a term. Tax payers don’t really get to vote the President in. Too many illegal aliens and no change in taxes like sales tax instead of income tax. Senators signing bills they haven’t even had time to read. An economic adviser that was in trouble with the IRS for not paying his taxes prior to being a part of the administration. A Federal Reserve that shows no transparency. WOW! I just know George Washington has turned over a few times. Does anyone not understand why our Government isn’t working for us. Get them out and I do not wish to hear about any more ear marks trading hands. Thieves!

please, don’t be so naive. our country is in a big hole because of all the puppet Presidents we have had since JFK. Obama is one more puppet. Do your research and take a closer look of who finances him. Oddly enough, Goldman Sachs is his greatest supporter. What a coincidence that he bailed them out. Don’t be a sheep. I hope you know of the NDAA law that your president signed on 12/31/11. He just killed our Bill of Rights. You ought to do your research before you make such an ignorant statement (“this is what Obama is doing”) WAKE UP SHEEP!

I’m 30 years old and I have never voted. Until now I have never had a reason to. The world is in chaos and the United states of American is just being lead down a rabbit hole. This generation of kids are smarter and wiser with out the help of the flawed schooled systems and even they know its all wrong. I for the first time have heard from a politician’s mouth the truth of what is wrong with america and would be proud to make you the first person I have ever voted for!

Reinstate the original Glass-Steagall Act, and I am certain that as a result, the Fed will be audited thoroughlyng. Why work piecemeal when you can clean the whole mess in one simple action. We the people have our lives to live, do we not. So get her done!

I’m a Canadian, but please Americans listen to this man and vote someone that isn’t looking at symptoms but someone who is diagnosing the cause of the problem. Its insane that the average American doesn’t realize that the Federal Reserve is the culprit

@ChatarGoonCat
The truth about American’s is we don’t WANT to be ignorant. Growing up we’re trained to believe that what we are told is truth and that the world is what it is-no need to ask questions. We were told anything anyone said outside of Government was a crazy conspiracy theory and to shrug it off. Thank God for activist journalism, social media and this new age of thinking because America is slowly and surly waking up to the reality of what we are. A bunch of intentionally dumbed down minions…but not for long! Ron Paul is my personal hero =]

I have voted Dem ever since I was old enough, but I must say that Ron Paul has my vote. Its time we the people took our lives and country back. We need someone in office that will work for our interests and not those of the banks or corperations. Also I say put a cap on the time one can serve in congress, A president is only allowed 8 yrs ….. why isnt that in effect for all other public offices? they’re no better than the leader of this country.

Dear Honorable Representative/Candidate For President, Ron Paul , (Rep.Texas):11/31/2011
The Federal Reserve , needs to be monitored by a “Civilian Review Board” or a “Coalition For Sound Money” , as proposed by Dr. Hans F. Sennholz, PhD, Economics , in his book “Money And Freedom”, published by The Center For
Futures Education, Cedar Falls , Iowa., in 1985. ( Deceased )
The 17 EuroZone Nations and its 27 European Common Market Nations , in
it’s “Bail-Out Mentality Portfolio”.This Boom and Bust , Boom and Bust , is now being participated in by the Fed and the present Obama/Biden Administration , cannot and has not addressed this very severe
and pessimist problem……We Have Inflationary Trends , Then The Fed. Feeds The
American Voting Constituency , Deflationary Trends , As Well As Depreciation Of Our
Money ( U.S. Dollar ) , and blames the Capitalistic / Free Enterprise System ; and then
demands that the American Tax Payor , is at fault for evreything , and must be burdened with more and more taxes.
Our only salvation , is to vote the entire group out of office , come November 2012 &
my wish is that the “New Congress” , takes the power away from the Fed. to print any
new money or financial instruments , that has given the Fed a “Monopoly over our
U.S. Dollar since 1913 …..Time For A Change.
God Bless You and Yours, and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Dear Michael,
I wanted to provide you with a brief update to let you know that I am a cosponsor of S. 202, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2011. Your advocacy for this legislation made a difference, and I look forward to supporting the bill when it comes to the floor for a vote.
Again, thank you for taking the time to let me know about your priorities in Congress. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Sincere regards,
