Why? Why drop out of the race now? I thought we had something worth voting for. Now there isn’t one decent candidate running that has any sense of what the majority of the country needs. We are still stuck with a two party system and it is strangling the decent hard working american. No matter who gets in they will usher through the amnisty for those 11 or 12 million illegal alliens, I will guarentee. Things are not only messed up at a federal level but the states (or at least Louisiana has)have a bunch of dead weight as well. The genuseses we have in the legislature, have voted themselves a 300% raise, when we still have a lot of people who work all year long and don’t make what they will be making in 3 months. Our illustrieus governor has jumped in bed with them also. All the hog wash about disclosing everything only means they will show you up front what they will do and you can like or shuve it, but it will get shuved up or down you. Sorry for the Rambling and excuse the spelling, i just wanted to know why you are dropping out now and what do we have to look forward to?

Ron Paul, though the only person qualified to be the president of this once great nation, will never be elected. Why not, you may ask? The news media is owned by big money, the same people who control the dollar. He will never get the coverage he deserves in order to win the people’s vote. Unfortunately, the USA is headed for a blend in with the rest of the world. Our soveriegnty is a thing of the past and we are soon to see a world order under the rule of the UN.If men would repent and submit themselves to the Lord Jesus Christ, they would realize this world is only a temporary habitation. My allegience is to no country, but to the kingdom of God.
Already there have been statements by those who are pushing the one-world-goverment that Ron Paul doesn’t fit into their plans. If he should become president, they would have to eliminate him.
It seems that the presidency is “fixed.” Democrat or Republican does not matter as long as the person can be a puppet or else actually subscribes to what the Corporate Group wants.
Marge, I concur… And I totally understand what you mean.
Dear Dr. Paul,
I am a former Democrat. I loved you from the very moment when you entered the race, and I will always respect you. I have great admiration for you, but I am desperate to ask you to please not run for President this year.
I am a voter who was discounted and is now supposedly “fell in line” to vote for Sen. Obama. The truth is that I can’t stand Sen. Obama and will never vote for him. I am very neutral to Sen. McCain, but I am very paranoid just with the thought that Sen. Obama has the slightest chance of winning. If Sen. McCain will not be elected, then our country and nation will be destroyed. We can’t afford being controlled by terrorists.
PLEASE drop out to give us ability to defeat Sen. Obama, the terrorist controlled candidate. I always support you and your work. You are the best.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work, love, dedication, and strong support for our country,
All the best,
anonymous
While I’m annoyed a bit about Obama’s “flip-flopping” in the McCain web-video documentary about his ideas for Iraq and whether or not he wants the troops to withdraw entirely (”Just leave a strike force to protect our embassies and do anti-terrorism stuff… No wait, I didn’t say that last bit, just the embassies then.” to paraphase Mr Obama himself), I don’t think I could vote for McCain either. Sounds like more two party madness, and political games… But yeah, while I’m annoyed about all that, I still wouldn’t say that he is “terrorist controlled”, of all things. Smacks of narrow-mindedness to me.
I’m glad I don’t have to make that decision as I’m not American; but the BBC is very keen on covering all the details of your friggin’ election process in the UK, “as what happens to the USA affects the rest of the world so very much”.
And you lot should “quit whining” about your “gas prices” — in Britain the tax is about 60% on fuel, which makes it the equivalent of about $8.58 per US gallon according to Google.
In arizona we cannot write in Ron Paul. How can we do this? The sec. of state said I need a letter from you sent to arizona so your name can be counted. Is this correct?
