One part of me would wish Paul wouldn’t dare take a position in the belly of the beast, and instead take his shot in 2012. On the other hand, the American public…the world…might not have that much time to wait, given the way we’re trending. Perhaps if he could do some good, holding fast to his principles while not getting killed for it, it would be worth it. We shall see.

    Hello fellow freedom folk;

I was poking around the web trying to find out more about HR 1207 and it’s status and I found two useful sites:

1.) This one is a gov’t tracker and allows you to look up status on any piece of legislation, very interesting

    http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-1207

2.) Here is a form to contact the House Financial Services Committee who owns HR 1207. ( I had already written to my Congressman, but until the bill clears this committee, he can’t do anything to influence it. These folks can….if your rep is in here, their influence is far grerater.)

  8. Non-credit money is not debt than gift. Taxes are annulled for the amount of non-credit money. Non-credit money swops a taxes. The prices are diminishing for consumers and consumer’s surlus rests to consmuers. The producers get greater profit since pay not a part of taxes as well as credit and interest. All get in the order of non-credit money. Without inflation and deflation. Without economic crisis. Production grows as well as employment.

  9. LARRY LUCENTE says:

LET THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ISSUE A 10,000 DOLLAR LINE OF CREDIT AT SIX PERCENT TO EVERYONE WHO HAS A SOCIAL SECURIY NUMBER AND IS OVER TEWENTY YEARS OF AGE. THAT WOULD FREE UP BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF CREDIT TO CONSUMERS. THE SIX PERCENT THAT THE TREASURY COLLECTS CAN GO INTO THE S.S. TRUST FUND AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO RAISE S.S. TAXES. IF THE BORROWER DOES NOT PAY THE LOAN BACK IT CAN BE TAKEN BACK FROM THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT WHEN THE TIME COMES. THIS WOULD ELEIMINATE THE USURIOUS CREDIT CARD COMPANIES THAT ARE RESTRICTING THE GROWTH OF OUR ECONOMY. IT IS OUR MONEY AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BORROW AGAINST THE FUND DURING THIS TIME OF ECONOMIC DOWNTURN.

I sure wish Anita, Joe Scarborough etc would show a little bit more humility, and show Dr. Ron Paul some respect. He sure has earned it. (Anita, do you call your grandfather “Fred”?)

Mike – take your meds, dude, calm down.

“…and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands, one nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all (who fight for it!). That’s how I taught my kids.

  15. Mike says:

Can we get a bill through congress to allow the media to report to the public, with video unedited of footage from inside Ft. Knox? If there was no gold found how would Americans react? Would there be about 1% of us that truly comprehend this? How do we as Americans educate our selves, and teach the others who are CLUELESS (99%) of the constitutionalality of the gold standard? The brackets, and percentages I refer to are MY OWN OPINION. Having had numerous conversations through out my life with “AMERICANS” Who think just because they are born, and live here that they KNOW what it all means. It is really a terrible situation we are in. The compartmentalization, red, vs. blue, Dems, Rep, conservatives, liberals, left, right, center, all these STUPID ignaorant, back asward titles, and positions. WHAT A SHAME AMERICA. WHAT A SHAME>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Our founding fathers spoke to us as individuals, gave us each the RESPONSABILITY, individualy to keep our REPUBLIC. Even this word is dropped from the vocabulary. If you say the pledge of aliegence, do you say “and to the democracy for which it stands” NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
It is a Republic for which I STAND. CNN, FOX, MSNBC, Wall Street, Cogressman, Senators, Govenors, Mr. President, ladies and gentleman. Is this TOOOOOOOOOO complex for us to grasp?????
    Help me I am overloading………

  16. Mike says:

Lets talk some more about the gold. As my memory serves me, my recolection is that there “is” approximately 11,700,000,000 onces give or take a few, on deposit at Ft. Knox. Some one please correct me if this is incorrect. Now if the Government is a collection of Representatives from each state, and the constitution is up held to its fullest, I would say that each and every American should be well off. How ever I personally believe that there is “NO” gold remaining in Ft. Knox. There has only been one president in history that has ever been “allowed” to go into the building. We Americans have been robbed in every way possible. If there are people who KNOW for a fact that there still remains “OUR” gold there please let me know. You all agree that the gold is OURS right? Or am I deceived and is it really the GOVERNMENTS? :) According to the constitution Americans deposited their money long ago with the gaurrentee that their money could be exchanged for gold. Then in 1913 or shortly after the Federal Reserve was in-acted bla, bla, bla, the law was passed and Americans were threatend with imprisonment if they were to hold gold. It is my STRONG suspicsion that the gold has been removed and is in the hands of the same mongaloids that control the Federal Reserve, and the rest of the worlds markets. Please let me know where my mistakes are, and where I am off. Thanks again Mr. Paul…..

    • Paul says:

I believe that we should push for not only a audit bill for the federal reserve but also for a public audit to be aired on the media to show the U.S. that our gold is still in Fort Knox. Not just one Vault but all of the vaults that contain our gold and also to include a brick by brick count with each one weighed to insure that its real gold and not some brick of lead with gold paint. You know a real audit. So if the audit shows that the Federal Reserve are a bunch of crooks then we can re do our money and economy the way it should have been done in the first place and be rest assured that we have our gold to back our paper money.

  17. Michael says:

That’s a very good question Anita, I wonder if Ron would be up for a cabinet position.

  18. wade cravey says:

the only new currency ive even heard mentioned is the amero. and i could only assume that it would be modeled to rival the euro and the EU. and for someone who is concerned about economics and immigration. it would pay to study the eu model. and no anita, we need ron right where he is.
