The USA Ron, is the last hope of the vision of freedom on the planet. It was this freedom bred of the Constitution that made the USA so creative & powerful ,yet now we have the weak parasites feeding of the reminants of it’s carcass.
So Ron ,seek international support, since the USA with it’s military global dominance is for a brief time, a shining star of what could be.
Most of the US elites have sold out to greed and power. When power is centralised
in few hands, thus goes creativity and real wealth.

I have been watching Mr. Paul for some time and would like to be able to volunteer my time to his bid for presidency…he is our last hope…I am a very powerful ally to a person who trusts me and have a unique work ethic when I believe in such as Mr. Paul…in other words “I can sell him because I believe”.

American born, but I live in Switzerland now (where the currency has retained some value over the last 80 years). I work in banking so I understand the economics behind central banking and how it affects the buying power of those not in the know.
I agree 100%

I am a CPA from Texas/Oklahoma who is currently an expat living in the Cayman Islands. CI currency is unfortunately fixed on the US Dollar, but fortunately money stays in the country due to no income tax. Just think if the US had gold backed money – which could not super inflate – and it stayed in the country…
As long as Ron Paul is in the House, I know there is at least one truthful voice in Washington.
The country is a house divided as a marriage becomes divided. Monetary problems become the root of so many other problems. First set your house in order financially, then you can start really working on the rest.

I did not vote for Ron Paul in 2008 for two reasons:
1-I thought he could not win.
2-I didn’t agree 100% with every idea he had.
Now, after reading and thinking about it, I am ready to support Ron Paul in 2012. While I still don’t 100% agree with every thing he says, I feel that his beliefs are the most Constitutional and are desperately needed to protect and preserve the Constitution, our security and liberty. I still wonder if he can win, but I am no longer planning to support a candidate I don’t really want just because I “think he can win.” I am sick to death of where the country is headed, and we need to reclaim “the people’s government” just as Massachussets needs to reclaim “the people’s senate seat.” Thanks for listening.

No doubt you are one of the few that has the guts to stand for what is right but I have to ask why isn’t there a Financial Reform? Why has those that are responsible for bringing American to her knees made accountable? The “too big to fail” companies are labeled that because its actually that they funnel so much money in campaign money and those that accept are bought and paid for. Chris Dodd is only one example and his weak Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protections Act does nothing but reward Wall Street for bad business and provide “protection” to allow them to continue on as usual without any accountablity. Of course this has gone on for far too long with out one person standing against Wall Street until the poop hit the fan. Why? It is not like the hand writing wasn’t on the wall. The toxic loans were doomed before the ink dried yet no one stopped the years of risky loan making. Why? This country needs a total cleansing from the Whitehouse down to get rid of the Chris Dodd and those like him. Its pretty bad with the leaders of this country allow home loans when the buyer did not have to qualify. They did not have to show proof of income or anything. And the “Pick your payment” loans, please that was just stupid. There were loans that closed and never made the first payment. Can you say fraud? All these toxic loans were doomed but it did not matter as long as everybody along the line got their money.
This country does not have a government of the people, for the people by the people. This country consist of leaders that are straight off Wall Street. People like Chris Dodd are bought and paid for, they are weak to the all mighty dollar. What’s sad is there are many just like him and they all work together for decades all the while on the take and selling out the American taxpayer. When does it all stop? Why are corrupt CEO’s going to actually be made accountable for their actions instead of bonuses?

Perhaps, the truly disturbing ideas are those regarding how well-known were the sacrosanct nature of mortgage qualification standards and the Glass-Segal Act as regards safe-guarding the financial stability of our nation. These points are not lost on those who initiated and conspired to ignore the degradation caused by the abandonment of these obvious and common-sense protections to a system which had already evinced the potential for destructive volatility.
What do I mean? There is no way that responsible and knowledgable people at the very top of the power system were not aware of the consequences of this path. My conclusion? Destruction of the Currency systems is the goal, in order to create the chaos and fear necessary to consolidate power and steal more wealth on the path to One-World currency, One-World Bank and One-World Socialist Totalitarian Government.
It is time we stopped being afraid to describe the obvious.

Thank you Mr. Paul for your continued dedication to our country and its citizens. I know it must be tough to be one of the few that cares, but you are doing the right thing. For what its worth I see that I made a mistake registering democratically and not supporting you in the republican primary. That mistake will not be repeated. This country needs change, as we are coming to a transitory point in world economics, energy, and policy. Edmund Burke said, ‘The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing.’ And when the evil that has taken root, even unwittingly, flourishes it will be out fault. Again thank you for caring. – Andrew

When the GOP held the Presidency and the majority of Congress under President Bush, they tried passing a so-called balanced budget amendment. And although it sounds like a good idea, this ‘would-be’ amendment is an illusion and a fraud. If it wasn’t, then why do some of the biggest spenders in Congress support this measure? The reason they support it is because they know that it’s popular with the voters, but they also know that it would not change their spending habits in the least. The bottom line is that if our Congress was not permitted to spend more than they received in taxes, this would set up the perfect excuse to raise our taxes even more. We voters would eventually collapse under the burden of these higher taxes and demand that our Congressmen circumvent the very amendment we previously supported. For that reason, most versions of a balanced-budget amendment have a clause that would allow Congress an ‘out’. It goes something like this: Congress shall balance the budget “except in cases of emergency”. Well…who is it that decides what constitutes an emergency? Of course…Congress! In other words, Congress shall balance its budget except when it doesn’t want to. So what else is new?
If the voters are serious about having our Congress support a balanced-budget amendment, we would have to tackle not balancing the budget, but limiting the spending. If we did that, balancing the budget would take care of itself. However, with the current make-up of Congress, it would be a waste of time to even try. If we really wanted Congress to spend within its means, we would throw all the big spenders out of office. But we rarely do because we measure the success of our Congressmen by job creation and the amount of money they bring and spend in our states and/or districts.
A flaw in most versions of the balanced-budget amendment is that it does not take into consideration entitlement programs (social security, Medicare, unemployment, etc.). These programs, which represent the largest amount of spending by the Federal Government, constitute more than 53% of all federal outlays and this figure grows each year. Any strategy that does not take this into consideration is not even worth considering. And even if Congress could be forced to stop deficit spending, it would not address the problem of inflation or paying off the national debt.
The basis that allows our Congress to spend beyond its means is the Federal Reserve System (Yes, Mr. Paul. I am reading your End The Fed book now). Most Americans don’t know that the Federal Reserve is not a government agency, as its name implies. Giving a private banking conglomerate the ability to inflate and/or contract our nation’s money supply without having to come to Congress is totally ludicrous. Since the Federal Reserve is a private conglomerate, will it not be looking out for its own interests, even if it’s at the expense of the public’s interest? Unless we zero in on the Federal Reserve itself, we are just playing political games with no chance of winning a balanced budget.
I applaud you, Mr. Paul, for submitting a bill to audit the Federal Reserve. Unfortunately, these bills receive little to no publicity and never get out of committee for a vote. But what is there to investigate? A few minor improprieties would probably be discovered, but that’s nothing compared to the gigantic fraud that is already out there for everyone to see.
An audit of the Federal Reserve could do more harm than good. It gives our monetary scientists an opportunity to deceive the public by providing confusing statistics, charts, tables and exhibits. By the time all is said and done, and with all volumes of testimony complete, the public would be intimidated, confused and fatigued.
We do not need a bill to audit the Federal Reserve, Mr. Paul. We need one to abolish it, like you state in your book! Until this is done, a balanced-budget amendment will not serve its intended purpose.

To Rep. Ron Paul
I would like to personally thank you for giving me a reason to feel as if there is hope out there. I am a young man that previously had no interest in the way things were being handled in this country. With a wife and baby on the way I am intrigued to do what I can to provide the best life possible for them. I cannot change foreign policy, I cannot fix healthcare, and I cannot reach millions of people to help them open thier eyes. But you can and will because you deserve it and because we need you. We need a man who can stick to his guns and not be afraid to shoot. The America I know is full of honest, hard-working, sacrificing people who dont ask for anything in return. And the people that we have to choose from, to represent us, often seem like a different breed of person. Because here in Nowhereville, USA we dont dance around problems and we dont hesitate to tell the truth. That is why it is refreshing listening to you speak because you dont seem to have reservations or take time to BS your way through an answer. I think I speak for alot of young adults when I say that I feel as if I have no voice or that there is nothing to strive for. In the 08 election I didnt even vote for the presidential election because I didnt like either of the candidates.(it was like choosing between rotten cheese or a unripened cherry) I certainly hope that you will run in 2012 and give me a reason to wait in line for half hour to really use my vote for someone I believe in.
Thank you Again

I have become so disheartened with the course the country has taken that I finally decided to leave last year after securing a job overseas. From abroad I have watched with great sadness how lost we continue to be as the US flails about with misguided fixes and more of the same policy mistakes. I have often reflected that my financial losses (retirement plan, assets left behind) pale in comparison to the sadness I feel about the loss of a country, of the ideal I had about my country being a beacon of good to the world, and even, more personally, to the question of whether I should or would even return to what it’s become.
Mr. Paul, you are truly a hero. Granted, I wish I had half your knowledge and eloquence as I tried to voice some of these truths to friends, acquaintances and colleagues in the past several years, but the result was almost universally the same – ranging from polite disagreement to the more common brainwash litter “fight them there so we don’t have to fight them here” to “so you don’t support our troops – you’re part of the problem” to the “the dollar is the only game in town” to the occasional “if you don’t like leave it”.
I suppose every country has its share of ignorant and uneducated people, but in addition ours is incredibly arrogant and susceptible to control. Hard to reconcile this with the nature of so many people I know who are always ready to lend a hand, to help others, who prize family, civic contribution, charity and volunteerism.
Mr. Paul, I will send a donation to the cause, and I applaud you and all the people in your movement. I must confess I waver between anger and hopelessness: Anger that the country has let itself drift so far, that with our misguided methods and our disgraceful fall we also lose our message – a message of freedom and “good” that I see no other nation capable of championing; Hopelessness that anything can be done before we bluster and spend ourselves into ignominy.
Sir, I admire to no end your strength and your vision. I hope you will indeed run for the Presidency again in 2012. I will certainly do I what I can to contribute to the effort.

Ron Paul gets it. He knows the core problem that America faces is the Federal Reserve and I applaud him for his efforts to shed light on this secretive organization Rep. Paul reminds me of Andrew Jackson and his battle against The Second Bank of the U.S.. Jackson was victorious, I pray that Rep. Paul will have the same result. I am just a citizen, an ordinary working man, but I want to help– What can the average guy or gal do? I have been writing, phoning, faxing and emailing Rep. Doyle ( 14th district, Pa.) for months and he is totally non-responsive to doing anything about the Fed, Cap and Trade, in fact, he always votes in favor of things that are harming America and her citizens. Doyle is definitely no Ron Paul!! If Rep. Paul decides to run for President again I will vote for him!!!

Dear Dr. Paul,
I am a 29 war veteran and current college student majoring in economics and political science. As the son of 2 blue collar union job parents who never graduated who never went to college, I’ve grown up with a strong distrust of the elite and they GOP party, which they inherently gravitate towards. I will say however, that I think you, your views and your ideas transcend to an underlying truth that is not widely known to exist. You have become an entity all your own that extends all party lines. Those lines that you have past are the ones that divide truth from deception. Your honestly one of the last of our elected leaders that stand as your own person, extending beyond agenda’s influence. When you began to question the FED and the fractional reserve system…the resistance you met, told me you were getting closer to the truth. And for that…I support you. Revolution is coming. – John Tackett – (D) Florida.
