Illegal Immigration

3623 Responses

Illegal immigrants are a convenient scapegoat for our economic crisis. But with free markets and private property, the need for immigrant labor becomes obvious. Most immigrants, regardless of the color of their skin, are open to the ideals of liberty: private property, free markets, sound money, right to life, low taxes, less war, protection of civil liberties, and a foreign policy designed for peace.

Ron Paul proposed the following action steps for dealing with illegal immigration:

  1. Abolish the welfare state. The incentive to take a job at whatever wage available must prevail.
  2. Establish a generous visitor work program. Once we solve the economic crisis by introducing sound money, demand for domestic and immigrant labor will rise.
  3. Enforce the laws on the books with more border guards. Allow states and landowners to enforce the law and provide security assistance.
  4. Abolish birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants. [Current U.S. citizens will not be affected. Instead, babies born to illegals after a future cutoff date will no longer gain automatic U.S. citizenship. They will still have citizenship in their parents' home countries.]
  5. End all federal mandates on the states to provide free education and medical care for illegal immigrants.

Ok, I love Ron Paul, but let’s face it, the poor who come to our country illegally are primarily VICTIMS OF POVERTY. The people who come here are seeking a good life for their FAMILIES. Why do we not have issues with illegal immigrants from CANADA? Because they aren’t faced with the decision “Do I stay here and watch my children grow up in absolute poverty, or do I risk everything for a CHANCE that my kids will have a BETTER LIFE?”

The ROOT of the problem is POVERTY in those countries WHICH IS mainly CAUSED (in my humble opinion) by OUR corrupt government sending money to prop up their corrupt governments and signing treaties like NAFTA, CAFTA etc that discourage free enterprise and sustain poverty.

Illegal immigration is simply a SYMPTOM OF POVERTY which our policies/foreign “aid” help to maintain. Reform will not happen over night, but I think a good start would be to end NAFTA and CAFTA and end foreign aid to corrupt governments and their officials. This, I would hope, Ron Paul would help initiate.

As long as they are living in poverty in Mexico, Central and South America, it doesn’t matter how many border patrol you hire, how many walls you build. There is an inborn passion in human beings to seek the BEST POSSIBLE LIFE for their CHILDREN. As long as they know there is a glimmer of a chance for them to offer a better life for their kids they will come.

If you want illegal immigration to end, then you can

    1. Support repeals of CAFTA/NAFTA that keep our brothers and sisters in poverty.

    2. Get involved in directly helping to end poverty in our neighboring countries with micro-loans or other charitable causes that empower and educate our neighboring brothers and sisters.

@justme123475 I agree with you wholeheartedly, but I think that the US needs to enact legislation to remove the incentives that draw the illegals to this country. Including birthright citizenship.

Everyone pays sales tax. No way around it unless your non profit. You cannot say that they cost more money than what they produce. I also want to point out that america was founded on slavery/ cheap labor. we need cheap labor in general. You like taking those long showers and wasting that water when the worlds supply is being curt due to severe droughts and water exploitation/ taking private ownership of water for water bottles. But lets be realistic you like your standard of living. How much trash do you produce a year. All that plastic has to go somewhere. Well anyhow we always need cheap labor no matter what ( Walmart , Every major clothing company with sweat shops) unless you want be a socialist nation for you to spread and lower your standard of living. We also need great minds to remain innovative in the US. Nikola Tesla was an Immigrant he came with the AC powering everything in your Home . Alot of radio/ wireless communication was due to him. So you should never cut anyone’s education short. Even then you end up taxing them regardless of much they make in their lifetime. But i will tell this agenda has nothing do with economic reasons its more rewarding to Americans as a whole. That’s why it has always occurred. Look at the reason why it took so long from Abraham Lincoln to free slaves to actual rights of Lyndon B Johnson’s Civil Rights Act of 1964. People were scared but even then it has not really changed the actual outcome. People are more aware of things now since the age of internet. Unfortunately education has not. You see more dumber kids than ever. lowering standards only choosing a select few for quality education. Its very sad when other nations rank very high in education. Every child needs the same opportunity to achieve. We never know what great mind we can create. Not slapped and taken away.Every child has a right to dream. We need to tolerate others and blame no one else but ourselves. It sickens me that we have all this private industries profiting from peoples hope with crap education thinking they get better jobs. EVEREST ITT TECH PHOENIX and many others. (credits dont transfer) owning someone to pay off that student loan at high interest another form of slavery. But thats different story it but keep in mind US can crash because of that.

This isn’t a moral issue, this is a straight forward legal or not legal. You can’t just wander into any country you want, set up camp and say ” Hi guys. I’m living here now”.

Legal immigration is great. There is a process in place for immigration. Yes it is difficult to navigate, fairly confusing, and more difficult than it should be but thats what prepares you for the constant barrage of crap you will face as a US citizen while trying to renew your drivers license.

@EvivE@guitybyproxy I do not care about a fence. I think American business should be fined heavily and the owners put in jail for willfully hiring illegals. I think National E-verify should be mandatory and any & all incentives for illegals taken away including doing away with birthright citizenship. If the illegals have no reason to be here then they will leave. While this is happening the US military can start taking out all the gangs in this country, such as MS13. Our military need to guard our borders, not be fighting a war in the middle east.

@EvivE@guitybyproxy We have plenty of oil in this country. We do not need oil from foreign countries. I work in the oil and gas industry and I am very aware of what is going on with the oil industry. The govt continues to buy oil from foreign countries, when they should be increasing drilling for oil in the US and while they are doing that they should also be implementing alternate forms of energy within the US. We do not need to be dependent on foreign countries for oil. Bush went to war with Iraq to clean up his daddy’s mess and to create billions more income for his cronies, his friends and family. So our soldiers do not need to be in the middle east.

I would like to say that we have plenty oil like saudi arabia but we don’t .More or less because we rather see everyone use up their oil first . Venezuela is first Saudi Second. Allowing us more time to find an actual resource capable of producing as much energy that barrel of oil does. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2178rank.html

Ethanol is by far the least efficient. Due to having to mine the monsantos fertilizers. Not to mention 20 billion The US spends on agricultural subsidies each year ( many crops end up spoiled) . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agricultural_subsidy#United_States

          http://maps.grida.no/go/graphic/monsanto-corporation-s-global-vegetable-seed-market-share

To produce batteries you also need non renewable minerals as well

. . Even then the Energy grid for most US is pretty old and antiquated to handle load of plugin hybrids. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=110997398 . Hydrogen seems like our only option But this technology is still hard to trust as its very complicated for general Mechanics.

Really we need to work on more efficient engines. Air needs better compression to fuel ratio. I also want to point out that we need more research on electromagnetism.

“Papers please.” (Remember Nazi Germany). This isn’t about illegal immigration. The powers that be want us to “hate the illegals” and DEMAND better “papers” (e-verify…my opinion:creepy!). Why do you think OUR government set up NAFTA and CAFTA so that latin american poor stay poor? Because they know that the poor will risk everything to give their kids hope (translation: come here illegally). Then, we will react with hatred toward “the illegals” because we feel invaded and we will run screaming and begging to our government to “solve” the problem they helped create in the first place. Just sayin’ if you want it to end, demand that our government 1. repeal NAFTA and CAFTA, 2. Stop sending foreign aid to corrupt governments. 3. Pray for those who despitefully use you (even if you don’t believe in God, it will help you feel better inside after a while). P.S. totally agree about ending war in middle east.

@justme123475@EvivE@guitybyproxy At this point E-Verify is a necessity because it is one of the few ways to keep the illegals from taking jobs from Americans. It is not much different than the I-9 but much more accurate. When you apply for a job you will always have to give your social security number, sign a w-4 and I-9, so what is the difference between E-verify and the paper forms? Getting caught cheating the system that is what the difference is.

I have the perfect solution: People like yourself, must sponsor the immigrant.

You will be responsible for all societal costs and fiscal burdens created. Right now, phonies like you are forcing the rest of us, especially our children, to support your socialist philosophy.

How much money and time do you currently contribute to your socialist agenda? Do you work a second job? Why not? In actuality, your concern only goes as far as others are forced to pay. If you had to pay for the expenses, your philosophy would change in an instant.

BTW, estimates range from $222,000 to $226,000 to raise a child from birth to age eighteen. At age 65, Fidelity estimates $217,000 in remainder of life healthcare expenses. You and others can sponsor an immigrant and guarantee these costs.

@deedee681@SteveKillgo Recently the Utah citizens uncovered a nasty little state govt. secret. The Utah govt. was assigning pregnant illegals a social security number so they could get prenatal care at the expense of Utah Taxpayers. Those illegals continued using those numbers beyond the prenatal care and it bit the Utah Govt. in the backside. The numbers they were assigning were valid social security numbers of US Citizens. When I enrolled my children in school I had to present a valid birth certificate for everyone of my children. I wonder how the illegals get past that little requirement for their kids? I have already said once that my best friend works for the State social services and she has discussed this situation with me before she is very aware of all the illegals on the welfare rolls for their “anchor babies”.

But, they can stay in the US and be raised in foster care or they can return to their parents native country then return once they are of age. These child will not necessarily suffer in their native parents country. I think these parents should NEVER be allowed citizenship because of what they did to their children.

They survived out of their own blood, sweat, and tears. One day, a Caucasian man grabbed my mom’s purse out of my hands…a full weeks worth of pay we were on our way to the bank to deposit. My mother had me in a hospital paid by Medicaid. I became a citizen as soon as i was born but my mother was not. She wasnt granted her citizenship until she was 45 years old and i graduated high school. I believe ive paid my debt to Medicaid and public education. I am a USN Sailor and so is my sister. We are grateful for everything we have and serve our country without hesitation. When we see the consequences of war we don’t think “it’s those illegals fault” we see the truth. 60 hospitals in the state of California alone went bankrupt from 1993 to 2003 due mostly to Illegal Immigrant expenses. We, as a country, can’t be importing huge fiscal burdens.

In a 2004 study, the Center for Immigration Studies estimated that illegal alien households used about $2,700 more services than they paid in taxes at the federal level only.

We also found that households headed by a legal Mexican immigrant created a net fiscal drain at the federal level of roughly $15,000, and for those with only a high school degree the drain was a little over $3,700.

A new Heritage Foundation study estimated the net fiscal drain at all levels of government created by households headed by high school dropout immigrants at about $20,000 a year.

FAIR estimates the costs to this country due to illegal immigration to be $113 Billion annually. For more see http://www.fairus.org

The bottom line is the USA can’t be importing societal costs. No more Enron style “off-balance sheet” accounting — where you show only one side of the ledger. Read the statistics posted and you will see the word “net” — as in illegal immigrants are “net tax recipients” — they consume far more tax dollars than they pay in.

Jjohn, how can an undocumented worker cost a taxpayer anything when we are not able to qualify for any government subsidies? That’s right, I said “we” because I was one for 13 years (just got legal). Undocumented workers have to do things the old fashiioned way – pay all our own bills by working – becuse all the subsidies and safety nets available to citizens are not available to us. (health care, welfare etc). The idea that anyone comes here illegally and gets a free ride is a myth. Undocumented workers are afraid to call the police when we get robbed, for fear of deportation. Now that I have my green card, I can start cashing in on those subsidies everyone else has been getting (for instance, I can now actually qualify to recieve the merit scholarship to go to college I couldn’t get before, even though my GPA was 3.98). Just sayin’ …

@CharlotteThistleArcher Their children get a free education at the expense of the US Taxpayers pocket. They go to hospitals and do not pay their expenses. They have babies at our hospitals and they qualify for medicaid for prenatal care because the fetus’s are presumed to be an American citizen. We cover all expenses for jail if they commit a crime. Our insurance goes up to cover the cost of accidents caused by illegals that do not carry insurance, their children get free meals at school. So you are flat out wrong that illegals do not cost the us taxpayers anything.

In the US Olympics how many athletes do you think were actually born in different countries. Lets go further back . Look at Nikola Tesla. He was an immigrant. He was the father of AC power and radios. Great mind indeed but he was an immigrant. Human kind befitted alot from him. We need Great minds to remain competitive in the US if not other nations will overrun the US in education and and we will loose out our place in the world for innovation.

The difference is an immigrant does not take or infringe on others to obtain their goal. Illegals take what they want without regard for others and then demand they are justified in their actions and start playing the race card when it is pointed out what they did was criminal.

I am not talking about people that come here on a visa and overstay there visa then apply for citizenship making them illegal trying to get legal or illegals that cross the border stay for several years then finally apply for citizenship.

There is a right way and a wrong way of doing things. We both know when people refer to illegals they are referring to the people that are doing it the wrong way. You cannot justify a persons bad actions by saying oh they are trying to become legal the are just illegal now.

@deedee681@EvivE Well Deedee681 I have seen enough footage about these illegal immigrants to know they are not harmless. They are in our colleges as students and out in our society DEMANDING THEIR RIGHTS. The question is why do they think they have rights in a country they are not citizens of? Because they have squatted here they think they are the equivalent of a citizen? I can site you hundreds of news articles where illegals have raped, molested, robbed, and murdered US Citizens. You could probably not count up all the accidents they have been involved in and were uninsured and/or had no license. Our prisons are full of these people that were probably once just a nice illegal immigrant and now we are supporting them in our prisons.

Illegal immigrants that have children that are US Citizens (anchor babies) can and do get welfare benefits for their children. My best friend works for the department of social services in my state and she is sick to death of all the illegals that are on the welfare rolls getting food stamps for their US Citizen children. They know that the US will not deport them as they are the parents of a minor US Citizen. Trust me the illegals know how to use our system as well as any US Citizen does.

You can go on youtube.com and type in the words illegal immigrant and see all the footage of illegals sneaking into this country, you can see them having rallies and demanding rights they do not get. You can see them rallying for the take over of the US by Mexican nationals. So do you really believe they are not hurting anyone or taking what does not belong to them?

If you notice they eat up what the media tells them to worry about. Yet politicians make laws to benifits them selfs. And thu can’t see that china takes more money than Mexico and yet they are arguing that mexicans are ruining the economy. Mexico takes 160 billion a year according to that video yet china makes almost trillions a year and they are more worried about Mexicans. Mexico isn’t even excepting the dollar anymore. And they are sending all the dollars back. And they are still mad why do you think. They just have bitterness towards Mexicans. So just leave them alone. We know the truth that yea they broke a law that anyone in desperate need will do. And at least they are working hard for their money. Don’t hate them cause they make money just to survive. Like I said they give all that money back. And Mexico is not excepting the dollar anymore so that money is staying here in the US. Haha and see how they are going to still post something against Mexicans. Cause I’m telling you they are the new world nazis except now they are trying to get rid of Mexicans.

@CharlotteThistleArcher 60 hospitals in California alone went bankrupt from 1993 to 2003 due mostly to Illegal Immigrant expenses. We, as a country, can’t be importing huge fiscal burdens.

These are from Center for Immigration Studies, an organization created by Harvard professor George Borjas, an immigrant himself.:

In a 2004 study, the Center for Immigration Studies estimated that illegal alien households used about $2,700 more services than they paid in taxes at the federal level only.

We also found that households headed by a legal Mexican immigrant created a net fiscal drain at the federal level of roughly $15,000, and for those with only a high school degree the drain was a little over $3,700.

A new Heritage Foundation study estimated the net fiscal drain at all levels of government created by households headed by high school dropout immigrants at about $20,000 a year.

FAIR estimates that illegal immigrants cost the U.S. Taxpayer over 113 Billion annually. These figures do not show the real costs because the cost to our nation is back-ended due to increasing medical costs as individuals age and due to repercussions at the voting booth as the illegal’s children reach voting age and elect socialist -minded politicians who enact socialist and confiscatory measures.

I have the perfect solution for people like AmericanRev and I_American and CharlotteThistle. You can sponsor each worker and you will be responsible for all costs and fiscal burdens created by that immigrant. Each child born to that family will result in you guaranteeing that you will be responsible for the current estimate of $222,000 expense required to raise the kid. You will pay all healthcare costs as well as additional educational expenses. If you are still around when that worker reaches the age of 65, you will be responsible for the $217,000 of medical costs created on average by that individual.

Educate yourself. You sound like self-righteous idiots who feels your entitled to the U.S. taxpayers money and that the U.S. taxpayer has a responsibility to subsidize your business at their expense. The U.S. taxpayer pays for all the fiscal burdens created by jerks like you.

Perhaps you pay the illegal $8/hr but the rest of our society is on the hook for over $100/hr of societal costs and fiscal burdens created by feeble minded jerks like you. Get your hand out of the U.S. citizens pockets.

Go to Center for Immigration Studies or NumbersUSA and learn about the facts.

The USA is 15 Trillion in debt — future liabilities aree over 62 trillion and over 90 trillion if you count Medicare and SS. Yet our GDP is only 15 trillion and we spend $3 for every $2 we earn as a nation. The fact is we are a bankrupt nation living on debt at the expense of our children’s futures.

Cause most illegal immigrants make there money then they still have expenses like rent, food and transportation. Most of them save up and end up spending it. So they give the money right back. So I don’t understand how they don’t contribute. They really don’t own any property. You guys should be mad at international businesses case they are the ones taking there businesses in other countries and they leave all that money to the workers over there. If they cannot get it they will either resort to automation (machines) or pursue even cheaper labor out of country. In either situtation US looses as no money gets spent/ circulated back into sales. Thats one benefit. if the children get educated you also get more since you will be able to tax them more over lifetime. Everyone pays taxes.

I am a second generation american of european immigrates who can through NY, I am also married to a new american (Mexican-American) and I watch him become a citizen. I have also lived inTexas my whole life and teach in a public school. I know the struggle many of my new in-laws face that are not citizens and/or not here legally. (many of my family members struggle trying to figure out the paperwork for becoming legal, can afford a lawyer) They know they are breaking laws, and they find ways around them by keeping low profiles. My husband and I have to pay our health care bills, medicare, SS (which will not be their for us) and then on top of it all our classrooms are overflowing with constant educational buget cuts. And out of all that I still don’t think they should all be kicked out. But I do think Ron Paul knows that, we need reform, we need to find ways to stop the “free ride” but open a door to gaining legal status. But not a free for all citizenship, and no more birth citizenship. There can be private groups, or churches that can sponsor these illegal people and help them apply to a legal status. If you are illegal and break a law you are out, police should be able to ask citizen status with out it be called profiling and no student visas to terrorism nation. I think Ron Paul has a good grasp on what needs to be done.

@cc063 UPDATE YOURSELF ON HISTORY, America has always blamed immigration for their lack of money, during world war one when they had the Chinese rail road workers deported some of them because they thought it was their fault. During the great depression they noticed that immigration was not the cause of needed money in the US it was the war that was costing a lot of money. Just count the billions that America sends to the war in Iraq. What are they fighting for!? Osama is dead, they are no longer benefitting from anything over there. And just so you know is OH SO LOYAL country that you defend so much, trained Osama bin ladden in the CIA for a few years, he was very good friends with the bush family, hmm.. To me all of this is suspicious. But really you need to learn to focus on important things. Think about this Ron Paul wants to make abortion illegal, wouldn’t that me more jobs lost for our fellow Americans? All those abortion doctors are jobless now, we as americans need to create a place of equal opportunity, and stop being so racist. Because when we go to other countries they welcome us and always greet with smiles.

Are illegals defined as criminals? I would have to say yes, because they steal what does not belong to them and other have to pay to compensate for what they have done.

@KBFreedom most doctors are ob/gyn so they do other things besides abortions. I 100% don’t agree with abortions, but if you think about it there are a lot of people that were raped and they didn’t choose to get pregnant. Also is this not the land of ” freedom” should we not have the choice to pick whether or not we want to have a baby. We already live in a very populated country we need less people which I believe is a global problem. And if we are not given a choice and no one was allowed to get an abortion imagine how many more people will be on welfare because it is expensive to raise a child and a lot of responsibility.

@Americanrev, I was unaware that OB GYN’s were the ones who performed abortions so thank you for that education. On that note, I_american said “Think about this Ron Paul wants to make abortion illegal, wouldn’t that me more jobs lost for our fellow Americans?”. Obviously, OB GYN’s have a lot more to their job descriptions other then abortions. How terrible would the job losses be when people are still having plenty of children and need OB GYN’s. I think your choice to having a baby is determined directly by the way you practice sex. Someone who was raped, or a mother whos life is in jeopardy due to pregnancy complications are justifiable reasons to have an abortion. Its unjustifiable when two people didnt want to use a condom and think abortion is the easy way out.

I see you a true historical scholar… but? First, the great depression ended because of the war.. it created new jobs… making weapons but jobs never the less. Second, Ron Paul said it is not the Presidents place to make abortions legal or not, just that he is pro-life (he is a doctor.. pro-life and saving lifes go hand in hand) I also don’t see how abortion has to do with being racist. Thrid, your whole Osama and Bush think has nothing to do with immigration or Ron Paul. Finally, SOME other countries do welcome Americans with smiles but not because we are american but because we are tourist (not illegal immargant) about to spend money in their country.

Doctors are not only trained in abortion procedures, all doctors are trained in general medicine and some move into speceialized fields such as specialized surgery they all will still be employed even if we no longer have abortions. Americans welcome immigrants enthusiastically, just not illegal immigrants.

Well cc0623 I guess from what you say you are a mature woman, even though I am young with no children, I have to say, that your bitterness should no have a reflection on this country. Your personal life should have NOTHING to do with AMERICA. My point was made from the beginning, I basically stated that America is a lie, besides I had just given an example, of why young Americans would opt out of living in Mexico. Its funny how America wants to keep everyone out of our country but we keep invading others countries, we keep picking wars, and killing innocent people. And about the stealing cars, robing banks…. Ha when do you hear a Mexican robes a bank? How many times do you walk in the street and see Mexican beggars. Never hun…. They are all white people. How many Mexican pimps have you seen in the streets? I should be embarrassed to say that about white people myself; but maybe since I am realistic and I see the TRUE AMERICA I dot really have anything to say about a few immigrants setting foot in this place that’s called THE LAND OF THE FREE!!!

The declaration of Independence states we are a free country, If that was true, and America was really the land of opportunity like every one says they would not be against people, every one picks on one race when it comes to immigration, and that is Hispanics; However immigrants are from all over the planet, not just Mexico or South America. If people are unemployed it is because since the recession is so bad they can not offer high pay for MacDonalds workers,I have a degree as a nurse and i know that I would not be working for 8.25 an hour at a hospital. This man Ron Paul might have a good debate for the so called “”Real Americans”. America should keep in mind that South Americans only have to cross a few states, Not an entire ocean like our ancestors. Any who, who are we to say that this is our country? If we Europeans took it from the native Americans. Was that not unconstitutional? taking the Natives woman, raping them and killing them?

This country cannot say that we are THE LAND OF THE FREE because everyone here is very limited to any resources that the country has to offer, and if people are not allowed to set foot here in America without a Visa or Citizenship then why do Americans have a right to set foot in other Countries that are not theirs? Like the 18 year old’s that go to Mexico to party in California, just because the legal drinking age is 18 over there. Ron Paul should take a better look at this country and focus on the things that really matter not on foolish things such as immigration.

The government in America does not make sense, We say one thing and we do another, everything should be fair, and if you wish for a good paying job, make sure that you have a GOOD EDUCATION. Individuals say that they can’t afford education, that’s absurd. EDUCATION IS NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS BEING IGNORANT.

Yes we Americans do tend to pick on one race when it comes to immigration; however, statistics do show that Hispanics are much higher when it comes to ILLEGAL immigration. Our ancestors have nothing to do with ILLEGAL immigration they got here by taking the time to do it legally, unless you are one of the lucky people who were granted citizenship just because you were born in the U.S.A. We can step foot in other countries because we use this thing called a passport to show that we can LEGALLY be in that country, unlike ILLEGAL immigrants.

Native Americans have nothing to do with immigration they did not have a nation before the English came to the Americas, so the English were not ILLEGALLY immigrating to the Americas. Get your ideas into shape and then you can step into the field of promoting education. Santorum 2012

Who in their right mind move away from family. Its because of better opportunities even then they many of them plan on moving back. If you should know we US companies have sweatshops all around the world. Basically all the clothes you wear. IF it doesnt say fair trade it come out of sweat shops. well we dont shut them down because if leaves them no choice but to slavery starvation or prostitution. Their families depend on them. Same applies when one moves from rural farming to a major cities.

The problem is that even if we wanted to pay fair you wouldn’t be able to afford to. The business owner reaps or has barely enough to make it through. It gives an competitive edge on staying in business while avoiding bankruptcy.

@Americanrev@guest They already know it dipshit! Our guv has already let them all know last summer when he passed HB116 against the wishes of the Utah citizens! It was national news!!! Our state has been FLOODED with illegals since the announcement came out.

The upside of this is the guv and AG are on their way out and the Utah citizens are making sure of this. So once they are gone and all the traitors in our congress is voted out we will be repealing HB116, the instate driver card and any other incentives for illegal immigrants that we can.

We actually caught our own state government giving fake social security numbers to illegals to make sure they got maternity care for their anchor babies. And, the only reason they got caught is because one of the SS numbers they gave out belong to a sheriff back east and he tracked it here to a maternity clinic supported by the state. All hell broke loose then!!!!

@cc0623 @guest Ok cruelness b*tch…. I’m grad to see people actually trying to help people. I am sorry for the SS… But there are programs that protect people from that type of fraud. But what can u expect when people ask to be part of society and they are not given an opportunity they they will take that SS how ever way they can. So in order to avoid this why not give those that deserve it a SS # and avoid this conflict.

@Americanrev@guest You make me sick!!!! You advocate theft and if your precious illegals cannot get what they want by theft then we should hand them a social security number on a silver platter. You want the US Taxpayers to bend over, smile and take it up the backside so your pet people do not have to pay for their poor choices and criminal actions.

Well they had a country to live in and raise their children and it was their envy and greed that brought them silently into another country to TAKE what was not theirs!

You and people that think like you are a part of the problem and it would not surprise me if you were not a member of La Raza!

@cc0623 @guest There you go calling my ” people” pets. They are more human than you, you b***h. Btw if they get SS they will be part of the tax payers too you dumb**s… You still have not answered my question… What are all these people suppose to go or do if they don’t have a place to live besides here?? I’m not talking about to ones that just came here I’m talking about the ones that grew up here . Do you want them to just leave the country and be homeless or what. See how cruel you are. You have no compassion for people outside your nationality. I’m American I always have claimed to be American with Mexican ancestors. And I would not be here getting the education I have gotten if it wasn’t for my parents that came here illegally and thanks to the amnesty they got to be citizens and very proud to be part of the American culture. They haven’t even got back to Mexico since then. I never claimed to be part or ” la raza” because I’m american not Mexican. And I’m not here trying to protect Mexicans I’m here to open your eyes and to show you that not all illegals are bathat includes from other countries not just Mexico. I you checked I never even specified Mexicans anywhere. I do live among them and I was able to get out of homelessness by learning from them. Not stealing or committing fraud but by working hard. Now I’m back at school on my senior year. I know there is a lot of Mexicans and gangsters that give a bad image and I’m not here to protect them cause they don’t take advantage of the American dream and f**k them. I just want those who work had and actually want to be part of this country to get the chance my parents and I got. My parents work hard and own 3 houses and are proud citizens. I will protect all citizens that work hard even you. But you need to realize that this government also lies and steals and cheat the system “legally and illegally” I just want you to open your eyes and see that. Even Ron Paul sees that and he can be great but this is the only thing I don’t agree on. I hope you can realize this too.

Go back to Mexico.. Where they are suppose to be.

How is it any of our problems that their parents are criminals?
Their parents made a mistake, and if need be, they’ll have to pay for it.
We as Americans made the mistake of electing Obama(well I didn’t), and guess who’s children are gonna have to pay for it? It’s life.

@Americanrev@guest If they get a social security number? You act like that is the golden ticket to solving all their problems. If they can just get the golden ticket, reminds me of charlie from charlie and the chocolate factory. Ever watch that movie? A family living in severe poverty was miraculously saved because Charlie got the golden ticket. And that is the crux of your problem here.

So now all this makes sense. Your from a family of Illegals and you want them to enjoy the freedoms you have as a US Citizen.

They have family they can return to and if the don’t they can start over just like I did! I do not care what nationality they are, what religion they are, or what color skin they have. What I do care about is they took what was not theirs to take. THEY TOOK! from American Citizens, THEY TOOK from immigrants that want a better life too!

You cannot get that through your thick skull! YOU think it is okay TO TAKE FROM OTHERS because YOU FEEL it is YOUR RIGHT! And, because your parents did it then why shouldn’t others do it too! AM I RIGHT!

I am fully aware of the flaws of my govt. I do not need you to point it out to me.

@cc0623 @guest yes I have seen it. It really doesn’t relate at all. But anyways I never said it was going to solve their problem I’m just fixing your problem cause you keep saying they don’t pay taxes and just to let you know some do pay taxes. Not all but some. Well this will in some way require them to pay there taxes. See how you don’t have morals. You want somebody to start over? Why? I really do think you have some bitterness. What are they taking they work hard for what they make they just get paid in us currency. So they go to hospital, what now they are not allowed to get sick?? It’s something out of their control stop being so angry sorry they can’t be 100% healthy. Now they use up their welfare well they don’t get none here in California and there are more illegals here than in Utah. Go ahead and take those benefits ways they can work that’s what they came here to do. And even if they do send money to Mexico, it is hard to exchange it into pesos or to use it. Not that many places are excepting the dollar any
More. Like I said the economy is gone to shit and we are not going to be able to fix it. So in all honesty it don’t matter. And yes I did come from a family that WERE ILLEGAL and I’m proud because it made me see how it was like and see people like you have no heart and compassion for others do F***k you. Don’t ever say u have morals cause you don’t. You probably never been discriminated on but I have. I don’t hold no bitterness like you. I know the truth and I know that all these illegal Hispanics ( at least most) are just here for a better life and I grow up Christian and learned about compassion and love for others. I know I’m not perfect and I know this world is not perfect but I will fight for the rights of men and I will stand up for those who can’t and I’m willing to argue with you until you get tired of listening to me because unless you are in there position you will never understand. You are so caught up in the media and brainwashed and on top of that you have no morals plus you are bitter about something. What ever the case may be these illegal deserve to be here and get the same opportunity as you an me. If you don’t like it so what we will still be here and I will stand by them cause they work hard just to survive and if I was in there shoes I will be here too. Probably in your face laughing taking the same benifits as you just to get you mad. And I hope you do get mad I would like to see what stupid s**t you have to say!!!!

@Dan las vegas Just incase you didn’t know we are the second highest country on taxing businesses. Jobs are low because the businesses are closing down or they are taking it to a different country.. Teachers are losing their jobs, I didn’t know that illegals were becoming teachers and administrators… What jobs are you taking about. I didn’t know there was a high demand on selling oranges in the corner to make less than minimum. I didnt know was a high demand on side jobs to help cut the grass or help people move out. What jobs are you talking about. See you are blaming immigrants exactly how the media tells you to. Well explain the exonomics since it seems that you know them.

People need to look at why immigration is happening. No one wants to leave their home country for the the “land of opportunity”; they have no other choice. There are more factors including the drug war (foreign companies owning campesino lands). We send mass amounts of money to Latin America, and yet again these governments are selectively helping their people if anything. I agree with enforcing immigration laws, but we also need to reevaluate our relationships with the leaders in various Latin countries. Just think we send our money to Mexico where more than half of the police are affiliated with the cartels. If a child is born on US soil then he/she is a citizen or else we all need to get off this land. Don’t forget that these illegals are doing what our ancestors did to the first nations of the Americas. These people are human beings too and both men and women are raped murdered and just to get over here this should say something. Why does crime happen in poor communities, because it is twice as hard to get ahead as one from a middle class home. I am a hard ass worker go getter, and my sister is buying her second home very nice (she and my parents were homeless). I want to have the opportunity to own property and save and manifest the fruits of my labor, but it is hard when you are doing it on your own. Trust that I know the sense of accomplishment will be rewarding, but there are times when quick black market cash is enticing and easier to work around a school schedule than being a manager at a retail store work 40+ hours and attend a university. You guys are right, I really wouldn’t want to pay for some strangers welfare, but don’t judge a person before walking in their shoes. My ancestry is American-Mexican my goal is to give back to my community that means the people who want to better themselves and the lives of the community no matter where they came from.

@DreaCut off all foreign aid to all countries. Cut off all sanctions to all countries. Cut off all entitlement programs. Remove all troops from all countries. Stop Government waste. Stop Government spending. The land of equal opportunity. I receive no special benefits and don’t ask for any. I’ve been poor. I’ve been broke. Work. If you can’t find work, make work. The government doesn’t owe anyone a living. The more dependent we become on the government. The more this country will fail. Make it quicker for legal immigrants to come in to America. They work hard and will only create more jobs legally. Mexican Americans are some of the best business owners and some of the hardest workers. So let them be legally.
