Remember the media’s hysterical outcry when Obama’s passport details were illegally accessed during the Democratic primaries in 2008? The fact that the privacy of regular citizens is routinely subjected to much more serious abuse was conveniently ignored.
The “Patriot” Act, which was supposed to fight terrorism, allows the government to snoop on average citizens, obtain nationwide search warrants without local judicial oversight, monitor private Internet usage (that includes our emails and surfing habits), search our homes and offices without our knowledge, and force libraries and bookstores to turn over our reading records.
There is no financial privacy left in this country. Banks have become a one stop shop for overzealous government snoops and other privacy violators, and we’ve been working overtime to impose our paranoid “Know Your Customer” standards on the rest of the world.
Medical privacy has deteriorated in a similar manner. Our medical records are being transcribed in India and insurance companies and other entities have the right to access our medical history any time they choose.

I think that (Ron Paul and Alan Keys)would make a good pair as a running candidacy if they could work together as they share the common ingredients in the recipie of understanding true constitutionally based liberty [freedom].
There is a characteristic which I believe most of those who are in charge of the World’s Economy and Political Power share. It’s good to be aware of what you’re dealing with.

Psychopaths. We ordinarily remove these people and put them in prison to undergo psychiatric treatment after diagnosis because they are a threat to society. We call them leaders today. ha!

It may not be too late to correct this situation. Article 2, Section 2 of the Constitution says:
“He [the President] shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur….”
Consider this simple amendment:
“He [the President] shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present [three-fourths of the state legislatures] concur….”
Think of this in relation to the Copenhagen Treaty

NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!
Last night I watch Jay Rockefeller conduct the first congressional hearing on cell phone usage in the car. He doesn’t really want it to go through congress and the usual procedure for creating a law. Even he is asserting himself like a dictator, disregard for the constitution. He wants a bill to pass in a hurry (why?), saying we don’t have time to wait (why?) to stop the deaths that occur by distracted drivers (really?).
This is how it begins, with an appeal that sounds somewhat acceptable and reasonable. But what he is really after is moving towards the police state so cops will have the legal right to and be focused on overly surveiling and monitoring the public, charging them like a drunk driver. Who DOESN’T have a cell phone?!!
There is a law on the books now that Obama signed. You can actually be accused for crimes you have not yet committed. That means they can make up stuff. (We should use this one on him and the rest of them now, for devastating the economy of America) All these laws are going to add up to one big police state.
Rockefeller is one of the elite. They are not concerned about our welfare. Their concerns are control over others, money.
Another option he suggested and he really liked this one… is to have technology developed to interfere with the cell phone transmission so your cell phone would be virtually useless while inside your car. No one would be able to dial 911 if they needed to. No one would be able to call anyone for any emergency reason, or if it was unsafe for them to get out of their car for some reason. Women would especially not like access to their phones in case of an emergecy or threat. I got my cell phoneprimarily for emergency reasons!
I’m thinking that if they did have a round up, and we were driving out and about, stopped at a check point…we would not be able to let family members know what was happening.
They only lightly talked about the distraction of GPS systems, TVs in cars, putting on makeup, eating a hamburger. How about CDs, changing the radio station, a pretty girl on the street? We might end up wearing burkas! Are we going to make all those distractions illegal too?
This guy Rockefeller is obsessed with controlling other people. Some states have already moved on making cell phone usage in cars illegal. Rockefeller said he doesn’t care about overstepping State rights.

I’m an American citizen living in the United Kingdom, and if you think that the warnings about a ‘big brother’ state are exaggerated, think again. In the last couple of years (all in the interests of catching terrorists, of course), the UK government has authorised extending the use of covert surveillance to all public servants. This means that the local councillor who lives 9 doors down from me is allowed to wiretap my telephone, the BBC can place tracking devices on my vehicle, the local ambulance service can inspect my trash, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society read my emails, etc. I just read a statistic that said that 1 in 78 individuals in this country has been subjected to surveillance. We have about 60 million people here and 2 million CCTV cameras. We have license plate recognition software so our movements around the country can be tracked by computers. I live in a Big Brother state already – please, PLEASE, don’t let this happen to the United States of America. I beg you all to write your senators and demand the repeal of the Patriot Act! It’s been my experience that there are only two kinds of people in this world. There are those of us who take pleasure in seeing the people around us happy and successful, and then there are those who take pleasure in inflicting every ounce of strife and misery they can on those around them because doing so makes them feel powerful.
Unfortunately, the former constitute about 30 % of the worlds population and the latter the remaining 70 %, so those like you and me seldom win. We do have the intelligence however, so if enough of us work together toward our common objectives, then it is possible that on few and rare occasions, the 70 % may be overcome.

You cannot go by sight when making a judgment call.
People tend to compartmentalize issues when really they are all parts of bringing down a government to implement a new order. The same people who bring down the financial system are the same ones doing everything else. They each have their “specialty”. Obama is the salesman, the friendly image to make people think he is their savior, hope and someone they can trust.
On the campaign trail, he said “we the people” would be on the same plan as congress. He hedged that question in a white house meeting aired today with Michael Smerconish, radio host. There probably will be a youtube video. Never said, Oh, I did say that didn’t I? or that it is still a possibility. He wants these plans separate so congress is protected from and not subjected to what’s wrong in his healthcare plan for “we the people”.
I will be posting! What I hope to hear soon is that Jane Bergermeister’s case has gone forward and the guilty are in jail BEFORE anything bad happens! Someone has to be a hero in the court system. There are just too many crazy people making decisions for the rest of us. They need some serious psychological treatment for a very long time. Discriminating Forefathers
If there is a stain on the record of our forefathers, a dark hour in the earliest history of the American Colonies, it would be the hanging of the “witches” at Salem.
But that was a pinpoint in place and time–a brief lapse into hysteria. For the most part, our seventeenth century colonists were scrupulously fair, even in fear.
There was one group of people they feared with reason–a society, you might say, whose often insidious craft had claimed a multitude of victims, ever since the middle ages in Europe.
One group of people were hated and feared from Massachusetts Bay to Virginia. The Magistrate would not burn them at the stake although surely a great many of the colonists would have surely recommended such a solution. Our forefathers were baffled by them.
In the first place where did they come from? Of all who sailed from England to Plymouth in 1620, not one of them was aboard.
“VERMIN.” That’s what the Colonist called them. Parasites who fed on human misery, spreading sorrow and confusion wherever they went.
“DESTRUCTIVE.” they were called.
And still they were permitted co-existence with the colonists. For a while, anyway. Of course there were colonial laws prohibiting the practice of their infamous craft. Somehow a way was always found around all those laws.
In 1641, Massachusetts Bay colony took a novel approach to the problem. The governors attempted to starve the “devils” out of existence through economic exclusion. They were denied wages, and thereby it was hoped that they would perish.
Four years later, Virginia followed the example of Massachusettes Bay and for a while it seemed that the dilema had been resolved.
It had not, somehow the parasites managed to survive, and the mere nearness of them made the colonists skin crawl.
In 1658, in Virginia, the final solution: Banishment; EXILE. The “treacherous ones” were cast out of the colony. At last, after decades of enduring the psychological gloom, the sun came out and the birds sang, and all was right with the world. And the elation continued for a generation.
I’m not sure why the Virginians eventually allowed the outcasts to return, but they did. In 1680 after twenty-two years, the despised ones were readmitted to the colony on the condition that they be subjected to the strictest surveillance.
How soon we forget!!
For indeed over the next half century or so, the imposed restrictions were slowly, quietly swept away. And those whose treachery had been feared since the middle ages ultimatly took their place in society.
You see, the “vermin” that once infested colonial America, the parasites who prayed on the misfortunes of their neighbors until finally they were officially banished from Virginia, those dreaded, despised, outcasts masters of confusion were lawyers.
