Good start Madcow – Believe Me, I never heard Ron Paul say that he is perfect, we certainly don’t know the man’s motives. We voted for Bush, oh boy! That was regretful!!! We voted for Obama, Help!!!!!!! An irreparable disaster weren’t it not for Ron Paul; we donot know the future. Jesus’ salesmen $$$ another style of Spiritual Federal Reserve they don’t know the future no matter how anointed they sell you on. Now you may be correct about Ron Paul as many were correct about Bush and Obama, BUT, Ron Paul is the first human in politics who promises us that we will have to be a responsible self-sufficient country through the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. Have you examine the simplicity of the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution? It is more understandable through its simple language then the rims of paperwork in complicated legaleez. Madcow – I hate to say this, but the choice of leadership has thus far been a crap shoot, and by the few meger chips that we got left to play; it’s about time this country deserves a lucky hand. PRAY & VOTE!!!!

Bookends, I can see that you put a premium on Ron Paul’s apparent honesty, and I value that too. And the idea of “going back to basics” may seem appealing in this complicated world. But, when Paul suggests nonsense like eliminating the Fed, it shows a blatant lack of understanding of monetary policy and its vital role in our world.

We have certain fundamental problems in this country. We have lost over 50 million jobs overseas in the past 30 years and there has been a massive shift in wealth to the upper classes due to politicians pandering to the upper classes during the same period. As long as politicians are forced to spend most of their time campaigning due to short reelection cycles, and are forced to return favors to those who contributed the most to those campaigns, we will continue along the bad road we have taken. These problems have very little to do with monetary policy and the Federal Reserve system and focusing on that is distracting to the important issues we face today. It is also fundamentally wrong.

Bush was truly a disaster, Obama clearly didn’t stand up to the wingnuts on the right, but going back to some sort of Libertarian vision doesn’t take us where we need to go. Federal government became an important part in our lives because it was able to accomplish what could not be done on the state level. Many of the basic things we look to today such as environmental protection and much of our social safety net are not effective at the state or local level. Libertarians just don’t get that and it breaks my heart that they cannot see this.

Anyway, I do object strongly to Paul’s understanding of economics. I wouldn’t try to play doctor if I only knew first-aid. But he clearly doesn’t even understand the most basic principles of monetary and fiscal policy, which means that he doesn’t even know the first-aid level. I wish that there was a requirement that each politician take at least two courses in both macro and micro economics. They are setting important economic policies for the country and when they don’t even have even an elementary college-level understanding, they are doing us all a disservice. It is disgraceful, actually, and Ron Paul is a national disgrace.

@w1945@Bookends Actually, w1945, Paul knows NOTHING about economics. And, from the sound of it, I can see that you have never taken an economics course either. Please feel free to stop by the library someday.

I admire Ron Paul’s apparent honesty, but he clearly wants to take us into some sort of fantasy world of the 1700’s. He has no knowledge of economics and a pathetic knowledge of history. The fact that he is even being considered for ANY national office is a disgraceful reflection of the degradation of education in this country. Ron Paul: go away. Please!

MarkDowning – you are absolutely correct in your thinking we are under martial law, and yes, we do have the Patriot Act law; but God is still in charge. Remember Jonah, God called him to go to Nineveh and tell the people there to repent or else God will destroy everything and everyone there for their sins – and yes, they all truly repented from their sins, we have to do the same if we want Christ’s merciful grace to save all of us. If you go to any courthouse you will see an American flag and sown around the flag you will see yellow trimmings that represents that we are under martial law; not too many people know that. You are definitely alert. Keeping praying, if we don’t straighten our act we are surely going to get destroy.

Pardon my french , but dont f….. with me I have been spending the last 12 hours fighting for Ron Paul…even though I dont believe in everything he believes….I believe in him…… I have most likely posted 1,000 comments to promote his Black this out . com…..and him. I think they might appreciate that in his camp…..I believe what the media is doing in totally wrong, and I stand by Ron Paul on this one.

I do not want to be a joy killer. i love th eman too. I’m on your side too. But the fact of th ematter is that the war is being waged digitally and the state owns the media, the elite rule book has pulled out all the stops. They know he can win he is dangerous. The federal GOVERNMENT and the big banks are not going to allow him to be in the game. In fact I suspet they will likely make a new law that what he espouses is tanamount to insurrection seeing as how we gave uyp our rights back in 2006 when Mr Bush signed into law. He passed successfully th ePatriot act and the homeland security act. Have you ever read those laws, it wil shock you what we are on for. Please check out prison planet.net and infowars.com it”s way worse than you think. WAY worse….The laws have beenon the books since then but it started way before this last cenutry. Ron is not all that optomiwstic abot his chances, just ask him Sure the guy is a winner, but he just embarrasses the republican and the democrat ticket alike…..Not because hs is trying to but he has told us many many things we should do.

Please check out infowars.com, prisonplanet.net and lok up alex jones channel on your tube. We did not hold our congressmen and senators accountable to do ther jobs. I=t happened right under our noses, the only thing we can do is to black out the mainstream media, here we are in the worst timeof our lives as a nation.

The Apostle Paul handled this argument a long time AGO. # 1 God Gave you your inalienable rights, when you were born into this world. # 2 Godsays you were born in sin. in other words you coul dnever live a sinless life after the fall of mankind. # 3 God’s instructions to Adam and Ever were to “Go forth, be fruitful (productive) and multiply. (He doesn’t mean b”do your math”) One of th ecurses wityh the fal is that man wiul work al thye days of his life (pretty much looks like that is going to get harder an dharder to do if the feds have their way. Given the climate I truely beleive we will not even have an election. Obamas is not our poresidnet, he never was. You simply canot be a presidnt in this country unless you can prove you were born here, which he can’t, either way I’ll vote fo rRonPaul but accodring to what I know about my bible, we are already under martial law. president Bush in 20o6 tok some of our riughyts away whe he created the Homeland Security Act and the Partriot Act. whether oyu beleive it or not there wil be nbo fed accounting, ‘Either poolitcal party already knows there is already martial law, the insied pudits and politicians knpow trhis already.. In fact Geroge Bush 1 anounced it publicly when he was in office. Know thius You ALL need to study your bible, your founding fatherws warned us and we did not take heed.

loveisintevervything – I took serious your comments, and true as they are for all the other candidates who I and my family have studied and regard as politicians wanting more government in everything. I have listened once again to everything I can find about Ron Paul, and he wants government out of everything and the individual to make the decisions, Ron Paul encourages the states to make their own laws; but, if you would look and listen you will see Ron Paul wants no government to govern the individual. I invite you to look over Ron Paul carefully and if what I say has a flaw, please, give me the specific place where I might be inform of Ron Paul wanting more government. Thank you ever so much

Through the centuries women have always been told what to do with their bodies and they were not allowed to vote. The point I am making is women can vote now, and they vote in numbers. A lot of women voters are be pushed aside because they are pro-choice. and they believe no government should get involved in their bodies and decisions they make with them. People can be pro-choice and not believe in abortions themselves , but they believe it is up to women themselves to make that decision, not any government. He should not be making this an issue at all, he could of won the election without going down that road. You must remember there are men and brothers and fathers out there voting also who have had wifes, sisters, and mothers who have had to make decisions on their bodies and they dont want them to be made second class citizens by any person running for office. They vote also. Like I said Ron Paul would of made a great president but he is insulting a lot of voters right now, who actually believed in him and his revolution.

loveisinteverything – in regards to pro-choice not knowing whether or not you should vote for Ron Paul – see really what is happening to the American people, we will be enslave and the Constitution of the United States will be taken away – no bill of rights- we will be slaughter. I have heard Ron Paul speak he said that each state not the government will make up their own mind whether they should have pro-choice or pro-life. Go back and see for yourself. As for myself and my family we will vote for Ron Paul – Look you really have no choice because the other candidates are bought off from the banksters, globalist elitess, wall street, & especially the IRS. WE HAVE TO FIGHT BACK!!!!

I really believe most of what Ron Paul believes, but I believe no government should tell any woman what to do with her body…right or wrong.. I am conflicted by the health care issue. Lets say a woman want to terminate a pregnancy. She cant because now it is against the law. Ok she has no money or health insurance, she doesnt go to church like a lot of Americans. Her baby is born 3 months early. What happens they just let the baby suffer and die because parents didnt make right choice and it gets no medical care? A lot of people that were very excited about Ron Paul are questioning these issues. I an others were thinking seriously about voting for him. I have the feeling these two issues are going to be the downfall of him getting elected. And it is a shame because he would of made a great president.

Then murder your baby and go straight to hell. Yea I know that is tough talk, but that is exactly what god will give you if you do not repent. @loveisnteverything

Honest money is a difficult issue considering the huge amount of dollars already issued. Excessive inflation which seems apparent will only make the problem worse. It seems to me that if the dollar was tied to gold in fort knox all contracts and agreements will have to be rewritten to reflect a smaller money supply. Ron Paul is the man to be at the helm of trying to solve this problem.

    Ron Paul for President !!!

66% are run aways on drugs. i have no heart for those who want something for nothing. the taxpayers always pays. and although i am tough on rich most got there by hard work and are caught in a crisis that they have to get us out. one thing they will learn that working and showing little for it is what the average man does everyday till retirement or company downsizes. employees have buy out power to stop that. maybe owner fired and not allowed to start new business for 10 years. show we mean business. Tina would you like minority to rule. the majority would take you on a one way cruise.
