Global Warming

Global Warming has come to be a hotly contested issue. Are there valid concerns that we should consider, or is Global Warming just the latest manufactured crisis to cash in on the public’s fears and generate new support for global governance, global carbon taxes and other oppressive policies?

On November 20, 2008 Ron Paul said in a New York Times / Freakonomics interview:

“I try to look at global warming the same way I look at all other serious issues: as objectively and open-minded as possible. There is clear evidence that the temperatures in some parts of the globe are rising, but temperatures are cooling in other parts. The average surface temperature had risen for several decades, but it fell back substantially in the past few years.

Clearly there is something afoot. The question is: Is the upward fluctuation in temperature man-made or part of a natural phenomenon. Geological records indicate that in the 12th century, Earth experienced a warming period during which Greenland was literally green and served as rich farmland for Nordic peoples. There was then a mini ice age, the polar ice caps grew, and the once-thriving population of Greenland was virtually wiped out.

It is clear that the earth experiences natural cycles in temperature. However, science shows that human activity probably does play a role in stimulating the current fluctuations.

The question is: how much? Rather than taking a “sky is falling” approach, I think there are common-sense steps we can take to cut emissions and preserve our environment. I am, after all, a conservative and seek to conserve not just American traditions and our Constitution, but our natural resources as well.

We should start by ending subsidies for oil companies. And we should never, ever go to war to protect our perceived oil interests. If oil were allowed to rise to its natural price, there would be tremendous market incentives to find alternate sources of energy. At the same time, I can’t support government “investment” in alternative sources either, for this is not investment at all.

Government cannot invest, it can only redistribute resources. Just look at the mess government created with ethanol. Congress decided that we needed more biofuels, and the best choice was ethanol from corn. So we subsidized corn farmers at the expense of others, and investment in other types of renewables was crowded out.

Now it turns out that corn ethanol is inefficient, and it actually takes more energy to produce the fuel than you get when you burn it. The most efficient ethanol may come from hemp, but hemp production is illegal and there has been little progress on hemp ethanol. And on top of that, corn is now going into our gas tanks instead of onto our tables or feeding our livestock or dairy cows; so food prices have been driven up. This is what happens when we allow government to make choices instead of the market; I hope we avoid those mistakes moving forward.”

After additional consideration and analysis and shortly before the release of the Climategate emails in late 2009, Ron Paul identified the artificial panic around Global Warming as an elaborate hoax:

“The greatest hoax I think that has been around for many, many years if not hundreds of years has been this hoax on […] global warming.” – Ron Paul on Fox Business, Nov. 4, 2009

“[The Copenhagen treaty on climate change] can’t help the economy. It has to hurt the economy and it can’t possibly help the environment because they’re totally off track on that. It might turn out to be one of the biggest hoaxes of all history, this whole global warming terrorism that they’ve been using, but we’ll have to just wait and see, but it cannot be helpful. It’s going to hurt everybody.” – Ron Paul on the Alex Jones Show, Nov. 5, 2009

Global warming or Global Governance: If you were to ask ten people on the street if mankind was causing global warming, at least eight out of ten would say yes. After all, Al Gore’s Inconvenient Truth allegedly provides incontrovertible evidence that this is the case. Both presidential candidates are committed to passing economically devastating legislation that will do little to nothing to stop global warming. Contrary to what is heard in the media, however, there is overwhelming evidence that the warming we are experiencing is natural, with maybe a small amount contributed by man’s activities. Nor is there any scientific consensus. 31,000 scientists have signed a petition stating there is “no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide is causing…catastrophic” warming. The debate is still raging within the scientific community. In this DVD, Sovereignty International has put together interviews of respected climate scientists and biologists from numerous sources who explain, step by step, why Al Gore and the global warming alarmists are incorrect. In some cases, blatantly so. The dvd global warming or global governance also provides evidence that the global warming agenda is being funded with tens of billions of dollars as a mechanism to create global governance.Hear from congressmen, experts and even well-known news broadcasters how global governance puts global institutions, especially the United Nations (UN), that are not accountable to the American people in control of every aspect of our economy. The skyrocketing gas and food prices today are a direct result of this agenda: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_u81qXOYfKg

    • Cal

That “petition” is a massive fraud filled with forged signatures, duplicate signatures and signatures of fictional characters. Even the non-forged signatures are largely from non-scientists. The only standard to be recognized as a “scientist” when signing the thing is to claim to have a college degree in any field other than liberal arts. Nor is there any verification that signatories of the petition actually meet even that meager standard. Go to their website and sign the petition claiming to have a PhD in the field of your choice, and your name will appear with that alleged credential even if in reality you’re a high school dropout who’s never so much as set foot on a college campus.

In total, only about 200 out of those 31,000 signatures are actual scientists who have legitimately studied the subject of climatology. So no, there is not still an ongoing debate in the scientific community about the reality of global warming.

The Myth of Nuclear ‘Waste’ by Marjorie Mazel Hecht. There’s no such thing as nuclear waste! This nasty term was invented just to stop the development of civilian nuclear power. The spent fuel from nuclear power plants is actually a precious resource: About 96% of it can be recycled into new nuclear fuel. No other fuel source can make this claim—wood, coal, oil, or gas. Once these fuels are burned, all that’s left is some ash or airborne pollutant by-products, which nuclear energy does not produce. Thus, nuclear is a truly renewable resource. Furthermore, unlike wind, solar, and other so-called alternative energy sources, a nuclear fission reactor (the fast reactor or breeder reactor) can actually create more fuel than it uses up: http://larouchepac.com/node/14724

    • cj3bm2hb

You have no clue what you are talking about. You think the fissile material in spent nuclear fuel will just cleanly jump out of those fuel assemblies and right back into a reactor ready to generate more megawatts of electricity without any impact on the environment? Check into what is involved in reprocessing spent nuclear fuel and you’ll find out there will be a great deal of both chemical and radiological waste generated before it can be put back into a reactor. Yes there is the breeder reactor but the fuel still needs to be chemically reprocessed. Also, do you have any idea how screaming hot (radiologically speaking) a spent nuclear fuel assembly is? Get the full picture before you babble on about how nuclear waste doesn’t exist. Oh by the way, I’m a nuclear engineer by degree and by working in the industry for 15 years so I do have a significant measure of knowledge about this.

      • d

What it takes to generate 9 million Megawatt-Hours of electricity per year: 1 1154 Megawatt Nuclar Power Plant 90 percent capacity factor, constant output, offline for refueling, maintenance 60 year life span or 2077 2 Megawatt Wind turbines 25 percent capacity factor, variable output based on weather conditions, 20 year life span. Nuclear requires massive up-front investment, but once the plant is in place, it delivers low-cost electricity, consistently, for decades, so that the overall life-time electricity cost is highly competitive, even after factoring in the costs of waste disposal and subsequent decommissioning. Anti-nuclear campaigners say “No nuclear
power station has ever been built without subsidy”. This is not true — for
example nuclear plants have been built commercially in Finland. Some
politicians have grudgingly accepted the need for nuclear but insisted there should be no public subsidy. I support free markets and prefers to avoid subsidies —but this must apply to all technologies not just nuclear. No wind turbines would have been built in the UK without massive subsidies. In
fact they’re not farming wind at all — they’re farming tax-payer subsidies. Techniques for long-term storage of nuclear waste in appropriate geological structures are well developed, for example in Olkiluoto,
Finland. This is no more than a technical problem with well-understood
solutions. The British Geological Survey advises that suitable safe sites exist in the UK. Future reactor developments (fast-breeder reactors) will dramatically reduce amounts of high-level waste. Anti-nuclear lobbyists love to argue that the waste will remain dangerous for tens of thousands of years. But our descendants in a few hundred years will have made vast technical strides that we cannot even imagine today. They may be
mining our waste deposits, safely, to reuse in new ways. Thorium as a fuel for nuclear fission has several potential advantages: it produces less waste suitable for weapons, and thorium is plentiful. Nuclear fusion, the creation of helium and energy from hydrogen, offers the potential for very clean nuclear energy in unlimited quantities.

        • Shannon

just wondering if it’s still “low cost” when we consider the damage done by leaking of waste. Just look at what’s been going on with the Fukushima plant!

          • jhon

In two and one half years, Tokyo Electric Power Company has done the impressive work of disassembling eighty percent of the four bombed nuclear reactors at the Daiichi Nuclear Power Station in Fukushima prefecture. Three reactors are totally shutdown with all fuel rods removed and reactor building number four, the building with the largest bomb damage, did not go into meltdown. Piece by piece, the core is being chopped and hauled away for safe disposal.

The Japanese are most likely using remote manipulators and robots to pull the core apart under an air tight seal. There have been very few factual reports of the marvellous work they have been doing as the western media has misrepresented every aspect of the attack on Japan since March 11 2011.

The Tokyo Electric Power Company has been blamed for the ‘failure’ by not safeguarding the reactors for earthquakes and tsunamis. The structures were not damaged by the earthquakes, and the planted ocean sea floor Hydrogen Bombs did not send a large enough surge of water to inundate the complex. There was no M9.0 earthquake. The bombs which exploded within the buildings were not placed there by Tokyo Electric Power Company. In no way can they be blamed.

The conspiracy arrayed against Japan and nuclear power is centred on nations and corporations pushing natural gas turbine electric power plants. These are the same people who have prevented the development of Free Energy in its many forms. They want to control energy production and control all nations through their control of all levers of power. The greedy do not want to release their hold of patents allowing families to generate all the power they need within their own homes. All the power grids would be taken down and people would be free of the centrally controlled money machine. Energy Independence!

It would be best to end the use of nuclear reactors and the threat of A-Bombs and H-Bombs. It would be best to make the changeover to alternative energy voluntary and not coerce people into another regime of power generation.

I am praising the Tokyo Electric Power Company because they are showing how to safely dismantle large reactors quickly and efficiently. It is challenging to disassemble a demolished reactor core without going into meltdown, but they are doing so.

There has been NO MELTDOWN at any of the four reactors.

Somehow in the midst of the attack, the Tokyo Electric Power Company decided to “scram” at least two of their operating reactors. It is likely there were no fuel rods in two of reactors prior to the attack. To scram any reactor is a costly undertaking of pumping tons of light molten metals into the core to absorb the neutrons creating the sustained nuclear fission. The reactor core is ruined, but there is zero chance of any meltdown. The Tokyo Electric Power Company did the right thing.

Jim Stone on May 28 2011 wrote of a sophisticated virus computer program over-riding the normal operating system and sending the cooling systems into disarray and setting the stage for a meltdown when the bombs exploded. But there was no meltdown. Some engineer decided to hit the scram button therefore the computer virus was a non-issue. Jim Stone writes nothing about the emergency stoppage of the nuclear chain reaction.

TEPCO has hundreds of water tanks containing much of the contaminated water from the area around the reactors. Some water has seeped into the ocean. They are planning to freeze the ground around the buildings in order to dam the contaminated ground water in place. This is a brilliant move. In all likelihood the cooling coils are already in place. The Japanese move fast.

Arnie Gunderson wrote in 2011 that it would take forty years to clean up the four plants. Later he wrote it would take a century to clean up all the radiation. TEPCO will have the cores extracted in less than five years and the contamination contained in less than ten: http://educate-yourself.org/zsl/tokyoelectricpower03oct13.shtml

As the natural world dies around us, what will take its place? Planetary engineering includes bioremediation measures to bring us genetically engineered trees and crops. And what of humans themselves? How are we being transformed from the inside out? this 1 hour power point presentation by Sofia Smallstorm introduces primary and scientific findings hidden in the muffles of mainstream alternative media. People around the world are observing aerosol spraying (also called “chemtrials”) and strange man-made clouds. White skies filter sunlight as trees around the country sicken and die. Soil and water tests high for heavy metals, and artificial fibres fall on us from the sky.Is aerosol spraying only about experimenting with weather? What do the self-replicating fibres found in Morgellons patients signify? Why are engineered materials being found in airborne environmental samples? All this suggests a planetary engineering program that is affecting and targeting all living things. Synthetic biology is science’s most exciting new frontier, combining genetics, robotics and nano-technology with artificial intelligence, hybridizing natural forms and engineering tissues beyond our wildest dreams. The technology explosion is skyrocketing, and artificial intelligence will soon surpass our own capabilities. How will our world be organized then? WIll we turn ourselves over to machines? the oil, coal, and natural gas companies fund the environmental movement. The oil, coal, and natural gas companies give the enviromental movement, and all the enviromental groups in the world recieve millions of dollars evrey year from the oil, coal, and natural gas companies and are propoganda arms of them. When a oil company is stopped from drilling the price of oil goes up so the oil company makes more money, and less work for the oil company because now they dont have to drill there. When a coal plant is shut down the price of electricity goes up because electricty comes from coal so the coal companies make more money. When a natural gas company is stopped from fracking they make more money because the price of natural gas goes up. That is why the oil, coal, and natural gas companies pay groups, and movements to attack them. Also Nuclear power produces more energy than oil, coal, and natural gas combined and that is why it is attacked so much. The oil, natural gas, and coal companies in their ads, will say, solar not nuclear. The oil, natural gas, and coal companies promote solar, wind, bio-fuels, biomass, geothermal because it cannot compete with them but dont promote nuclear because it can compete with them and is the only form of energy that is being produced that can produce more energy then them. Right now you have top enviromentlists who are calling for all of the nuclear power plants in the world to be shut down and replaced by natural gas. This would allow the natural gas companies to have a monopoly on natural gas. I have friend in japan. Evreywhere that they shut down the nuclear power plants they replaced them with natural gas, and coal. In germany they replaced their nuclear power plants with natural gas and coal. That is the motive. You see to benefit two different industries.

jhon Nuclear energy will be outlawed in my life time for being so dangerous and destructive. “Magnetic Perpetual Motion” is the only way to go for the future, it is clean, inexpensive and virtually free. It is for that reason all such things have been hidden by the oil, electric and nuclear companies. May 21, 1927 Charles Lindbergh was the 1st to fly across the Atlantic direct to refueling. His motor was mostly a magnetic perpetual motion a hidden unknown fact. Howard Johnson finally had 3 patents (pat 4151431, 4877983, 5402021) awarded to him on “Magnetic Perpetual Motion Energy” but limited to personal non commercial production. This is “Clean, free and infinite Free Energy based on magnetism,”we live on a magnet”. In the 80’s Stan Ovishinsky invented a super cell battery for GM enabling their first electric car to run for 300 miles before recharge but Big Oil bought the patent out. Muller manetic generator and solar power but not the way you think, wind sure but not nessisary with Tesla’s repressed power generation. NO SPILLS, NO EXPLOSIONS, NO EARTH QUAKES NO PROBLEMS “FREE ENERGY FREE WORLD!”

PS: will did out more examples and patents!

    • jhon

I agree with you on magnetic perpetual motion. I have seen them in operation producing energy in person by meeting people who are using them. But realistically it is so suppressed I do not see it going public. On the other hand with cold fusion there is no power plant to operate to. More than junk science. When first presented in 1989 cold fusion was quickly dismissed as junk science. But, as Scott Pelley reports, there’s renewed buzz among scientists that cold fusion could lead to monumental breakthroughs in energy production: http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4967330n&tag=contentBody;storyMediaBox cold fusion is nuclear energy like that powers the sun but on a tabletop. It is cheap, limitless, and clean. Heavy watergate the war on cold fusion by the coal, oil, and nuclear companies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htgV7fNO-2k

      • Brad

Are you like 2 stepping me, you know one step foreward and 2 steps back.
Is it not the best and cleanest way to go, above all else. At least you can agree. In 50 years I hope it is common place and everything else is just a distant dream.

      • Brad

I finally watch about cold fusion, it sounds fantastic but I still don’t understand it, I’m too simple and like common sence things. I hope the Tesla and other forms of free energy being over a hundred years old will be adapted to our everyday power source, I’m banking on it!? The bottom line is clean energy is our only choice for the next century and beyond and if it’s free that sounds best to me…

Former British MI6 intelligence agent Dr. John Coleman writes, The Assault on Iran’s Right to Nuclear Energy Former British MI6 intelligence agent Dr. John Coleman writes, One needs to have a clear understanding of just why it is that nuclear power is so hated all over the world, and why the fake “environmentalist” movement, established and financially supported by the Club of Rome, was called upon to wage war on nuclear energy. With nuclear energy generating electricity in cheap and abundant supplies, Third World countries would gradually become independent of U.S. foreign aid and begin to assert their sovereignty. Nuclear generated electricity is THE key to bringing Third World countries out of their backward state: http://www.indytruth.org/iran.html
former brtish mi6 intellegence agent Dr John Coleman also sais that: Less foreign aid means less control of a country’s natural resources by the I.M.F. It was this idea of developing nations taking charge of their destiny that was an anathema to the Club of Rome and its ruling Committee of 300. We have seen oppo-sition to nuclear power in the United States successfully used to block industrial development in conformity with the Club’s [“Post-Industrial Zero-Growth” plans. It is not difficult to see how the Club of Rome has maintained its grip on U.S. energy policies and where “environmentalist” opposition to nuclear energy is coming from. Perhaps the Club’s greatest success story is its hold over Con-gress in regard to nuclear energy which has had the effect of preventing the U.S. from entering the 21st century as a strong industrial nation. The effect of the anti-nuclear policy of the Club of Rome can be measured in terms of silent blast furnaces. derelict railroad yards, rusting steel mills, shipyards long since closed down and a valuable trained work force scattered across the United States, which may never again be assembled.
One of the greatest advances made by man was the discovery of nuclear energy as a source of cheap and safe electricity. It promised to transform the world within a time frame of a maximum of three decades. In order to understand world events in both the areas of politics and economics, one must have a thorough understanding of religion and secret societies which play a leading role in world events. Secret societies, more so in 2008 than ever before, greatly influence the course of momentous events. The rich and the powerful belong to secret societies that most ordinary people have never, even heard about, and it comes as a surprise to many to find out that such notable personages the Elizabeth, Queen of England is a member of a number of them, all of which play a big role in shaping the course of events.
Nuclear power generated electricity is particularly hated by the leaders of secret societies. Nuclear power is hated by the elite because it brings new hope to millions of people who will aspire to a better life once nuclear power is running and available in every city and town throughout the world. The very poor, the downtrodden and the unwanted see new hope in nuclear generated power, the very thing the Illuminati members are so much against. They don’t want an extension of life for those who would otherwise die at a very early age in such countries and India and China.

There are eight radiation detection stations evenly spread around Tokyo prefecture. Each monitoring station reports the hourly minimum, maximum, and average reading in micro Grays per hour (or micro sieverts per hour). This chart shows you the summary daily readings for Toyko from March 1, 2011 through December 2, 2012. The Japan attack occured on March 11, 2011. You will notice from the chart that the radiation levels in Tokyo didn’t show an uptick in readings until March 15, 2011 when the average reading went from 0.0341 uGy/h to 0.109 uGy/h. They then dropped somewhat for a week and rose again above 0.100 uGy/h for a period of exactly ONE week from March 23 through March 31, 2011. This ONE week period represents the HIGHEST radiation readings that have been recorded in Tokyo since the sabotage events orchestrated at the Daiichi Nuclear power station took place on March 11 and 12 of 2011. You will notice from March 31, 2011 until December 2, 2012 that the radiation readings have steadily and consistently fallen back towards the pre-attack radiation background levels.
There is nothing even remotely dangerous or worrying about these radiation readings. They are well below the average daily radiation background readings at many populated area of this planet. The Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Public Health added all of the daily readings from the date of the attack until roughly one year later and concluded that Tokyo residents would have experienced no more than 24 micro sieverts of radiation. Compare that to the normal 400 micro sieverts per year that people experience in Japan from radon gas exposure. It’s important to note that Tokyo is 124 miles from the Daiichi Nuclear Power station in Fukushima prefecture, while Los Angeles is 5,541 miles from Tokyo. If “tons” of plutonium had been spewed into the air from the Daiichi power station, as some Japan radiation hysteria promoters have wildly claimed, then you would have seen a HUGE and unprecedented uptick in Tokyo readings BEFORE such radition could ever traverse the entire Pacific Ocean and show up on the west coast of America. Anyone can look at the radiation monitoring data in all of Japan, and in Fukushima prefecture especially, and see that the hysteria and angst generated by Japan radiation promoters on rense.com or enenews.com, or any of the dozens of blogs who mirror the Japan radiation psyops, is all out of proportion to the actual radiation exposure experienced by Japanese residents in northern Japan. I can’t tell you how infuriating it is to hear repeatedly from Japan radiation propagandists like Leuren Moret or commenters on internet blogs how northern Japan will forever be “unhabitable” due to the “deadly radiation” (that never was). The Fukushima radiation psyops is one of the greatest frauds to be perpetrated in modern times. It astounds me how many people simply acquiese and accept the dire pronouncements of radiation promoters as fact, when just a little bit of checking and verification will show you the extreme level of exaggeration and confabulation being employed.: http://educate-yourself.org/cn/tokyodailyradiationmonitor03dec12.shtml One more thing hydrocarbon markets have antinuclear motive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5d3thaYkc5A&feature=player_embedded#!

Nuclear power is the second cleanest form of power and does not pollute because you do not burn it to produce power. Hydro power is the cleanest. Now the stupid enviromentalists are having trying to have all the dams blown up evreywhere supposedly to save the fish. According to small farmers affected by this the fish were just fine before the dam was blown up. Endangered species, also hyped as ‘biodiversity’ is the top reason for blowing up the dams, which is based on junk science and hypocrisy. Can you guess how many species have been saved by the Endangered species Act of 1973? If you guessed ZERO, you are correct! Phony environmentalism and conservation are really just land, water and power grabs. An example of the endangered species scam to save the salmon is really a cover for a more grand agenda that is playing out in the Klamath River on the Oregon and California border. Hydro power is Oregon’s main power source, providing about 90% of Oregon’s electricity. The Klamath River dams light up 70,000 homes. Hydropower is the cleanest energy, so why should 4 hydro-electric dams be busted down? This is a lose-lose proposal because: Farmers will be wiped out (another attack on food production): http://morphcity.com/home/107-dam-liars-crooks-and-killers

my point is though that oil does not come from fossil fuels so can not run out like claimed. You should read this book. It is very well done. Cornell University physicist Thomas Gold, who argued in his book, :The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth of Fossil Fuels” that micro-organisms found in oil might have come from the mantle of the earth where, absent photosynthesis, the micro-organisms feed on hydrocarbons arising from the earth’s mantle in the dark depths of the ocean floors. Also there are people I know, I am friends with and have met who are small oil contractors who have told me that there is a natural chemical underneath the earth that automatically replenishes all the oil wells everywhere on earth all the time. To begin with, oil is not a fossil fuel. This is a theory put forth by 18th century scientists. Within 50 years, Germany and France’s scientists had attacked the theory of petroleum’s biological roots. In fact, oil is abiotic, not the product of long decayed biological matter. And oil, for better or for worse, is not a non-renewable resource. It, like coal, and natural gas, replenishes from sources within the mantle of earth. This is the real and true science of oil. In fact, working in the 1950s, Russian and Ukrainian scientists, cut off from the Western World’s oil supply, applied their keen minds to the problem and, by the 1960s, had thoroughly demolished the idea of oil as a ‘fossil fuel,’ Is it any wonder then that Russia is one of if not the leading producers and exporters of oil. The isolation of the Cold War forced Russia to dig deeper, literally, to find oil deeper in the earth in some places, and to look in other places where no one had thought to look to reveal more: http://rense.com/general67/oils.htm I am from your generation I am 19 years old. I am not only for nuclear power. I am in favor of other forms of energy. The only problem is that alternative energy which they claim is renewable is not and is very harmful and does not do well at producing energy. In africa you have very rich investors from the us that will scare the africans away from developing their own resources with talk of global warming and tell them they have to use solar and wind instead so they do and when they do they find that with the solar and wind it does not produce enough power to power more than a min radio or to even build a railroad. And that when they use the solar power they can not turn on the light and refrigerator at the same time because there is not enough power to do so. Also they add high amounts of arsenic and high amounts of the most toxic chemicals on earth to all solar cells. Then you have this on you roof this toxic solar panel. It is stupid. Also the solar farms take up a very large amount of land. Wind turbines destroy the soil where they are place and kill all the animal life. They kill the animal life because the electromagnetic frequencies they emit are very harmufl. My grandpa who lived in a farm in france who is now dead had hunreds of birds who were flying around his farm evreyday and after a couple of windmills were installed next to his farm they all died. Also I met a farmer in france last year who told me that a big bank installed windmills all over the countryside including next to where he lives and that he hates them. He said that the windmills only work half of the time, stall, and make a lot of noise. Then there is biomass which produces a moderate amount of energy. Then you have geothermal which when it is used creates large earthquakes.

JOURNAL OF APPLIED PHYSICS 97, 074109 s2005d Electron and positive ion acceleration with pyroelectric crystals Jeffrey A. Geuthera! and Yaron Danonb! Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York 12180
sReceived 29 November 2004; accepted 9 February 2005; published online 28 March 2005d The phenomenon of pyroelectric electron emission has been employed to develop miniature x-ray sources, such as the Cool-X by Amptek swww.amptek.com/coolx.htmld. The source strength of a
pyroelectric x-ray generator is dependent on the emitted electron energy and current. Similarly, the source strength of a pyroelectric neutron generator will be dependent on the energy and production rate of deuterium ions in the fill gas. This paper summarizes our results in experiments directed
toward creating high-energy electrons and positive ions with a pyroelectric source. Single-crystal sources are shown to produce positive ions with energies of up to 98 keV and electron energies of up to 143 keV. X-ray spectra are presented as proof that a paired-crystal source can increase electron energy to at least 215 keV. In addition, we offer independent verification of the “bunched”
electron emission effect observed by fBrownridge et al., Appl. Phys. Lett. 78, 1158 s2001dg. © 2005 American Institute of Physics. fDOI: http://fire.pppl.gov/accel_crystals_japhys_05.pdf10.1063/1.1884252g

      Cool!

Sorry jhon, I am being too harsh and will look up your information but please look up mine. I think we could move mountain’s together (without nuclear generation), I am ignorant to it as I believe you may be to the truth of it. It is just not worth the risk…

Italian physicist and inventor Andrea Rossi has conducted a public demonstration of his “cold fusion” machine, the E-Cat, at the University of Bologna, showing that a small amount of input energy drives an unexplained reaction between atoms of hydrogen and nickel that leads to a large outpouring of energy, more than 10 times what was put in. The first seemingly successful cold fusion experiment was reported two decades ago, but the process has forever been met with heavy skepticism. It’s a seemingly impossible process in which two types of atoms, typically a light element and a heavier metal, seem to fuse together, releasing pure heat that can be converted into electricity. The process is an attractive energy solution for two reasons: Unlike in nuclear fission, the reaction doesn’t give off dangerous radiation. Unlike the fusion processes that take place in the sun, cold fusion doesn’t require extremely high temperatures. Life’s Little Mysteries reported on the E-Cat machine in April, when Rossi and fellow physicist Sergio Focardi successfully demonstrated the device for a group of Swedish physicists. At the time, we explained that the Italian physicists are two of a handful of researchers around the world who have kept the cold fusion fire burning. These cold fusion devotees believe that there is a little-understood physical process occurring in their machines that produces a safe, clean and endlessly renewable form of energy. The physicists who were invited to the demonstration in April gave the E-Cat a solid thumbs-up. It produced too much excess heat to have been originating from a chemical process, they wrote in their report, adding that, “The only alternative explanation is that there is some kind of a nuclear process that gives rise to the measured energy production.” In the intervening months, Rossi has built a large version of his device that combines many smaller cold fusion modules. At the demo in October, after an initial energy input of 400 watts into each module, each one then produced a sustained, continuous output of 10 kilowatts (470 kW altogether) for three to four hours. Rossi has not published any details about the inner workings of the E-Cat because the device is not patent-protected, but other cold fusion researchers have theories as to how the process works. Peter Hagelstein, an MIT professor of electrical engineering and computer science and one of the most mainstream proponents of cold fusion research, thinks the process may involve vibrational energy in the metal’s lattice driving nuclear transitions that lead to fusion. There are several close connections between the E-Cat and other recent experimental results, Hagelstein said, noting that the excess power seems to respond to lattice spacing in both experiments, vacancies within the lattice (e.g., spots where the nickel atoms are missing) seem to be important in both, the excess power seems to increase with operating temperature in relevant operating regimes and other connections: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45153076/ns/technology_and_science-science/t/italian-cold-fusion-machine-passes-another-test/#.ULvTCWetSSo the reason brad why we should have nuclear power is because cold fusion which is free energy would not have been possible without nuclear power to be invented or continue to be invented

jhon you need your own nuclear run planet, you have not heard what i said,”CLEAN FREE ENERGY”. It’s been repressed from the world for a hundred years. I don’t expect anything less in the next 50 years, you move to all those nuclear disaster zones. It is a bold faced lie that everything is back to normal in Japan but they seemingly know how to fend cancer off.
“Cancer Cures Supressed”, “Thrive”, “Royal Raymond Rife”, “Jason Vale”, Dr Linus Pauling, DCA, marijuana etc cures cancer but I recently discover there was an “1839 CANCER ACT” TO SUPPRESS ALL CURES!

So go to Chernoble and tell US how it is, I DARE YOU!

    • jhon

I told you that I have friends who lived in chernobyl and 3 mile Island during the disaster and still live there now and they do not have cancer and they say no one else got cancer living in chernobyl and three mile island. I told you that I have a friend who has a blog in japan and he said that he took radiation readings before the fukishima disaster in japan and it was negligible and after fukishima and it was still negligible and he said that the reacotr 3 in japan did not melt down like they said in the media because he was there. I have friends living in the north of japan and they had their radiation readings done and it was negligable and the north of japan has been rebuilt all the way. Don’t forget the “Polar Shift” that has been, is or will take place causing all of these earthquakes and polar caps melting. All of this is known but we are not privy to the truth and are kept ignorant to the facts and the progress or regress of the situation.

  • Brad

It is a tax scam to charge us more, stop all forest fires, volcanoes and seriously run the world on clean free energy. Who was the source of the “Idea” any ways and how many books did he sell?
