“Ron Paul Would Have Beaten Obama”

Unfortunately Ron Paul didn’t win the 2012 GOP primary because the GOP establishment cheated him out of his well-deserved victory. But in 2016, things will be different if the liberty movement keeps gaining ground within the GOP. And while Ron Paul said that he is retiring from politics, a groundswell of support might motivate him to run again.

Vito La Giorgia ' What does believing in God have to do with politics!' well 'people' believe in God and 'people' are the pool from which politicians are drawn...what? Can you separate yourself from being someone who 'breathes' when you go to work? We are made up of who we are..

This will be my first time voting as I'm coming up to age to vote! I was worried that I didn't want to vote because the issues I care about weren't being addressed so I stopped caring about politics! All of a sudden Ron Paul comes to light and I do want to vote for him! I want him to be my first vote I cast in my life!

Congressman Paul, if you want America to wake up and listen to you, you must use the following slogan: The three 'C's: Ron Paul is the most Christian, Conservative and Constitutional candidate! The three 'C's!!!

I can't begin to explain how we are living in the greatest time ever. There are people sitting on the couch missing it. This is a revolution a peaceful one that might get nasty at some point. MarlonBrown you are correct when you say ' He can't go around giving these answers in highly controversial topics like "America is partially to be blamed for 911", "end the FED", "end the Department of Education" without scaring the average voter in the process.' Change is easier to envision or talk about, than it is to accept, for many people, ( I know I should stop -smoking, overeating, drinking too much, spending more than I have etc. - I can clearly see where it's taking me..) there just seems to be some kind of comfort in staying in that sinking boat that one is so 'used to'. Yet we are here, talking. Do we want him to lie just a little to enlist more voters? Movement in society is a slow process often. Ron Paul is appealing mainly to those who can and will think clearly and logically. Find ways to enlist enough of this segment, and the dream will become reality.

Powerful groups have control of this country. We have to fight wars that I am against. We are losing our rights. And I am a combat veteran of ww 2 and now I see that the whole world hates USA and it has been always like that, but now people are beginning to open their eyes because they see oppressor in control of this system..!! RON PAUL IS OUR ONLY HOPE AND OUR SALVATION.Wise up America..!! Lenny.

I'm from the Philippines and have been following the Republican race. I would say that I really admire Ron Paul because he makes the most sense and is not afraid to say the truth about the wars, spending, and US intervention. He doesn't change sides and says the consistent message, unlike other candidates who have a different face depending on what state they are campaigning at.

I hope everyone notices how bias Fox News is. I was watching over the weekend, they are interviewing Ron Paul about the South Carolina primary results, when suddenly they cut him off and switched to another segment concerning a celebrity's autobio.

I mean, is the autobio plug more important than the current republican primaries? They didn't even bother giving an excuse, such as "there was a technical difficulty and unfortunately Ron Paul was cut off". It was not even a time concern, because the anchor would have said "Thank you Ron Paul but that is all the time we have left". No, they cut him off when Ron was speaking. Fox is just blatantly rude! If they didn't want Ron, then they just should have not bothered to interview him. But they want to rub it in by cutting him off the air.

In addition, Fox didn't show Ron's results at SC primary during their news segments. Even if he was last, they didn't want to show that he is just near Santorum's numbers. Fox doesnt want the viewers to see that Ron's numbers are consistent among states, and do not spike or drop unlike other candidates. This is not an computer oversight on Fox's part and clearly shows bias.

I hope Americans fight this blatant bias and subjective reporting, and make it a prominent issue as well.

Good luck Ron!

they better leave Ron Paul alone, wonder what our founding fathers would do today? I think they wouldn't acknowledge the federal government and start a new one with Ron Paul as president. time to over throw the white house

MarlonBrown you have a very valid point - I would also like to see Ron Paul as President. Ron's honesty, sincererity, directness, in -corruptability is very rare in politics and the electorate are not familiar with this style of political rhetorick, as such can be interpreted as 'rebellious to a degree' - ya lot of the electorate dont like to be told the real truth in such a direct way, even though Ron does it in a mild mannered and polite way. I believe Ron needs to change his style to a more ascertive position of authority/dominance over his competitors in debates and adopt a more aggressive vocal position of presentation/condemnation as and when needs require - he has very much more knowledge across the spectrum of topics than his competitors which as such underpins his credibility. I respectfully suggest that Ron's campaign team should recruit you on to their campaign management team.

I would vote Ron Paul. That said, as I have been saying few times on this website, it is unfortunate that Ron Paul has a flaw that is his likely fatal downfall: he does not adapt. Good thing he is not a politician, but he is in politics. He can't go around giving these answers in highly controversial topics like "America is partially to be blamed for 911", "end the FED", "end the Department of Education" without scaring the average voter in the process. The media catches him all the time on that. The media knows if controversial topics are asked, he keeps falling on the trap and answering those questions in a way it hurts himself for the average voter. If Ron Paul chose his words more carefully, he could win this nomination. Then once he is in power, implement whatever is feasible. There are ways more or less sensible ways to put a message out there and still be truthful about it. Ron Paul fails to express his views on these debates and that his own fault. I wrote this before as a way to convey this message to him and his campaign, but all I get are fairly standard answers to my post. Santorum has not chances, he is Bush II. Newt is a disaster, if ever gets nomination simply would lose to Obama. Romney may have a little bit more chances, but it is Obama II to me.

Harris Hassan - I am from the UK and I completely agree with you, I am sure that their are many people across the world that feel like you, I just hope that enough americans come to this view in time to elect Ron Paul as President - otherwise as you say reinstate 'its past glory and improve its image in the world', I would further add that many of us outside of the US see the US on the edge of economic collapse and demise into a total tyranny - I sincerely hope that I am wrong but without Ron Paul the status quo of US 'Establishment' control of the US and its people will continue its roll towards tyranny.

Hi, I am from Pakistan and I am closely following the presidential campaign. I find the policies and views of Ron Paul extremely logical and in the best interest of both United States and the rest of the world. It is really distressing to see that he is not getting that amount of support from the American people. Ron Paul is dead right on every issue he speaks on. I think he is the only candidate who can restore United States to its past glory and improve its image in the world. United States!, you have a chance to rise up once again. Don't let it go away !

All we need is freedom

He's got my vote. He seems to be the only one who actually cares about what makes us the United States, the constitution. We need someone to repeal the patriot act, and take a good look at agenda 21 both are ruining this great country. I vote Paul because I vote for civil rights

Not going to lie... I had given up on politics I kept hearing the same thing over and over again empty promises, as if watching these people campaign I began to wonder who the better liar was. In the Military I had a simple policy vote Republican because they take better care of us than the Democrats, it wasn't until a few weeks ago that one of my coworkers told me I needed to start taking it serious again that there truly was someone out there that I need to listen too. At first I blew him off but watching the South Carolina caucus I finally saw it, and after researching Dr Ron Paul I finally understood.

For the first time in almost twenty years I have been voting I want my vote to count, I want this country to become the great nation I know it can be, I want Dr Ron Paul as MY Commander in Chief.

I would be willing to say I would proudly give my life in his defense, but I have a feeling he would be just as eager to give his for me.

I pledge my support, not only for me but for my children to grow up in a better country.

As a Christian, I want to vote for someone who has undoubted integrity. Even if I might have some disagreements with the candidate. I seek to vote for someone, not just against Obama. Ron Paul has INTEGRITY! How can you honestly vote for any of his opponents who cannot be trusted to do what they say they will do? "@"

@alds fox news is a joke, its Satan's personal news channel. They won't do Ron Paul any justice at all. They are biased and spread lies. If Ron Paul is to get into office it won't be because of fair media coverage, it will be because of those who want him there working to spread the word.

c@democracygone The "write in" option won't solve or lead us to a path to get the leader we need elected ever. For those of us who support Ron Paul, we should write more to him to let him deliver more intelligent answers when asked about his foreign policy and few other positions. Too late now though. Again, it is not that his positions are radical, it is the way he conveys the message to the average voter is simply unacceptable. He falls on that trap all the time. I am a successful foreigner professional, voting for the first time. Even my 10 year old knows that America interventionism abroad and the style in which America has intervened triggers negative sentiment towards us. However, the average American voter are not prepared to listen this at the moment. especially when you have the media owned by special interest groups against you. So as a politician, you need to strategically choose your words and how you send this message. Otherwise you lose it. Millions have been donated to Ron Paul campaign and lot of time from many of us. We should not be aiming at "write in" or simply be in this race to send the message of freedom.

Yes, you have a point, people do get scared, but those issues need to be exsplained to the people better then they will make sence. If people understood indepth what we were facing and Paul's solutions to fix the promlems they would understand then to just listen to a few words a make there judgement.Thats the problem most of the time people aren't willing to research before making a decision..

@Changehowthink I think you a have point Paul for President and Santorum as Vice President, Santorum has similar views as Ron across the board except on foreign policy but if santorum's youthfull enthusiasm for war could be tamed by Ron's wisdom then they could really be a strong force for change and restoration of the economy and prestige that we all look for in america

It is not just the banker thieves

It has to do with oil companies & pharmaceuticals also

If you think about it 10yrs ago gas was .99 a gallon. Not long ago the 1 oil company had a major spill costing them billions.

Yet that oil company made a larger profit then they have ever made.

Where is the logic in this. Rip off the people to line there pockets & give the government free gas & oil. so they could get away with everything.

Governors, president etc. should not be receiving income & medical for the rest of there life after there term.

they get paid for the rest of there life & have the best medical for ruining this country.

I am scared to say much online anymore with this sopa & the new laws.

Something has to be done to fix this country.

Every other country in the world is more free then we are.

Don't bother saying it's not if you have never been elsewhere and lived.

everyone needs to wake up.

Stop believing news & press

stop believing political lies.

dont trust the government until they fix everything they destroyed.

@kenwcreative@cukester Don't go giving up just yet - it *is*

frustrating as hell with people not willing to think critically or to risk anything.

Not to mention that some billionaire can sit down and write a check to advance his agenda for an amount that it's a struggle for thousands of

us to match. But not doing anything is a formula for disaster and sometimes high-risk strategies are the only ones with any chance of success.

Anyway, how the campaign has gone down so far is not way off track by any means. In this interview, Doug Wead explains about the strategy:
