The difference is that the masses are leading us towards more of the same if not worse, while the smart sensible opinions rooted in logic and sound theories that can be applied to real life situations are being ignored, [...]

Like many other Paul-ites, I’ve spent quite a bit of time defending Dr. Paul’s ideals to critics and naysayers.
One thing I’ve found in my discussions is that many good, honest, and intelligent Americans look out to our corporatist society and conclude that the free market only benefits big business while hurting the little guy. [...]

Subsidies, tax breaks, tax hikes, government run monopolies, the list goes on and on.  It seems like the government simply doesn’t want people to prosper, given that (partial) list of disincentives towards growth they constantly are pushing for and enforcing every day.
