Who Is Ron Paul?

Ron Paul is America’s leading voice for liberty, prosperity and peace. As a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives and three-time presidential candidate, Ron Paul tirelessly works for limited, constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. Ron Paul never voted for legislation unless the proposed measure was expressly authorized by the Constitution.

Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren.

While serving in Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Dr. Paul’s limited-government ideals were not popular in Washington. In 1976, he was one of only four Republican congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for president. During that time, Congressman Paul served on the House Banking committee, where he was a strong advocate for sound monetary policy and an outspoken critic of the Federal Reserve’s inflationary measures. He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family values. Dr. Paul consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and used his House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. In 1984, he returned to his medical practice.

Ron Paul went back to Congress in 1997 to represent the 14th congressional district of Texas. He served on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, and eventually became Chairman of the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology. After retiring from Congress in early 2013, Ron Paul continued to advocate a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a return to constitutional principles.

I have considered voting for you several times. I was a staunch Republican until I turned off my TV and started doing research for myself. Republicans and Democrats are one in the same. I am an individual; a party of one. I have my own mind, values, ideas and morals. Your platform is almost identical to how I see things now. I served as an F-16 Crew-Chief in the US Air Force and I am proud to have served my country; just like every male in my family dating back to the Revolutionary War. You, Congressman, are the exact person that this country needs as President! The way I see it, the Republicans don’t like you and the Democrats don’t like you. Therefore, you are doing the right thing because, it seems, you threaten their “established” way of making money from the citizens of this Great Country.

If you run for President of the United States, I will vote for you. Mitt Romney is to much a business man, Sarah Palin has become a celebrity, and Donald Trump is a arrogant jerk. Non of the aforementioned are worthy of the prestigious position of United States President. I think that you and Mike Huckabee are probably the two most honest and straight forward individuals that are contemplating a run that, if elected, will have a good shot of pulling the country out of the ditch. GOD WILLING YOU GET THE VOTES! If not…..hang on….it is going to be a bumpy ride!

Freedom Bots-The movie (featuring Ron Paul)

    Link for movie: http://www.vimeo.com/20933715

    Movie Description:
On Earth, centuries of progress toward human freedom have been reversed. A virulent strain of super-violent social disorder known as Socialism has been unleashed upon the world. The 20th Century–the Socialist Century–was the most violent in world history. Hundreds of millions have been murdered by political parties following socialist doctrines and billions have lived out their lives as total slaves of socialist states. 21st Century Earth has become a giant slave planet. Even nations like America and Switzerland, once two of the freest nations in history, are now spiraling into socialism and a police state grid is being established to suppress the people.

Freedom Bots, the Movie, is a science fiction representation of the all too real events which are now taking place upon the Earth. In our movie, the Earth has been infected with socialism by an alien robot, Socialisto, and our two robotic heroes, the Freedom Bots, come to Earth for a showdown with Socialisto and to give the people of Earth the tools to break their shackles of socialism and learn to live again, through the knowledge of freedom, and practice of human liberty.

    Hello America,
I’m a Brit who stumbled across Ron Paul on you tube. Now, if you’d said to me a year ago I’d have bought a T-Shirt that supports an American politician I’d have said your crazy. Well I did, and got two of his books too. I’ll be heading to America in 2012 to show my support, good luck Ron Paul and good luck to America, I hope you once more become the inspiration for freedom to the citizens of this world of ours.
End the Fed and the Bank of England too!

Why is it in our interest to support Israel? Imagine if the Russians, Chinese and British funded and armed the Seminole and Cherokee tribes and told them to go take their rightful land back?

EVEN IF THE G.O.P. WON’T SUPPORT HIM FOR PRESIDENT, THERE’S ALWAYS THE “WRITE IN” THING. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I’LL DO IF HE DOESN’T GET THE NOMINATION. I’D STRONGLY SUGGEST EVERYBODY ELSE DO THE SAME. THEY CAN’T IGNORE IT IF THERE’S ENOUGH OF US SAYING WE WANT RON PAUL FOR OUR PRESIDENT. WE’RE GOING TO HAVE TO RELY ON OTHER WAYS TO GET THE WORD OUT, THOUGH. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA WILL ABHOR HIM BECAUSE HE SPEAKS OF FREEDOM & LIMITED GOVERNMENT. THEREFORE, THEY WILL TRY TO SILENCE HIM. WE ALL KNOW WHO RUNS THE MEDIA NOW, DON’T WE ? THAT’S THE MAIN OBSTACLE IN OUR PATH. BUT ANYMORE, IT’S A SMALL ONE. THE MESSAGE MUST BE HEARD BY ALL TRUE AMERICANS & IT’S UP TO ALL WHO READ THIS & SUPPORT RON PAUL TO GET THAT MESSAGE OUT TO TRUE PATRIOTS EVERYWHERE. I STILL BELIEVE THERE’S MORE OF US THAN THERE ARE OF THEM (SOCIALISTS, MARXISTS, COMMUNISTS…DEMOCRATS.). SO, IT’S NOW OR NEVER. WE EITHER FIGHT WITH OUR BALLOTS, OR WE’LL HAVE TO FIGHT IT OUT IN THE STREETS. EITHER WAY, WE HAVE TO WIN FOR THE SAKE OF OUR COUNTRY. IF WE DON’T, ALL IS LOST & THE AMERICA WE LOVE IS GONE FOREVER. I DON’T WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN, I LOVE MY COUNTRY & HER PEOPLE. BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH & TOO MUCH IS A PLENTY. WE’VE HAD TOO MUCH OF BIG GOVERNMENT & LOSS OF OUR FREEDOM. I’VE HAD PLENTY OF IT !!!

Ron, your ideas are almost perfect, when I say almost I mean it… Never forget your allies, and you are willing to forget Israel, this is not a good thing… I agree about eliminating federal income taxes, I agree about the free marketing system, I agree about small limited governement and reduced military, but I don’t agree that eliminating alliances is a way to go… You still have my vote though!

      Sergio,

You should only think of America when you vote.
NOT Israel, NOT Russia, NOT anyone else.
Try to practice this every day before you vote for anyone.

Remember! If America is not in your list to be the number one, two or three, then your citizenship is definitely questionable .

America is the greatest nation in the world, and too many people in this country have forgotten that….but I’m not so sure there is anything wrong with simplicity and streamlining.

Either stance you take the point is moot, because it simply will not happen. The fear of a one nation planet is as irrational as the US switching its political stance to communism. It’s just not how we do things around here.

As almost the only friend we have in the world we obviously must support Israel. Obamanation is a not so secret moslem so it is no suprise the he hates Israel, as a Kenyan he also hates Britain as do anyone who has been “colonized” by them. Non of this is acceptable behavior for OUR president. A lot of people assume that a conservative approach to foriegn aid is anti Israel but aid to Israel is money in the security bank and a drop in the bucket. Always remember, the liberal media is expert at putting words in the mouths of AMERICAN STATESMEN. Thanks to the internet we can see through crap.

I might actually consider your argument sir; if you could actually spell Muslim correctly. For that matter, use spell check before you click the comment button. The money we spend giving aid to Israel is a drop in the bucket in the grand sense of the foreign aid budget, however, we do give them roughly $3 billion per year in defense and economic aid. Israel also receives a great amount of funding from Jews all around the world, and especially in the US. This comment is not in any way against supporting the Israeli state, or an attack on Jews; I simply hate when people try to claim their inappropriate ideas as fact (I hate when dumb people hear dumb things and try to pass them on as if they were true). And to continue to attack your false logic, I didn’t know that Australia and Portugal were no longer our allies/friends… I guess I will have to cancel my vacation plans. I do agree that there is a liberal media, as certainly as I agree that there is an even stronger conservative media that supported many bad things that were put through during the GW years, and now turn about and try and blame those problems on this new administration. Where was the Conservative media when the PATRIOT Act was being passed, or when Bush ook’d the de-regulation of the banking system in his first term? Now the effects of this get blamed on a President, whom I believe wanted to get rid of these problems, but was met with so much force against him, that he could not get anything done effectively. And just for your information, after Senator Paul, I was going to vote for Senator McCain; that is until that flirty-lying-harpy Sarah Palin joined his ticket. Good luck to you sir, and may I recommend that you take a couple of courses in National Security Policy, International Law, and the philosophy of the founding of the US government.

Thankyou Dr. Paul. As a fellow Texan I am proud to be able to in a small way give my support to a true American. I have been supporting the same American way as Ron Paul since the 70’s or so and I have never found any reason to question his motives in any way. We the people need hundreds more like him. S. I like a whole lot of what I’ve heard from and about Dr Paul. There is one issue important to me that I can’t seem to find his stance on. That stance would be the one on unions, in particular, the issue currently going on in Wisconsin with the teacher’s and state employees. If anyone knows and can give me a link to his answer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Oil is what backs all currencies. Every time you pump value is added to US currency. When the supply of oil is jerked with the price of oil changes. Thus, this is your lesson in crude oil production boys and girls. Happy trails.
