Ron Paul is the only candidate who predicted and warned against the economic crisis, who understood and explained the reasons for it, and who offers a viable solution.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who really means it when he says he wants to bring our troops home and scale down our unsustainable and unreasonable empire.
Ron Paul is the only candidate who is serious about slashing spending and eliminating taxes.
Even though others are now trying to sound like him, there is only one Ron Paul. And there is only one candidate who can beat Obama: Ron Paul.
Congressman Ron Paul is the leading advocate for freedom in our nation’s capital. As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. Paul tirelessly works for limited, constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. In the words of former Treasury Secretary William Simon, Dr. Paul is the “one exception to the Gang of 535″ on Capitol Hill.
Ron Paul was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Gettysburg College and the Duke University School of Medicine, before proudly serving as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force during the 1960s. He and his wife Carol moved to Texas in 1968, where he began his medical practice in Brazoria County. As a specialist in obstetrics/gynecology, Dr. Paul has delivered more than 4,000 babies. He and Carol, who reside in Lake Jackson, Texas, are the proud parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren.
While serving in Congress during the late 1970s and early 1980s, Dr. Paul’s limited-government ideals were not popular in Washington. In 1976, he was one of only four Republican congressmen to endorse Ronald Reagan for president.
During that time, Congressman Paul served on the House Banking committee, where he was a strong advocate for sound monetary policy and an outspoken critic of the Federal Reserve’s inflationary measures. He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family values. Dr. Paul consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes, spending and regulation, and used his House seat to actively promote the return of government to its proper constitutional levels. In 1984, he voluntarily relinquished his House seat and returned to his medical practice.
Dr. Paul returned to Congress in 1997 to represent the 14th congressional district of Texas. He presently serves on the House Committee on Financial Services and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He continues to advocate a dramatic reduction in the size of the federal government and a return to constitutional principles.
Congressman Paul’s consistent voting record prompted one of his congressional colleagues to say, “Ron Paul personifies the Founding Fathers’ ideal of the citizen-statesman. He makes it clear that his principles will never be compromised, and they never are.” Another colleague observed, “There are few people in public life who, through thick and thin, rain or shine, stick to their principles. Ron Paul is one of those few.”
Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
- He has never voted to raise taxes.
- He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
- He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
- He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
- He has never taken a government-paid junket.
- He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
- He voted against the Patriot Act.
- He voted against regulating the Internet.
- He voted against the Iraq war.
- He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
- He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!
I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends. My friend and neighbor wants to promote a “Congressional Reform Act of 2009″.. It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I know many of you will say, “this is impossible”. Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress – the entity that represents us.
We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American hero’s..
Thanks,
A Fellow American

Don’t get me wrong: it’s a are real shame what happened in Haiti. With that said, there are over 150,000 homeless people in the city of San Francisco. That’s just one American city, full of homeless Americans. Until we fix our own problems, we shouldn’t be expected to invest in other countries.
Besides, don’t we already dish out enough foreign aid to other countries?
TOP U.S. Foreign Aid Recipient Countries
$2.5 billion = Israel
$1.7 billion = Egypt
$550 million = Columbia
$450 million = Jordan
$650 million = Pakistan
$100 million = Peru
$150 million = Indonesia
$200 million = Kenya
$100 million = Bolivia
$100 million = Ukraine
$90 million = India
$150 million = Haiti
$50 million = Russia
$140 million = Ethiopia
$150 million = West Bank/Gaza

PRIME EXAMPLES OF THE RIGHT WING!!
With most international aid yet to arrive in Haiti, bodies lined the streets of the capital, the injured gathered at hospitals devoid of doctors or functioning equipment, and swaths of the city were reduced to rubble.
BUT of course the religious and Republican leaders,Robertson and Limbaugh show the right wing rethoric
and instantly politicizing the Haiti quake,
stating Haitians are suffering because they made a pact with the devil?
That “Obama will use Haiti to boost credibility with ‘light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country.”
Great examples of the AMERICAN
CHRISTIAN RIGHT. How wrong do
you think they are??
Congregations will give and give, but
the Church will keep their money
invested in the WAR machines.
We are sure that Palin and the rest from
Fox will also through dirt in the face of
suffering peoples.
We wonder how the families of victims
from the States will react to such
remarks.

Please investigate and report on the activities of these lobbies, and the real influence on State, Local, and Federal government.
Our alliance with Israel is immoral, corrupt and unconstitutional.
While many have looked into the effect of U.S. foreign policy on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in general, the role of U.S. policy in internal Palestinian politics and the current divide between the two largest parties in the Palestinian political spectrum has been under discussed. What role has U.S. policy played in the inter-Palestinian divide? Does this help or hurt the long-term stated goal of American policy? Is it time for the US to reevaluate its policy based on these effects?
While economic conditions have improved in the West Bank, the conditions in Gaza continue to worsen after months of siege, devastating attacks and incursions. Largely, economic conditions in the Occupied Territories are greatly controlled by outside powers – most directly the Israeli occupation – and the donor nations which contribute aid money. Economic growth, without independence, continues to be tied to a relaxation of restrictions and an influx of donor dollars. Join us for a discussion on the economic conditions in Palestine and their prospects for change in the coming year.
Does humanitarianism delay a political solution to the question of Palestine? With the siege on Gaza and the occupation effecting the population in dramatic fashion and eliminating basic human needs for millions, there is a noticeable shift in the discourse on Palestine; that is a shift away from the struggle for freedom and toward a struggle for survival. If Palestinians are consumed with surviving for just another day they cannot focus on liberating their land. How does humanitarianism reinforce this situation and how can Palestinians avert suspended catastrophe?
The Palestine Center is an independent think-tank committed to communicating reliable and objective information about the Palestinian political experience to American policy makers, journalists, students and the general public. Established in 1991, it is the educational program.
The Palestine Center brings together people and resources within the American and Palestinian communities to educate about Palestine and the Palestinian people’s ongoing quest for sovereignty on their land, civil and political rights and an end to Israeli occupation.
The need for an organization such as The Palestine Center can be found in the effects of the economic, cultural and political oppression Palestinians have endured and which continues on a daily basis in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, the surrounding refugee camps and for Palestinians world-wide as they struggle to retain their homeland.
Palestinians’ ability to maintain their daily lives and strengthen their democratic political system depends on international humanitarian and non-governmental organizations.
a high-profile neoconservative think tank in the United States is reportedly working to establish a link between Iran, the Yemeni opposition groups and al-Qaeda militants. The alleged connection between Iran, the Shia Houthi fighters in northern Yemen, the Yemeni separatists in the south and the militants.
Since the post WWII era, many organizations just like the CSIS have been manipulating the US government to their own power hungry advantage and to their own agenda, without our knowledge. It is time we recognize who these people are and their strategic effects on the US government. It is time to put a stop to their control over America, now! To do this, we need to inform the American people of each organization one by one, alerting Americans to the organizations involved in affecting changes in our country that are illegal and unconstitutional.
Dick Cheney, James Woolsey, Henry Kissinger, James Schlesinger are all current CSIS members.
Mark Neuman, a longtime Jewish Republican activist and White House official during the Reagan administration, in reference to his support of George W. Bush, was quoted as saying this about George W. Bush, “He will surprise people with how diverse his administration will actually be.”
Diverse meaning the coalition between Jewish Neoconservative Democrats, Christian Compassionate Conservative Republicans, Jewish Republicans, Black Republicans and Black Neoconservatives. All of these movements divide party lines because they all have the same political agenda, which is, in a nutshell, US global domination with Israel by its side. These guys are always blaming the “evil terrorists” for everything that is wrong in the world and assert America as the “good-guy-super-power-super-hero” of the world.
Now, that all sounds nice and dandy but it’s just not true. We’d all love America to be the “good-guy-super-hero” of the world. But, sadly, it’s not real, it’s not the truth, it’s just a pretty picture painted with propaganda and lies, framed by your television set. What is real? What they do not show us on TV. The blood, the oil, the money, the power, the greed, land grabbing, hatred and Zionism.
The US Government has been giving military and monetary aid to Israel in their persecution of Palestinians and in the occupation of Palestinian land.
Palestinians have the right to return to their homeland. Because they are not being allowed to return to their native land, this angers many Arabs, many who’ve become “terrorists” in retaliation for Israeli occupation. These Arab revolutionaries or “terrorists” know that the United States of America is aiding Israel in the oppression of their people. This makes them very angry at the United States. They want the US to mind its own damn business. Under the US constitution that would be the right thing for us to do.
Neocons are notorious for avoiding all explanations for terrorists’ hatred towards America, because that would bring questions about US globalization and imperialism. So they “explain” terrorists as “freedom haters” or “anti-Semitics” (ignoring the obvious fact that Arabs can’t be anti-Semitic since they are Semitic) who are insane suicide bombers that enjoy killing people and themselves just because they oppose freedom and American values. The reason for terrorist activity is vastly more complicated than this Neocon explanation. Alternative media sources are trying to get the real news out but in these paranoid “Patriot Act” times, it can be very difficult.
“In spite of constant reassurances about the term ‘democracy’ one is rarely allowed to criticize the country of Israel without suffering some punishing consequence for it. If you are a Jew you may survive the accusations of anti-Semitism but if you consistently express yourself online in any dissidence about Israel’s current politick, you will probably not be immune to cyber attack.” OR worse. Most assassinations in the world including 138 journalist, and political figures is thought to be Mossad operatives.
Neocons support the most extremist elements in Israel such as the Likud Party. The Likud party is made-up of Jewish Zionists.
“The war in Iraq was conceived by 25 Neoconservative intellectuals, most of them Jewish, who pushed President Bush and the Republican Party to change the course of history.”
The AEI is considered by the US government to be America’s foreign policy “experts” that many members of US congress and executive branch depend on for policy decisions. None are ever in the best interest of America.
This Neoconservative think tank is a conglomeration of various groups including, CSIS, JINSA, AEI, ZOA, AIPAC, The Likud Party, the US Government, all of witch represent the Jewish community and Israel. Nothing American except payment made by the American tax-payer, and our sons & daughters in the USA military.
JINSA, CSIS, AEI and AIPAC are all Neoconservative Zionist think tank organizations working together to control US government policy, change laws and basically transform America to fit their ideals and agenda. These organizations were not formed with the interest of the American people in mind.
These Zionist Neoconservative organizations are mostly made up of un-elected officials. They are unconstitutional and un-American organizations that have an iron clad hold on our country and our lives as American citizens.
This needs to change. It can change with our US citizenship involvement in government lobbying with the Senate and Congress. “We the people” can regain our country and fight for our freedom from corporate tyranny perpetuated by these Neoconservatives.
Use your power as voters and US citizens. Our founding fathers decreed that WE rule this land and it is our long overdue responsibility to oust these treasonistic traitors of the American way. The future of America and the world depends upon it! If we do nothing, we are as much to blame as these corrupt corporate tyrants controlling our government.
Work to take back our country and our government today. Release our people from the tyranny of this Zionist occupied government once and for all!
Hypocrisy over the word “terrorism” is not an innocent dispute over semantics; it kills.
What if the entire tale of the Jewish Diaspora is historically wrong? Which of course it is !!
“It’s all fiction and myth that served as an excuse for the establishment of the State of Israel.”
What if the Palestinian Arabs who have lived for decades under the heel of the modern Israeli state are in fact descended from the very same “children of Israel” described in the Old Testament?
And what if most modern Israelis aren’t descended from the ancient Israelites at all, but are actually a mix of Europeans, North Africans and others who didn’t “return” to the scrap of land we now call Israel and establish a new state following the attempt to exterminate them during World War II, but came in and forcefully displaced people whose ancestors had lived there for millennia?
What if the entire tale of the Jewish Diaspora — the story recounted at Passover tables by Jews around the world every year detailing the ancient Jews’ exile from Judea, the years spent wandering through the desert, their escape from the Pharaoh’s clutches — is all wrong?
That’s the explosive thesis of When and How Was the Jewish People Invented?, a book by Tel Aviv University scholar Shlomo Zand (or Sand) that sent shockwaves across Israeli society when it was published last year. After 19 weeks on the Israeli best-seller list, the book is being translated into a dozen languages and will be published in the United States this year by Verso.
Its thesis has ramifications that go far beyond some antediluvian academic debate. Few modern conflicts are as attached to ancient history as that decades-long cycle of bloodletting between Israelis and Palestinians. Each group lays claim to the same scrap of land — holy in all three of the world’s major Abrahamic religions — based on long-standing ties to that chunk of earth and national identities formed over long periods of time. There’s probably no other place on Earth where the present is as intimately tied to the ancient.
Central to the ideology of Zionism is the tale — familiar to all Jewish families — of exile, oppression, redemption and return. Booted from their kingdom by the Romans around 2,000 years ago, the “Jewish people” — sons and daughters of ancient Judea — wandered the earth, rootless, where they faced cruel suppression from all corners — from being forced to toil in slavery under the Egyptians, to the Spanish massacres of the 14th century and Russian pogroms of the 19th, through to the horrors of the Third Reich.
This view of history animates all Zionists, but none more so than the influential but reactionary minority — in the United States as well as Israel — who believe that God bestowed a “Greater Israel” — one that encompasses the modern state as well as the Occupied Territories — on the Jewish people, and who resist any effort to create a Palestinian state on biblical grounds.
Inventing a People? CALL THEM ZIONIST !!
There never was a Jewish people, only a Jewish religion, and the exile also never happened — hence there was no return. Zand rejects most of the stories of national-identity formation in the Bible, including the exodus from Egypt and, most satisfactorily, the horrors of the conquest under Joshua.
The transformation of the Jewish people from a group with a shared cultural identity and religious faith into a vanquished “people” — was a relatively recent invention, hatched in the 19th century by Zionist scholars and advanced by the Israeli academic establishment.
NOW, Monitoring Middle East Studies on Campus. … Israel in the American Classroom .
Campus Watch has been widely accused of intimidating US scholars who have expressed views critical of US and Israeli policies in the Middle East. The organisation’s goal, according to critics, is to pressure US universities to avoid hiring left-wing lecturers or awarding them tenure.
“Students who study here need to know who their lecturers are, and if there are lecturers who oppose the state of Israel it is important to publish their names.”
Eliminate “TRUTH” from the equation, target professors for criticising the occupation, joining protests against Israel’s separation wall, signing petitions or attending conferences critical of Israel, defending the UN report of Judge Richard Goldstone on last winter’s attack on Gaza, or calling for a boycott of Israel.
Any professor, politician, religious leader, or author who opens a discussion critical of Israeli-USA policies have their opinions condemned as “morally repugnant” and warning that they are “welcome to search for a personal and professional home elsewhere”.
An occupation based on lies and genocide cannot afford to have freedom of speech and expression locally or on international level. Isrealis with their powerful Jewish lobby groups in North America and Europe – and the Zionist monopoly on western mainstream media – demand that all their Zionazi activities be kept under the carpet and instead their Palestinian and Lebanese victims be blamed for everything which goes wrong in the Middle East.
The latest example of Israeli rudeness is their on-going diplomatic war with Turkey as result of Turkey TV showing the true nature of Israelis.
All 50 states of the USA have chapters of these foreign lobbies located with-in the state, influencing all State governments, universities, and polling places.
We are and have been facing a coup d’etat, most evident with the 2000 and 2004 elections.
The hopeful 2006 & 2008 elections have not paid off for the American people.
THE FIX IS STILL PRESENT AND SEEMINGLY WILL STAY SO. THE CORRUPTION CONTINUES IN BOTH PARTIES UNABATED.

A modest proposal:
Since American citizens have been deprived of any right to privacy and must live their lives subject to video and telephone and internet surveillance, data-mining, and monitoring by their government, I propose that voters call or write their elected representatives and demand that legislation be passed in the Senate and House mandating continuous video, telephone and internet surveillance of all elected officials , with the results to be broadcast in real time and freely available to the public on a multi-channel public-access television network along the lines of C-SPAN. Furthermore, I propose that those voters also inform their elected representatives that they will not re-elect them UNLESS they support the aforementioned legislation — Don’t allow anyone to hold office who is AFRAID to have his/her political activities kept under scrutiny.
The reactions of our so-called representatives in Congress should be very enlightening … If they resist, as they predictably will, they will be forced to assert the inherently unconstitutional legal principle that citizens who hold public office are allowed to possess rights of which the citizens they represent have been deprived (ironically, as a result of electing them to office) — underscoring the reality that, in “government,” a small minority accrues rights only at the expense of the majority, not just inequitably but also unjustly, since the rights THEY keep are the very same rights they’ve stolen from US. Defending a two-tier, selective “Bill of Rights” that allows rulers to claim fundamental constitutional rights that are withheld from the ruled will make for an interesting day in court.

Good post, I’ve been giving a lot of thought to this already. I’d go a step further. Each person in Government must take lie detector tests. Given such questions as
have they ever taken a bribe?
violated the logan act?
Have you ever received any gifts?
Has anyone ever offered you anything as an incentive to vote or not vote a certain way?
List all the organizations you belong to, including any secret societies!
Are you aware of any corruption inside of Government?
Are you aware of any cover ups?
Have you ever stolen tax payer money?
Have you furthered special interests groups with the idea that you may work for them later?
Was you sincere when you took and oath to defend the constitution against both foreign and domestic enemy’s?
Have you ever lied to the American people?
Has anyone in government, politics or special interest helped your campaign?
Have you ever been threatened or motivated by fear by fellow politicians?
I think if we put the politicians under the spotlight rather than the citizens we would save a lot of tax payer money, fight corruption, have more honest debates and truly a government for the people by the people and of the people.

Since 1937 Marijuana has been illegal.
According to Senate testimonies at that time, Marijuana cases “murder, insanity and death.”
Harry Anslinger (America’s first Drug Czar) also demonized the plant and supported racist views in order to outlaw it. “Marihuana (as it was spelled back then) influences Negroes to look at white people in the eye, step on white men’s shadows and look at a white woman twice.”
During the 1930s, which was one of America’s most economically troubled times, many western states feared Mexican immigrants who were willing to work for less money. So they jumped on the anti-marijuana band wagon as a way to deport them.
William Randolf Hearst, a newspaper owner, also had invested heavily in the timber industry, which was in competition with the hemp paper industry. Thus he used his newspaper to further demonize the plant.
John D. Rockefeller, who was in the oil industry, saw that hemp was in direct competition with nylon (a petroleum base fiber) and other products his company was attempting to produce. Thus he used his powerful influence to rally bureaucrats against the plant.
Since then, marijuana has became the leading cause of arrests in America. In fact, if not for marijuana arrests the DEA would not make enough arrests for other substances to justify the budgets allocated to them by the federal government. It is a fact that more people are in prison for marijuana use than for all other drugs combined. It is also a fact that the War on Drugs is America’s longest war (a civil war against our own citizens), and since it’s beginning: enough money has been handed over to the DEA to send every single American to a four star drug treatment center, twice.
Furthermore, America is home to only 4% of the worlds population, yet it houses about 26% of the worlds prisoners. 59% of those prisoners are behind bars for marijuana, and 86% of them are behind bars for simple possession (not for the sale of marijuana).
It is also a fact that no one has ever died of marijuana, yet alcohol kills (on average) over 70,000 American’s each year (both in related health issues and in car crashes). The alcohol industry rakes in over $25.4 billion per year and alcohol companies spend millions each year vie political lobbying, and are the biggest opponent of marijuana legalization (pharmaceutical companies are the second biggest).
Isn’t it time for a change?

I grew up in a small Michigan town. My parents used to be factory workers, but now they’ve joined the ever growing number of Michigan’s unemployed. Neither my brother nor myself had any real strategy for adulthood. He joined the Michigan National Guard; where he earned his EMT license and an all expense paid trip to Iraq. I tried to hold down a job, but lay-offs and down-sizing eventually led me to go to college. Now I have a Master’s Degree, over a hundred-grand of debt, and no job to show for it.
Now more than ever I question what the hell is going on in Washington, and why are they wasting so much of our money?
First of all, the TARP funds that have been handed to the greedy Wall Street bankers (the last people you would think to give money to) could have paid off all federal student loans. It also could have paid off every home in America. This would have stimulated the economy far more than bailing out Wall Street could or would.
Secondly, the empire that is America’s defense department, has military bases in over a hundred different countries (most of whom do not want us there). Closing these bases would save America enough money to provide health care for every single citizen. Not to mention America spends more on defense than all other countries combined (in the name of “peace-keeping,” another word for “war”) and I for one am sick of being know as the policeman of the globe.
Thirdly, the money allocated to the DEA since the beginning of the WAR ON DRUGS (America’s longest and most expensive war, which is a civil war against our own people) could have sent every single American to a drug treatment center (twice). Furthermore, if marijuana was legal, there wouldn’t be enough arrests for other substances to justify the DEA’s budget to begin with.
Fourthly, congressmen are paid (on average) five times what their constituent earns. In addition to being highly unconstitutional, this ensures that these people will never represent the average American.
Fifthly, corporate welfare is a crewel joke. This system spits in the face of hard working Americans. Furthermore, corporations get rich of the backs of hard working people, who are in turn laid-off for their dedication to the company. This is disgusting, yet completely legal and encouraged by our current government policies.
If all of this money was spent on infrastructure and technology advancement (instead of waisted on greedy bastards) we would have national health care, education for all, a strong economy, and we would have already started colonizing Mars.

I realize this is not a Civil War message board, but I have heard of what you said about President Lincoln.
I don’t think it’s fair that some people blame President Lincoln for the Civil War. It takes two to do the tango, and President Lincoln bend over backwards to accommodate the South. He also took an oath to preserve the Union, & the rebel army started the war by firing on Fort Sumpter. They never even gave him a chance. They refused to compromise.
I am a very patriotic person, and a huge supporter of the U.S. troops…..past, present, & future. I have not always agreed with the Federal government. However, I would never consider treason again my country, so I cannot relate to Johnny Reb. I didn’t always agree with what President Bush said and did while he was President, but that doesn’t mean I’d go support Bin Laden.

Fort Sumpter was fired upon because the north refused to remove the federal troops located there. So, the north had troops stationed inside of the the south without the south’s permission. So, in my view, and the view of many, is that the north officially started the war. Firing a shot is not the only act of war, you know.
Lincoln = Worst president in US history.

Lincoln is only the worst president if you think at least two “States of America” is preferable to a “United States of America.” The South had been working towards a war of separation for years by changing the rules whenever they started to lose political power.
The Civil War was about slavery and oppressive state’s rights versus a united federal government.

Happy New Year Sir.
Hopefully last year was a eye opener for most of the normal Americans. We losing our Constitution becouse we losing our Christianity, whitch is the foundation of our Constitution.
We must kick out every member of congress and senate who
represent somebody, but not us, democrat or republican.
The new members must be first Americans, than dem. rep. or Independent. Don’t forget for the bright future of this nation,
our public schools are the number one enemy.

Good evening Sir,
Tonight I sent the following message to each of my Wisconsin Senators and Representatives as we pass into 2010.
Thanks to the birth of my son, Chase Alexander Olson, I will consider 2009 to be one of my best years. I also, however, believe that 2009 was one of the worst years for the United States in many ways. Despite this, I am still hopeful for our country, and I look forward to 2010.
I spent some time tonight collectively reviewing your biographies, bills, sponsorships and records of pubic service, and I can say that I’m not disappointed with what I’ve read. I may not agree with all of your accomplishments, but overall, you are all a good read, and it is my opinion that you’ve done some great things in your political careers. I assume that I may feel the same way about each of our Senate and Congressional member’s public service records if I took the time to review all of their web sites. This leaves me wondering, why, if we are doing all of these great things, is our country’s moral, social condition and financial standing in such a bad state? In a nutshell, I firmly believe that 90% of our nation’s problems stem from disregarding the original intent of the U.S. Constitution, and more importantly, rampant corruption within our government and corporate institutions.
Corruption comes in many forms. We have our obvious corruption involving bribes, payoffs and other shameful illegal activities (Rod R. Blagojevich), and then we have other forms of corruption that are less obvious to most, and are often regarded as mere politics. I have to tell you that I believe that the latter is as damaging to our way of life as the former. I am a military officer, so there is less gray area in my mind in what constitutes corruption than the average American. It is my belief that a bribe is a bribe, treachery is treachery, and deceit is deceit–no matter what kind of face or disguise someone puts on it. The current system of lobbying, a tit for a tat, pork barrel spending, bailouts, utilizing public time and money for adulteress affairs, reckless spending, and excessive taxation are all forms of the corruption that is most damaging to the fabric of our country.
I hold my 7 month old son on my lap each night when I get home from work, and I wonder what is going to be left for him? What is his life going to be like in 40 years for his generation? My outlook is grim, because I correctly recognize that if we let our nation slip as it has in the past 10-20 years, he is going to be left with a 3rd world country lacking in morals, compassion and the constitutional rights we have fought and bled for over the past 233 years. I believe firmly that in order for my son to thrive as the generations before him, we must support the constitution that provides for his freedom, and rid our nation of the corruption that has invaded our business and government institutions.
Before you represent, sponsor or vote, I would urge all of you to be less concerned with the lobbyists and the status quo, but instead consider the long term effect and consequences that your decision is going to have on our country. Before you attempt to digest the words of a colleague, your political party or a lobbyist group, I would ask you to first to consider if the process passes the litmus test of honor, integrity, courage and commitment. Is the proposal doing the right thing, in the right way, for the right reason, or is it just a band aid which will momentarily satisfy a portion of the American public and your colleagues at the detriment of the next generations? Does your decision uphold the trust and confidence in which our constitution and the people of whom you represent require? Will your decision be considered responsible and reasonable if you were to actually be held accountable for your actions? Recent history has shown me that we are on the road to destroying the middle class in the process of punishing the rich, in order to empower the poor. In the end, the rich will still have more, the poor will still have less, and the middle class will be dissolved and incorporated into much less than they had before. If a government official believes that it is acceptable for a public official to accept a bribe in the form of public funding, or a promotion to lead a more powerful committee, then they are part of the problem. Even more so, if they disregard and ignore such behavior, then they shall consider themselves a bridge within the corruption process.
I would like to ask each of you to be selfless in your future decision making processes by putting self interests, status quo and the urge for power and control aside, and instead formulate your decision making processes utilizing honor, courage, teamwork and commitment to your country. I also urge you to work together on the crucial issues, and fix the problems caused by the lack of proper leadership, lack of accountability and the destructive corruption we see day in and day out. Before you raise my taxes, I would like to see you flush out the corruption and be responsible with the taxes I’ve already provided you. I also expect you to shun and punish such behavior and actions of those who are wasteful and corrupt. It takes courage and a strong commitment to values to do the right thing every day.
Let me leave you all with one last thought. How safe would America be if we as Officers led out military the same way the Senate, Congress and Executive branch has led this country? Imagine a U.S. military saturated with division and corruption, while lacking responsibility, accountability, discipline and leadership. How effective would we be in the defense of this country? Now, imagine a U.S. government led by Americans who lead by example, maintain high standards and integrity, uphold trust and confidence, and place honor and the welfare of the country, the constitution and the American people above all else.

Sir, your Nation needs your help. Regardless of me being in or not being in your District –
I am a Texan and calling on all Texans to stand up for this country.
There is talk about a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution. I am sure you know the process to get an amendment into the constitution.
The amendment must be short and to the point and expediently moved to a vote from the states – we have no time to lose. It must solve many of the problems not just one. The US Congress is and has been out of control. The problems are beyond just current bills – the problems include Congress using ear marks with our tax money to buy local votes so they can stay with the elite. Criminal! They are too entrenched and feel they can stay as long as they want.
If you concur with the following make it happen!
Proposed 28th Amendment to the US Constitution!
“Congress shall make no law that applies to any citizen of the United States that does not apply equally to all US Senators and Representatives and all employees of the Legislative Brach. Congress shall make no law that applies to any US Senator or Representative that does not apply equally to all citizens of the United States.
No persons will serve in Congress, US Senators and Representatives, in excess of eight total years and no member of Congress will receive any pension, fees, or benefits subsequent to departure from congress as a result from serving in Congress.
Congressional pay and benefit increase must be approved by two thirds of the State Legislatures.
All existing laws and regulations that do not meet these criteria shall be declared null and void!”
Some one needs tell Gov Perry to call a special session and get it rolling in Texas – let’s have Texas take the lead.
Let’s take our country back from the elite.

Captain Holladay:
I am 100% behind you in your notion for the 28th Amendment to the Constitution. Watching what was happening in this country for the past decade I came to the same conclusion long ago, but 2009 made this conviction even stronger. There should be no special benefit to serve in the House or in the Senate. Only people committed to this country’s progress and sustainability should be entering the People’s House. Otherwise, long terms corrupt with power and influence and no one, except for a few, can stand the urge for longer terms, more power and more benefits for the members of Congress. By limiting the term in Congress we will accomplish a very important thing – get most attorneys out of our House and get normal people to serve.
If we will be able to accomplish the term limit in Congress and a flat income tax for all working, the country will start moving back to its constitutional intention.
If you do not object, I mat paraphrase your letter and send it to all Representatives and Senators in Virginia.

Leonid Kelner, or anyone else for that matter – feel free to paraphrase or quote me. We are in this together. Yes, get Virginia behind this.
I have contacted numbers folks in the Texas House and will work on more soon.
Each state needs to stand tall and demand this or a very similar amendment.
By the way – each day we are running out of time – just read the news (AP & Reuters & Drudge, even Yahoo News)

To Leonid Kelner Captain Holladay and all other talking heads:
from albel1@aol.com
Is it fun being intellectual and going on about changing this law and amending that over and over again? hasn’t “thought” been done to death? I don’t think your words are impressing anyone anymore. All it is doing is showing your weak and cowardly and delusional. Even if this or that were changed government would still just break that law – you’re a fool if you think different (at this point)! Get some courage – get out and DO SOMETHING rather than rant and rave. Get some guts and make a real plan!!! Gathering like minded people in direct contact (not on boards like this)is a start.
Step up big mouth(s)- do something!!!
I am not a radical or a crackpot. I just long to be free and to be amongst others with the same desire and courage to be set free. I am a selfless follower looking to be led by selfless leaders. Are there willing souls to lead?

Make the 28th amendment for a flat income tax applied to all income, especially politicians.
Make the 29th term limits with a limit on post service support.
And remove the political party designations from the ballots so people would have to research the candidates to even vote the party line.

SHOULD WE TRUST ANYONE IN GOVERNMENT??
Total Contractors, aka Mercenaries, Will be 130,000 to 160,000, in Afghanistan :
They secured the Oil fields of Iraq, now
they will secure the poppy fields of
Afghanistan all for the Organized Crime
syndicate that is controlling much of
our government today.
Where is the companions of the China
cocaine deal presently??
Wouldn’t we destroy the fields other wise??
Do we trust any official this day and age??
Afghanistan now supplies over 90 percent of the world’s heroin, generating nearly $200 billion in revenue. Since the U.S. invasion on Oct. 7, 2001, opium output has increased 33-fold (to over 8,250 metric tons a year).
The U.S. has been in Afghanistan for over seven years, has spent $177 billion in that country alone, and has the most powerful and technologically advanced military on Earth. GPS tracking devices can locate any spot imaginable by simply pushing a few buttons.
Still, bumper crops keep flourishing year after year, even though heroin production is a laborious, intricate process. The poppies must be planted, grown and harvested; then after the morphine is extracted it has to be cooked, refined, packaged into bricks and transported from rural locales across national borders. To make heroin from morphine requires another 12-14 hours of laborious chemical reactions. Thousands of people are involved, yet—despite the massive resources at our disposal—heroin keeps flowing at record levels.
Common sense suggests that such prolific trade over an extended period of time is no accident, especially when the history of what has transpired in that region is considered. While the CIA ran its operations during the Vietnam War, the Golden Triangle supplied the world with most of its heroin. After that war ended in 1975, an intriguing event took place in 1979 when Zbigniew Brzezinski covertly manipulated the Soviet Union into invading Afghanistan.
Behind the scenes, the CIA, along with Pakistan’s ISI, were secretly funding Afghanistan’s mujahideen to fight their Russian foes. Prior to this war, opium production in Afghanistan was minimal. But according to historian Alfred McCoy, an expert on the subject, a shift in focus took place. “Within two years of the onslaught of the CIA operation in Afghanistan, the Pakistan-Afghanistan borderlands became the world’s top heroin producer.”
Soon, as Professor Michel Chossudovsky notes, “CIA assets again controlled the heroin trade. As the mujahideen guerrillas seized territory inside Afghanistan, they ordered peasants to plant poppies as a revolutionary tax. Across the border in Pakistan, Afghan leaders and local syndicates under the protection of Pakistan intelligence operated hundreds of heroin laboratories.”
Eventually, the Soviet Union was defeated (their version of Vietnam), and ultimately lost the Cold War. The aftermath, however, proved to be an entirely new can of worms. During his research, McCoy discovered that “the CIA supported various Afghan drug lords, for instance Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. The CIA did not handle heroin, but it did provide its drug lord allies with transport, arms, and political protection.”
By 1994, a new force emerged in the region—the Taliban—that took over the drug trade. Chossudovsky again discovered that “the Americans had secretly, and through the Pakistanis [specifically the ISI], supported the Taliban’s assumption of power.”
These strange bedfellows endured a rocky relationship until July 2000 when Taliban leaders banned the planting of poppies. This alarming development, along with other disagreements over proposed oil pipelines through Eurasia, posed a serious problem for power centers in the West. Without heroin money at their disposal, billions of dollars could not be funneled into various CIA black budget projects. Already sensing trouble in this volatile region, 18 influential neo-cons signed a letter in 1998 which became a blueprint for war—the infamous Project for a New American Century (PNAC).
Fifteen days after 9-11, CIA Director George Tenet sent his top-secret Special Operations Group (SOG) into Afghanistan. One of the biggest revelations in Tenet’s book, At the Center of the Storm, was that CIA forces directed the Afghanistan invasion, not the Pentagon.
In the Jan. 26, 2003, issue of Time magazine, Douglas Waller describes Donald Rumsfeld’s reaction to this development. “When aides told Rumsfeld that his Army Green Beret A-Teams couldn’t go into Afghanistan until the CIA contingent had lain the groundwork with local warlords, he erupted, ‘I have all these guys under arms, and we’ve got to wait like little birds in a nest for the CIA to let us go in?’”
ARMITAGE A MAJOR PLAYER
But the real operator in Afghanistan was Richard Armitage, a man whose legend includes being the biggest heroin trafficker in Cambodia and Laos during the Vietnam War; director of the State Department’s Foreign Narcotics Control Office (a front for CIA drug dealing); head of the Far East Company (used to funnel drug money out of the Golden Triangle); a close liaison with Oliver North during the Iran-Contra cocaine-for-guns scandal; a primary Pentagon official in the terror and covert ops field under George Bush the Elder; one of the original signatories of the infamous PNAC document; and the man who helped CIA Director William Casey run weapons to the mujahideen during their war against the Soviet Union. Armitage was also stationed in Iran during the mid-1970s right before Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini overthrew the shah. Armitage may well be the greatest covert operator in U.S. history.
On Sept. 10, 2001, Armitage met with the UK’s national security advisor, Sir David Manning. Was Armitage “passing on specific intelligence information about the impending terrorist attacks”? The scenario is plausible because one day later—on 9-11—Dick Cheney directly called for Armitage’s presence down in his bunker. Immediately after WTC 2 was struck, Armitage told BBC Radio, “I was told to go to the operations center [where] I spent the rest of the day in the ops center with the vice president.”
These two share a long history together. Not only was Armitage employed by Cheney’s former company Halliburton (via Brown & Root), he was also a deputy when Cheney was secretary of defense under Bush the Elder. More importantly, Cheney and Armitage had joint business and consulting interests in the Central Asian pipeline which had been contracted by Unocal. The only problem standing between them and the Caspian Sea’s vast energy reserves was the Taliban.
Since the 1980s, Armitage amassed a huge roster of allies in Pakistan’s ISI. He was also one of the “Vulcans”—along with Condi Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and Rabbi Dov Zakheim—who coordinated Bush’s geo-strategic foreign policy initiatives. Then, after 9-11, he negotiated with the Pakistanis prior to our invasion of Afghanistan, while also becoming Bush’s deputy secretary of state stationed in Afghanistan.
Our “enemy,” or course, was the Taliban “terrorists.” But George Tenet, Colin Powell, Porter Goss, and Armitage had developed a close relationship with Pakistan’s military head of the ISI—General Mahmoud Ahmad— who was cited in a Sept. 2001 FBI report as “supporting and financing the alleged 9-11 terrorists, as well as having links to al Qaeda and the Taliban.”
The line between friend and foe gets even murkier. Afghan President Hamid Karzai not only collaborated with the Taliban, but he was also on Unocal’s payroll in the mid-1990s. He is also described by Saudi Arabia’s Al-Watan newspaper as being “a Central Intelligence Agency covert operator since the 1980s that collaborated with the CIA in funding U.S. aid to the Taliban.”
Capturing a new, abundant source for heroin was an integral part of the U.S. “war on terror.” Hamid Karzai is a puppet ruler of the CIA; Afghanistan is a full-fledged narco-state; and the poppies that flourish there have yet to be eradicated, as was proven in 2003 when the Bush administration refused to destroy the crops, despite having the chance to do so. Major drug dealers are rarely arrested, smugglers enjoy carte blanche immunity, and Nushin Arbabzadah, writing for The Guardian, theorized that “U.S. Army planes leave Afghanistan carrying coffins empty of bodies, but filled with drugs.” Is that why the military protested so vehemently when reporters tried to photograph returning caskets?

In short, many of the groups now supported (or tolerated) by the United States and NATO are important actors in the drug trade

The warehouse, Kestral Logistics, is working as the subcontractor of Xe Worldwide or Blackwater, The Nation reports. According to sources, the company has arms deals with Blackwater and is importing heavy arms and ammunition for the US company for its ongoing illicit operations in Pakistan. [Wow. WHAT EVERYONE KNOWS, BUT AFRAID TO SAY SO.
“THE TRUTH”
TORAH JEWS WILL TAKE CLASS
ACTION;
Today in Bilin Palestinian, Israeli, and International activists joined together for yet another non-violent protest against the apartheid wall and Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land. Demonstrators of all ages holding signs and Palestinian flags marched to the apartheid fence (also referred to as a wall) where they were met with sound bombs and tear gas. Dozens suffered from severe tear gas inhalation.
Today, activists managed to pull open the yellow gate next to the fence, after cutting through the surrounding barbed wire. This gate is regularly used by the army to invade and harass the people of Bilin. Beyond the gate you can see the Israeli army’s current encampment as well as fields and olive trees belonging to Palestinian families from Bilin. The apartheid wall usurps 60% of the village’s land.
International demonstrator T.D. commented, “All the values and principles of morality that we know have been completely inverted and perverted here, its Orwellian.” His placard read, “War monger Obama receives Nobel Peace Prize.” Another sign read: Rouge criminal state Israel: The only “democracy” in the Middle East.
True Torah Jews against Zionism:
Zionists Do Not Represent Jews
From the inception of the Zionist State and particularly in recent times, the impression has been created in the World that there is some connection between the State, which falsely calls itself Israel, and the Jewish people as a whole. Therefore, we who continue to uphold the never-changing tradition of the Jewish people find it proper to again clarify the following points:
A Jew is one who remains faithful to the laws of the Jewish religion, that is, the Holy Torah and its commandments.
The Jewish people became a people before they had their own land, and continued to exist as a people also after they went Into exile, because our very people hood is based exclusively on the Torah.
The Holy Land was given to the Jewish people on the condition that they observe the Torah and its commandments. When they failed to do this, their sovereignty over the land was taken from them, and they went into exile. From that time, we are prohibited by the Torah with a very grave prohibition to establish a Jewish independent sovereignty in the Holy Land or anywhere throughout the world. Rather, we are obligated to be loyal to the nations under whose protection we dwell.
This situation has existed for close to 2000 years when the Jewish people were dispersed throughout all corners of the world. During this time, the Jews always remained faithful to the country in which they lived.
The Jewish people are grateful to all those merciful nations which have allowed them to observe Torah and the commandments undisturbed.
From ancient times, the relations between the Jewish and Islamic peoples have always been those of peace and brotherhood, and friendship always reigned between them. The proof of this is the fact that for centuries, in all the Arab lands, hundreds of thousands of Jews lived in honor and amidst mutual esteem.
Jews throughout all generations yearned to grace the sacred soil of the Holy Land and to live there. However, their sole purpose was to fulfill the commandments dependent upon the land and to absorb Its holiness. Never, G-d forbid, did they have any nationalist or sovereign intent whatsoever which, as mentioned above, is forbidden to us. Indeed, also here in the Holy Land, our fathers lived in neighborly harmony with the Palestinian residents of the land, helping one another, to mutual benefit.
Until about two hundred years ago, the vast majority of Jews observed the Torah and the commandments in entirety. Jewry’s leaders were Torah scholars, who directed the people according to the Torah. They were loyal citizens in the host nations where they dwelled and to the local laws. They prayed for the welfare of their respective governments. To our sorrow, at that time a small number of Jews slowly left their observance of Torah and commandments. Together with this, they began to deride the spiritual leadership of their people. This assimilation was the basis upon which, one hundred years ago, the ideology of Zionism was born. Its founders were assimilated Jews who had abandoned the Torah.
Immediately at the founding of the Zionist movement, masses of Jews under the leadership of their Rabbis, launched a heavy battle against Zionism. Their attack was directed not only at the non-religious Zionist idea, but rather, primarily at its opposition to the Torah-ordained path that Jewry must follow while in exile. As such, the Zionists incited the nations of the world, demanding political sovereignty over the Holy Land while remaining oblivious to the resentment this would arouse In the Palestinian Arabs, the land’s veteran inhabitants. As stated, the leaders of Orthodox Jewry vehemently opposed the movement with all force.
The Zionists refused to heed the voice of the Rabbis and Torah authority. They persisted in their ways until they succeeded in influencing the British government to issue the Balfour Declaration concerning the “establishment of a national home for the Jews in the land of Israel.” To our great sorrow, from that point on began the deterioration of the good relations between the Jews and the Arab inhabitants of the land. This occurred because the Arab people understood that the Zionists wished to seize ruler ship from them. In addition, the Arab people had suspicions as if the Jewish people wished to seize control of the Temple Mount and other similar sites. Matters worsened as a result.
The Jewish leadership of that time saw it as proper to clarify before the Arab leaders that the Torah-true Jews had no desire whatsoever for sovereignty, and that our desire was to continue to live in peace with the Arabs, as we had always done. The leader of the G-d-fearing Jewish community at that time, Rabbi Yoseph Chaim Zonnenfeld. of blessed memory, organized a delegation in July of 24′ which visited King Hussein and his sons Faisal the King of Iraq and the Amir Abdullah In order to lucidly present to them the position of the G-d-fearing Jewish community. The Jewish delegation clarified unequivocally that Torah Jewry is totally opposed to the Zionist sovereignty over the Holy Land. It Is worth noting that the delegation was received with great honor. They were even assured that all Arab lands were completely open to Jews, however, on the condition that the Jews do not demand political rights. This condition also applied to the Holy Land. One of the members of the Jewish delegation, Professor Yisroel Yaakov De Haan, paid with his life for his participation.
Torah Jewry protests at every opportunity against the Zionist rule over the Holy Land, and the Zionist rebellion against the neighboring nations. Torah Jewry has condemned the Zionist oppression of the Palestinians, the land’s veteran inhabitants who have been driven from their homes and properties. The Zionists’ barbaric and violent deeds are absolutely antithetical to the essence of the Jewish people.
Torah Jewry has never ever recognized the Zionist state. Since the Zionists succeeding in establishing their state, Torah Jewry has continuously announced to the world that the Zionists do not represent the Jewish people, and that the name “Israel” that they use is a forgery. For as has been stated above, it is forbidden to us from the Torah to rebel against the nations, and all sovereignty by us is prohibited. Rather, we await the days when all the world will recognize the sovereignty of the Creator, and the words of the prophet Isaiah will yet be fulfilled: “And they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. No nation will lift its sword against any other, nor will they learn warfare anymore.”
Anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews have refrained to this day from taking any funds from the Zionist regime, whether for their educational institutions, synagogues or other benefits. Obviously, they do not participate in the Zionist elections, whether for the “Knesset” or for the municipality. We do not serve in their army, and we even avoid speaking in the Hebrew language that the Zionists Invented. (incidentally, this is not the holy and true Hebrew language in which the Bible is written.) All this is done because Torah Jewry does not recognize the Zionist regime, which Is against the Torah and against humanity.
Lately, the question has once again arisen concerning the Temple Mount and sovereignty over it. Thus, we wish to state unequivocally: a) In our time, it is a severe Torah prohibition for any Jew to set foot on any part of the Temple Mount area. b) The Jewish people have no claim whatsoever to sovereignty over this holy site, which is under Islamic authority, nor over any other holy site. Rabbi Zonenfeld was once asked, “is it true, that the Rabbi prefers an non-Jewish government over all of the Holy Land”? Rabbi Zonenfeld replied, “if King Hussein would rule over Palestine, the holiness of the Holy Land would not be diminished to even to an Iota degree”. We yearningly await G-d’s great day, when He will return His Divine Presence to Zion, restoring the holy city to its former holiness and glory as in days of old, to be a light to the peoples and the nations.
The Zionists have no right of any sovereignty over even one inch of the Holy Land. They do not represent the Jewish people in any way whatsoever. They have no right to speak in the name of the Jewish people. Therefore, their words, declarations and actions are not in any way representative of the Jewish people. This is because the Zionists’ seizing of power over the Holy Land is antithetical to Jewish law, and also because the Zionists do not behave like Jews at all rather, they desecrate the sanctity of the land.
We once again clarify that it is our desire to live in peace with our Arab and Palestinian neighbors, as we did before the Zionist revolution, and as Jews all over the world till today live, accepting the yoke of rulership of their host nation, with complete loyalty. Our sole desire is to serve our G-d and to fulfill His commandments with a perfect heart and to delight in the radiance of the sanctity of the Land.
PUT THE “HOUSE’ IN ORDER.
A LAST DITCH EFFORT
Every last tissue of belief in the GOVERNMENT should by now be shred and cast aside. The Democrats are no less the corporate bailers and militarists than the Republicans. They hand trillions to the banks and brokerage firms; they dissolve union contracts and send the workers to the dogs; their unmanned drones bomb Pakistan, killing and maiming innocents and displacing tens of thousands; they sell the same lies about the wars-that they have to do with terrorism or democracy rather than oil and other resources-as their predecessors; they fund the very enemy that they claim to fight; they keep up the same contracts with Blackwater and its successors; they vote for the same war funding; they carry out the same secret renditions; they sanction and continue the same spying on US citizens; they exonerate torturers and war criminals from the previous administration; they are war criminals in complicity with other war criminals. It is now obvious
to most that both parties have
sold the American people out to
organized crime. The corruption
and control continues on the same
path with the same special
interest groups in charge.
The 14 characteristics of Fascism
remain the same now as they did
for the previous eight years.
Where is the change promised, the
coalition of Zionist states continues.
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism – Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights – Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of “need.” The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause – The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
4. Supremacy of the Military – Even when there are widespread domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism – The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
6. Controlled Mass Media – Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
7. Obsession with National Security – Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined – Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government’s policies or actions.
9. Corporate Power is Protected – The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed – Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts – Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment – Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption – Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections – Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.

True Torah Jews against Zionism:
The Committee for the Open Discussion of Zionism (CODZ) was formed in September, 2007, in response to the efforts of certain Zionist organizations in the United States to suppress criticism of Israel and /or Zionism. These efforts, often successful, have included: pressuring academic institutions to deny tenure to faculty who have criticized Israeli policy; demanding the dismissal or suspension of pro-Palestinian teachers and administrators; instigating the denial of lecture and performance venues to critics of Israeli policy; and attempting to suppress distribution of books critical of Israel or Zionism.

Heal the War-Torn Economy
Stand up for Justice and Say No! To LOCKHEED MONSTER:
During the Great Depression of the 1930’s, homeless men built “shanty towns” around the country and called them “HOOVERVILLES”, after President Herbert Hoover who presided over the worst economic collapse in U.S. history.
Today, we face an economy torn apart by more than a half century of U.S. militarism, empire, and corporate war profiteering. U.S. military spending this year is estimated at $925 billion, a figure that doesn’t include funding for the U.S. occupation of Iraq and the even more costly and escalating war in Afghanistan. The cost of the two wars, funded by supplemental spending, now stands at $14 billion a month. Our country continues to be held in the grip of a war economy resulting in poverty, which Gandhi called “the greatest form of violence”, a culture of unmet human needs here at home, and war and misery for untold millions around the world.
Lockheed Martin is the world’s largest weapons contractor and war profiteer, receiving more than $42.7 billion of our tax dollars annually. War and weapons profits continue to take priority over the justice of a caring economy and society. Many suffer, so very few may profit. The price we pay is:

Dear Sir,
I am a Dutch citizen so I do not know if I’m entitled to give any comments towards the situation and political questions in your country.
A Dutch site has a video of an interview you had in 1988
http://zaplog.nl/zaplog/article/ron_paul_het_amerikaanse_machtssysteem
I was struck by your evaluation of the economic and political situation in that days. And you seem like a friendly person to me. Nowadays most reasonable people must know you were right. The crisis we are in and the depression we are heading for shows you were right 20 years ago. In those days your viewpoint was perhaps a minority vision. I don’t know if that was the case. I was a kid in those days.
Obama gave most people a little hope but I personally think it doesn’t matter who is in charge in your country. It’s more or less the same. Republican, democratic, who cares? On essential points it’s like a one party state to me.
I sure would prefer if more men with your stature could give the USA a spin in the right direction or even be in charge. Freedom is the most important factor in our lives and this should be handled carefully. Sometimes I get the opinion the whole west is running towards somekind of police state situation.
I wish you all the best and if I were an American I would surely vote for you and be an active member of your own party.
Kind regards,
Jean-Pierre Randazzo

I am a black man and I will be the first to say I am so embarassed that Obama has been elected in office. I am not one of those black people that are glad that a black man is President, and we been struggling for years, blah, blah, blah. I truly believe in you. You should’ve been President instead of Obama. You are a TRUE American and THE only hope for America to get back on its feet. I feel the same like you. I feel, leave other countries to take care of their own business.Stop pre-emptive war. The US is trying to police the whole world, yet not even taking care of its own. That is a hippocrate and a fool! Trying to clean up someone else home when yours is tore up from the floor up! I support you 110%. I am proud of YOU! Stay strong, stay true! This might seem strange to hear but the rest of the world is loosing confidence in the US and the day will come when EVERYONE will turn their backs on us.Possibly come against us,and at that time we will not be able to do nothing but be slaves to other nations. All we need to do is follow simple rules the forefathers have set and we would be the number one country.I am seriously considering moving to another country because the leaders representing America is wicked and corrupt.I had a dream one time that I loooked out the window and as far as i could see, their were helicopters, and they were NOT from the US!!!!

Pragmatic Populism and Economic Humanism
Dear Ron Paul,
“The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Political systems and politicians that follow this rule, succeed. All others, fail. This is premise of governance for pragmatic populism.
“The needs of the many outweigh the basis of the currency.” Economic systems that follow this rule prosper and grow. All others, fail. This is economic humanism. This is premise of economic policy for pragmatic populism.
Economic humanism leads to successful economic policy thru democratic money and currency management. The value of the dollar is placed firmly in the hands of a democratic government thru it’s right to print money. Money and currency are the people’s construct and exist solely to serve the needs of the many. All economic theory of markets, value, supply, demand, inflation, deflation, debt, surplus, investment, and return fall subordinate to this rule. This does not throw economic theory out the window. It simply subordinates all economic theory to the needs of the many.
Currency is derivative to a people’s values allowing efficient exchange, commerce, and investment. Currency, just paper, naturally reflects and is icon to the social, political, economic, and moral value of its people. This reflection is basic and unavoidable. The proper democratic determination of currency value leads to growth and prosperity. This is accomplished when “the needs of the many outweigh the basis of the currency”.
Economic humanism recognizes, respects, and factors for the human element of all monetary exchange. Economic humanism provides monetary transparency. It removes the shroud of mystery and ambiguity surrounding currency. Money is paper. The wizard behind the curtain is a printing press.
A dollar that does not serve the needs of the many is a dollar in need of revision and repair. Dollars in the hands of the few, used to exploit and manage the many, are dollars in need of revision and repair.

Pragmatic Populism and Economic Humanism
Dear Ron Paul,
“The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Political systems and politicians that follow this rule, succeed. All others, fail. This is the premise of pragmatic populism.
“The needs of the many outweigh the basis of the currency.” Economic systems that follow this rule prosper and grow. All others, fail. This is a premise of economic certainty followed by the pragmatic populist.
Economic humanism is the pragmatic populist position on money and currency management. Money and currency exists, solely, to serve the needs of the many. All economic theories of value, supply, demand, inflation, deflation, debt, surplus, investment, and return of a people’s currency, fall subordinate to this rule. This is not to say that economic theory is thrown out the window. It is to say that all economic theory, associated with a currency is subordinate to the needs of the many.
The certainty of this theory is supported by the simple fact that a people’s currency naturally reflects, is icon to, the social, political, economic, and moral value of its people. This reflection is unavoidable and basic to any people’s currency. The function of a currency is to serve the needs of the many under the basic premise of pragmatic populism. That is “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”.
Economic humanism is economic policy for pragmatic populism.
Economic humanism recognizes, respects, and factors for the human element of all monetary systems. Economic humanism provides monetary transparency to the many by taking the shroud off mysticism of money and currency. The wizard behind the curtain, for example, at the federal reserve is revealed for public and political scrutiny.
A dollar that does not serve the needs of the many is a dollar in need of revision and repair. Dollars in the hands of the few, used to exploit and manage the many, are dollars in need of revision and repair.

If Ron Paul ran, he would definatley have my vote. I believe in everything that Ron Paul stands for. I am happy because I’m am seeing on the web that alot of people know who he is and I see the same sentence going around, “If Ron Paul runs in 2012, he will win.” I do think he is going to run, why else would he continue fighting for freedom after 2008 debate and why else make those cool “Ron Paul For President 2012″ Tee’s=]

There never were WMD’s or terrorists until the money men in Washington saw the profitability of terrorism. Ask a few simple questions:
Who owned the Twin Towers on 9/11 (who did they buy it from, when, and for how much)?
Who made the insurance claims on the Twin Towers (who much did they get)?
Did they have terrorist insurance (that wasn’t a common policy prior to 9/11)?
When did they buy that insurance policy (was it just a short time before the attacks)?
Which insurance company did they deal with?
Who was in charge of air-port security?
Who was in charge of the Twin Tower’s security?
Which companies decided not to renew their lease at the Towers just prior to 9/11 (and why)?
Who bought and sold mass amounts of airline stocks in the weeks leading up to 9/11?
Who was controlling Opium production in Afghanistan prior to and during the war?
Who has received contracts to rebuild these poor countries our government has demolished?
How many rights have you given up since 9/11?
Why are we not allowed to debate the official 9/11 story?
Once you have the answers to these questions, you’ll start to see what this war is really about. It’s not about evil poor Middle-Eastern people living in caves. It’s about rich Washington bastards living in penthouses. Common sense will tell you that the people in the Middle-East have not profited from this war at all, but a lot of people on Wall Street have. Knowing this; who do you really think started this war?
So why hasn’t our government asked these simple questions?
Because “The first casualty of war is the always the TRUTH.”

I agree with everything you say. Isn’t it a shame big brother won’t ever let the truth be told. Now every time I hear Ron Paul expressing how the fed prints money out of thin air, I would also like to hear him express that every dollar given by the fed has a debt attached to it. Wouldn’t it wake the US people up in masses far quicker if everyone knew that the money which the fed creates out of thin air is given at interest? And that the fed is actually a privately owned corporation? That income tax is part of the fraud to pay off some of the self generating debt? I suspect Dr Paul is not speaking about this part of it because of the consequences which could emerge, that’s fair enough but come on Ron, everyone needs to know about this. We have the same system here in NZ. Our reserve bank prints money which is sold to us at interest, our income taxes and so on pay off some of the debt to the reserve bank which can never ever be fully repaid as the system makes it impossible to do so. It’s a damn fraud which enslaves people. Elite international bankers have been running the US since 1913 and most people don’t know.
Hey everyone, ask yourself something, how does the US end up being trillions in debt with it’s own federal reserve bank?? WTF??? Not true???? IT IS TRUE.
One day these bankers and politicians are going to be trialed for all the wars they started, all the famines they orchestrated, all the hate they have bred against Americans around the world.
All the people around the world that hate the US would actually like the average American person if they had a chance to meet, they have all been blinded by the bankers. It truly hurts me as a Kiwi and a close friend of the US that all the good people of the US have had their names intentionally slandered by the corrupt politicians and media whom are all pawns of the bankers.
It makes me sick.
Just search through youtube about NWO in New Zealand and see how little NZ has been used as lab-rats for these elites. Our prime minister used “CHANGE” as his motto to get popular, “sound familiar?” Now he is sending our troops to Afghanistan to help fight the fraudulent war which never should have happened. It’s no surprise all his buddies are the same bankers which are running the US government…what a coincidence! It was amazing how many people turned up here in Auckland for the “march for democracy” protest.
We’re all in this together, it’s not just the people of the US that need to stand up and say ” we’ve had enough” It’s all of us.

Good on you for being awake and sharp at your age, I hope there will be many other youths opening their eyes early too. A lot needs to be done if everyone wants Ron Paul to win, for a start, votes don’t help when the voting system is corrupted. The voting system needs to be monitored and done the old fashioned way and everyone needs to be turning their attention to the cause of all these problems more than anything else. The elite bankers and their evil associates. No matter how much people protest, no matter how many questions are asked, nothing will ever change as long as the government is crawling with puppets. Bankers, cut the head off the snake and the whole body dies. How it gets done is the big question.
What really gets me mad is these bankers and NWO globalists are all sitting back laughing while everyone complains about the health care system, Obama’s silly decisions and so on because the people are distracted by all this, keeping the bankers and their buddies out of the spotlight. The art of distraction comes in many forms.
While everyone was ranting on about the idiots in the government, India purchased 200 tonnes of gold from the US. Aint hard to see what’s going on here.

America – The Battles Of The First Bullet-Less War.
America is in a full blown war! America is being attacked on all fronts. Armies of millions of soldiers are invading all towns, cities and geographical areas. The enemy armies are blundering pillaging and destroying all American life. Is this a joke? – No
The enemy army is larger than any other army before. The soldiers number in the millions. The enemy is not using conventional weapons. They have invented new and more powerful weapons than have ever been seen before. These weapons are more powerful than guns and tanks, atom bombs, poisons, or any of imaginable scale. The armies and weapons are undetectable by sight, sound, smell, taste, touch or feel. There are no ringing of bullets, exploding bombs, falling buildings, rustling of troops, forts of soldiers or any other signs of enemies to be found. The enemy is not huddled or bunkered down – no marching armies to be found. There are no supply lines to follow – no battalions to be found. The enemy is not killing a sole – there mission is to conquer like never before. A war that does not show its destruction is a more sinister than any war before. The enemy will conquer and control us all before anyone even knew there was a real war. The battles rage while those being attached go on about their chores. Day after day goes by while the enemy pucks our soles, assets and well-being while the majority remains oblivious to the war.
This all sounds like a fantasy so ridiculous it makes one laugh. Yet, as outrageous as it may seem or sound – it’s true and deadly like nothing ever seen before. This is the war America is in – a war most have never yet seen – a war as deadly as any battle of any war ever fought – yet its not detected or even seen.
A war is visualized by most as a thing of death and destruction – that is the conventional way to think of war. A war that shows no sings of death and destruction is thought not to be a war. Wars have battles and when the battles are over – to the victor goes the spoils. There need not be battles of death and destruction for the victor to reap the rewards. A war is fought for an end result not the display of force and destruction. It is fought for the end result – that being the conquering of minds soles and property.
Yes America is at war – a war like none before. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow America is losing this frightful war. Laugh joke and sneer at this – that’s what empowers the enemy. He uses your ignorance and arrogance against you and will (may) surly have the last laugh in the end. Your intellect is failing you – America IS fighting battles in a war – of this you can be sure. If you don’t become enlightened you WILL suffer more and more.
912 people, Tea Party Goers, American Majority, Start Girl Politics, liberty groups, freedom groups the list go on and on – all of them whining but not one fighting the real war. The message to all these groups is; this war is not conventional war and can not be fought with conventional methods. Your protests, calls, letters and looking new candidates are obsolete weapons that can not win this war – not even one battle. Like it or not you know it deep down inside. There has never been a war of non-violence (bullet-less) so the weapons to fight the enemy must be invented – they don’t exist. Like it or not – in order to save America something beyond what has ever been tried must be what must be done.
This should be a call for thought and organization not one to dismiss and ignore. Are there any among us with the courage to speak of something more?
I am a selfless follower looking to be led by selfless leaders. Is there anything I can do?

Diplomacy and Afghanistan.
Dear Ron Paul,
“ The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.”
Political systems and politicians that follow this rule succeed. All others fail. The natural order of “friends” to this golden rule, in the United States, is as follows: city councils and mayors (closest), state legislators and governors, federal congressmen, US presidents, corporate executives, and (furthest) lobbyists.
Successful diplomacy addresses “the needs of the many” around the world. Diplomacy is international politics.
The “needs” of a people are different for every nation. The natural order of “friends” to “the needs of the many” is different in every nation. A diplomat must understand this natural order and deal with those closest to “the needs of the many”.
Let’s start with an extremely difficult and complex case for an example. Let’s start with Afghanistan. Afghanistan is not a single nation. It is two nations. Schizophrenia comes to mind.
The first Afghan nation is a pre-modern rural agrarian countryside. Its primary business is to provide good food and water to the population. There is little literacy. Clerics read religious works. Strongmen dominate the politics.
The second Afghan nation is the cities. City literacy is widespread. With this comes greater economic and political savvy. It is easier for Americans to identify with Afghan cities because of widespread literacy. Clerics read religious works. If strongmen are not dominating, corruption is endemic.
Do most Afghans live in the country or the city? Let’s assume a perfect 50/50 schizophrenia. The city fears the countryside. The countryside fears the city.
We are dealing with two nations, two government systems, and two foreign policies. America needs a divided diplomatic policy to match a divided nation.
A good friend sees a person as they really are. This friend accepts that person as-is. A good friend deals with that person in full knowledge of that person’s strong points and weaknesses. A good friend wishes no harm to that person.
As a friend to Afghanistan, first, let’s do no harm in Afghanistan. This is easy to say after years of war. It is, nonetheless, still the role of a good friend.
Is it right for us to meddle in the development of Afghanistan? Yes it is and yes we can,… try. “Meddling” must bring genuine undisputable good “to the many”. Afghans must define “undisputable”. Lacking this, diplomats must retreat, regroup, and rethink.
The center of diplomacy in rural Afghanistan might be good food, water, and literacy. What do Afghans think? If literacy (not a sure thing), it should be on their terms. If this means buying massive copies of the “Koran” (purchased from Afghans), then do it. If the needs “of the many” are indisputable to “the many”, no salesmanship is needed. Salesmanship is still vital because, as foreigners and strangers, intentions are always suspect. Failure is a failure of salesmanship, not the good, or the intention. This is the best possible course. If this becomes impossible, diplomats must retreat, regroup, and rethink.
The center of diplomacy in urban Afghanistan must be the undisputable good as defined by city Afghans. This might be jobs, hospitals, schools, and basic infrastructure. “Selling” these improvements is required in the city for the same reason as required in the countryside. City citizens are more empowered, sophisticated, and discerning. Failure is a failure of salesmanship, not good, or intention. This is the best possible course. If this becomes impossible, diplomats must retreat, regroup, and rethink.
Retreating and regrouping must be planned and orchestrated before it is needed. Retreat is certain and will happen, sometime. When it does, retreat must be predictable, non-threatening, and innocent to reassure the observing Afghans of intentions. It must be safe for the diplomat’s benefit. When a “retreat and regroup” becomes a joke among the Afghan population, the retreat strategy is working properly. George Washington was better at retreating than advancing. Proper retreat is an important strategy for success.
Resource allocation must be calculated by “head count” and distributed proportionally. The temptation is to spend most resources in the city. The rural countryside must not be neglected or under represented. This way, diplomatic policy does not take sides in the basic city/countryside schizophrenic framework of the nation.
In conclusion, this is “Santa Clause” diplomacy. It is simple and innocent. If it becomes more complex, it should be abandoned. If “Santa Clause” diplomacy does not work, there is no diplomacy on the planet that will work.
Keep it simple. The simple can cut through the complex. Any other tool is way too dull for the task.

Unfortunately, you can refer to the “crazy guy” comments made towards RP on the NAFTA -> NAU subject. RP is more than aware and has made strides to address this type of issue but it has been unsuccessful as the process is slow and involves so many administrations it seems unfathomable.
One thing you are missing is the FED is the key component to a world government. Without our financial systems interconnected and negotiated and worked out in private, a world government is impossible. A president operating openly to push a world government would never work, but when you get the IMF to institute a new world currency, and then you have the FED with new powers to stop recessions by intercepting any market that could affect the economy, what you have is the ability for the government to create its own problem and the FED to then require us to join the IMF world currency to stabalize our economy because our dollar trade rate will tank if the world economy is united against ours. The rules for joining that world currency will be the sacrifice of our soveriegnty similar to the European countries to the EU. In the end, that is when the world government forms. The EU is a great expose of what happens when you form a union, hell the US is an example when you look at the growth of the Fed power vs states over our 200 years.
Ultimately, if you get the people outraged at the FED enough early enough, which is why it is paramount to get HR1207 through in its current/original form, then you can yank back the power given to it by the legislation from Barney Frank and hopefully kill it for good.
I don’t know if it would really look like this, but by attaching HR1207 to the larger FED bill, if the FED doesn’t like the auditing of itself, wouldn’t that mean they would have to lawsuit the entire law? That would mean the FED would have to hold up in the court system (possibly for years) the ability for it to have ridiculous increases in power? If that is true, that they have to attack the entire law even if only to change RP’s portion of it, RP may be a bit more cunning than anyone ever could of imagined.

I guess you think double – triple and more tax is ok? I guess you think government is the rightful owner of all your efforts?
Does nothing belong to you or your heirs? Are all your efforts on behalf of the state?
If tax is based on net worth you would be paying tax on the same wealth over and over again. any money or assets you give to your children and others would be taxed over and over again.
It’s hard to imagine there are people that would agree with this taxing but, that’s why our country is in a state of insanity.

Al Bel,
No, not an Obama supporter at all. My friends and family would be on the floor laughing hysterically at the thought of me supporting Obama. I realized and stated my thought wasn’t a very conservative one and asked for people to keep an open mind. There was no need for you to start out with such vitrial. I am a Creature from Jekyll Island toting free market believer. If you haven’t read the book, I suggest you do so. It will shed some light on how absurd calling me an Obama supporter is. I want to eliminate the fed every bit as much as you or anyone on this site.
I’m just trying to question why income is viewed as the sacred way of taxing. While your method of conversation may be rude and overly attacking, your point is the one issue I am still having a hard time rationalizing away. I am against a death tax and want to be able to keep what I’ve worked so hard for. However, you must know that we already have a wealth tax in this country, it’s called inflation. Inflation is created by the government (i.e., the Fed) when it prints money and fools around with the banking reserves. If you forbid the Fed to print money and either significantly increased the bank reserves to a sane level or even 100% you would have an immeasurable amount to no inflation. You then pass a balanced budget and make the government live off what we allow it to collect. Then and only then would you have avoided a wealth or net worth tax. So if we did all this, but adopted a wealth tax we wouldn’t be too far off from where we are now. The tax rate would actually be lower than the target rate of inflation of 4%, probably closer to 2%. Then we’d be able to know what our tax bill is, instead of the mistery bill we get now with inflation.
As for motive of my questioning the basis of taxation is to realign behavior with reality or at least try. It is no secret to those on this blog that our current tax system is an atrificial headwind for those in the middle class trying to move up in society while protecting those that are already very wealthy. It is also no secret that many of the wealthy are part of the liberal/socialist elite and seek to be part of the sacred few driving the new world order. Consequently, I wanted a tax system that showed these people they need to help pay for their social programs too, instead of allowing them to rail for these things and just expect the rest of us to pick up the tab.
I can go on and on, but hopefully you get the picture by now. I hope you don’t talk to all your friends the way you flamed me. Remember we are a small group and need to work together in order to turn this country away from the cliff. Civility amongst friends can go a long way.
Happy Holidays

Eric,
Intellects use civility as a weapon. Your attempts to silence simple uncomplicated singular thought by counter attacking me (more insulting than I to you) with intellectual civility shows your true education is lacking. Simple words in simple phrases hide nothing – they reveal truthful thought. (they are as you might say – crude – but are effective and keep the subject clear for further debate). Friends can and should speak to each other in direct, blunt and passionate ways to create clear channels of meaningful debate without fear of hurting one another’s feelings. It is far beyond the time to stop the confusing civility that clouds issues and attempts to roll many issues into one. The fed, inflation and all the other issues that you now try to drag into the cover of the validity of your net worth tax idea is insincere intellectual – liberal demagoguery – and that, my friend, is exactly what we need less of here.
One singular thought is what to talk about here – your idea of a net worth tax. Your intellectual banter about the fed, inflation and other issues detracts, clouds and confuses that singular issue –a net worth tax.
Now-then; a net-worth tax hurts all. It would hold down the middle class most of all. If one year you have $1000 and pay a net worth tax of 10% on that $1000 you would have $900 net worth left. At the end of the second year you would again pay a tax on net worth – the $900 you acquired the year before (and all you acquired during the current year). Each year you would pay a recurring tax on the assets you were taxed on in prior year(s). Eventually there would be nothing left for you to pass on to your heirs – the ultimate death tax. The wealthy can hide and transfer net worth. The simple hard working American can’t AND doesn’t want to. Simple clear uncomplicated laws enable the common man. All other schemes perpetuate corruption. By worrying about taking from the rich only encourages jealously envy and greed and that is what is wrong – socialism in any form or any degree is wrong. One’s fair share is what is fair no matter how much he has or lacks. If it takes $1000 a year to run the government and there are 10 people within the governed domain the tax should be $100 per person – that’s what’s fair –that’s what will create all that we are working for.
I mean no harm or insult – I hope you understand.

Our country is so wide and diverse it seems there is no place to begin. How does one find true selfless leaders? Are there any willing to lead? Is it America’s destiny to rise and fall as all other have before? Is there anyone willing to admit our country is broken and can’t be fixed with patches of minor repair?
The light still shines, as dim as it may be. The time has come to shut of the light or make it shine bright as can be. Make no mistake – this too shall NOT pass. Darkness is near – America is stumbling and about to fall. Are there a few good men to catch and break her fall?
A Few Good Men – Is it possible? Could It be? Can a few good men lead our entire nation? Can a few good men change everything about America today? Can a few good men create real American freedom? Can a few good men return America to greatness? Yes they can! The masses will follow when Leaders Are Enabled to Lead Selflessly.
One man [is rarely able to] [can’t] do it all. Leadership is a team of leaders. Leadership consists of the qualities and traits of Guide, Pull, Push, and Thrust. Ben Franklin was the Guide. Tom Jefferson was the Pull. George Washington was the Push. The other 9 men were the Thrust.
There are many who think they are [want to be] great Americans. Some remain alone and some join so called liberty freedom or patriotic groups. They say they believe in our founding principals. They rant and rave about suppression and injustice but do little more than talk to fix our ills. Sure they “work within the system” and find achievement in compromising the correction of some faults (making bad less bad). When all along they know deep down inside they fear what it would take to really make things right [they remain plagued with self-interest]. Their vision is narrow and somewhat blurred by self interest – they know the total change required would cause their own selves inconvenience and sacrifice and find they are unwilling [unable] to endure to that degree. A good American you may be – a great American still evades Thee.

I may have been told this before:
Think Big – start small and grow; It is a wonderful dream and a possible goal. A tiny community could re-found a land of selflessness and freedom. A few good men with enough courage vision patience and focus can summon enough Guide, Pull, Push, and Thrust to overcome any and all forces of self-interest and weak leaders. The original founders gave us the road map – it proves this can succeed.

Jack you’re right – enough talk – but will YOU or anyone else have the courage to act? Reading these posts are frustrating – it’s full of thoughts void of deeds (me included).
I am not a radical or a crackpot. I just long to be free and to be amongst others with the same desire and courage to be set free. We live in a world where basic freedom is feared. People are weak and long to be taken care of rather than struggle to succeed. Is there hope? Is there a place? Is there a way?
NOTICE; Wanted selfless leadership and selfless leaders; A leader sells’ truth he is noble and right. His thoughts are pure lovely and free. You put up a bet against the insurance company that you’re going to get sick. They are betting that you won’t. However, when you do get sick, they can deny your coverage, and they will hire private investigators to find a reason if need be. Thus as in Vegas, the house always wins.
This system is obviously flawed, and common sense would tell you that adding a public option to the system will only result in a bigger failure. If insurance companies continue to dictate the cost of health care, then we’ll all die. A system that puts profits before the health of the nation is just wrong.
Some say that if we actually had a free market, instead of a market ruled by corporations, that health care costs would come down via competition. I don’t pretend to know weather this is true or not. What I do know is this; a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link and like wise; America is only as strong as it’s unhealthiest citizen. Shouldn’t it be our goal as a nation to ensure that everyone is taken care of. Of course the obvious argument against this is the cost. But, if we pulled back all of our troops and ended the American Empire, our country would have enough money to provide health care to everyone. Furthermore, if the FED was abolished financing health care wouldn’t even be a problem.
Under the current system doctors are encouraged to prescribe drugs and treatments that are not necessary, in order to make more money. Pharmaceutical companies hand out bonuses to doctors who sell more drugs. My mom volunteered at a small doctors office in rural Michigan, and she said that every single day, some pharmaceutical company rep would stop in to drop off samples and buy the whole office lunch. If this happens in rural Michigan, than it’s happening all over America.
Some say that this type of system wouldn’t encourage medical advancement, for profit is the incentive to create new cures, despite the amount of non-profit work that is done at a variety of Universities. To this I say; saving lives should be the incentive, not profit. Also, once all the harmful additives are taken out of the system, the general health of our nation will improve, health care won’t be so complicated or expensive, and finding cures will come much easier. Which leads me to the second simple fix.
These changes must begin with the FDA, which is a huge problem for Americans. They allow the corporations to genetically engineer livestock, the results of which is a larger population of cancer patients in America. They allow companies to use harmful pesticides and genetically altered seeds, which are quickly killing off large crops of natural seeds. They have allowed our food to become toxic, so that the corporations can make bigger profits.
For example, a genetically altered tomato was approved for commercial use, after several lab rats had developed stomach problems from eating it. How could this be, you ask. Because the FDA requires no independent studies of genetically altered seeds. The end result of this genetic pollution will be the death of us all. The seeds they design are incapable of producing offspring, meanwhile they are infecting neighboring crops; in some cases leading natural seeds to extinction.
The same genetic extinction is happening with cows, pigs, and chickens; who eat the genetically altered crops (in addition to the genetic damage being done by injecting them with all sorts of steroids), which alter their own DNA, which they pass on to us via milk, cheese, and meat. These abnormal genes (which as of yet are completely unstudied, though believed to cause serious health issues) then attach themselves to bacteria in our stomachs, forcing our bodies to replicate an anti-body with this genetic flaw, thus turning our own DNA and immune systems against us.
The most common genetic alteration corporations make is a pesticide gene. After creating Agent Orange, Round Up, and DDT; the company Monsanto is allowed by the FDA to alter the food we eat thus creating a pesticide gene within your own DNA, which will poison you. And worse of all, the FDA allows these companies to claim their deadly products are healthy. Knowing this about the FDA may shock you until you learn; the FDA also allows Americans to be injected with vaccines that contain mercury, detergents, and formaldehyde.
Much like the Wall Street thugs; who jump back and forth from CEO positions to executive appointments in the government, the members of the FDA jump back and forth between there and CEO positions at companies like Monsanto. It is important to know that a large number of these companies are also chemical companies; who create pesticides, chemical weapons, petroleum products, and the food we eat. Yummy.
Our nation should grow food locally, at community farms, where only range fed animals are kept. Furthermore, we must hold the FDA accountable for the recommendations it makes, and we must prosecute those who knowingly produced harmful products and sell them as healthy alternatives, without proper testing. Until we fix this, it’s pointless to even bother debating national health care. Because what’s the point of Health Care when most of what you eat is poison?

I have a fairly revolutionary new idea on how taxes should be levied. At first it sounds quite contrary to a conservative’s beliefs, but if you take the time to think it through I’m having a hard time finding fault with it. Maybe Ron and the rest of you can help. But please keep an open mind.
What if we transitioned from an income tax to a net worth tax? It’s no secret the elite enjoy the income tax as it makes it nearly impossible for significant upward mobility in our society while at the same time not attacking the wealth the elite have already amassed. First of all if you moved to a wealth tax everyone in Hollywood and the Warren Buffets of the world would suddenly become a bit more fiscally responsible and vote as such since they’d see more of their dollars going out the door. Would be interesting to see if they are really willing to pay “their fair share.”
Secondly, you would eliminate the progressive tax system we have today that causes frustration and inequality while at the same time not drastically altering who is paying the bill (i.e., half the country pays no tax just as they don’t today).
The liberals (not the rich ones) should go along with it as it applies taxation more in line with “those that have benefited the most from our society.”
It would encourage spending and hopefully expand our economy and create jobs. That makes everyone happy.
Just think it through. Why do taxes need to be based on income at all? If you really want to see who can afford to pay taxes I’d love to see what everyone’s current effective tax rate is today by dividing their tax bill by their net worth. I gaurantee (even with today’s graduated tax) I’m sure the middle class’s effective tax rate will be the highest. Do the math for yourself and then imagine what the wealthy socialist elite in Hollywood and Wall Street would need to pay to be comparable. The other countries in the world on a net worth tax system all look to charge less than 2%. I’m guessing those in the USA’s middle class are paying 10% to 50% of their net worth annually in taxes. I doubt Barbara Streisand and friends are paying that much of thier net worth in taxes annually.
Give it some thought. I’d love to hear what the major flaws are with moving to a system like this. Help me think it through.

This progressive agrees with you, however, I would add the O’Reillys, Cavutos, Hannitys, Jack Welch, Steve Forbes, Rush Limbaugh, Bortz, etc to your list as they don’t fall into the column “middleclass”. You could probably throw some sports figures into the mix. Oh yeah, Koch Brothers (Cargill) and the rest of the Corporate CEO’s and megamerga maniacs whose wealth is well hidden. All of the aforementioned are living high on the hog “after taxes” while crying about how much they have to pay. Obviously they don’t know how to manage on a billion.

Cut the bearocracy and the corruption from the budget. Present Americans with a simple and meaningfull budget plan. Then raise the capital any way you like and it will work. A Jerry Lewis style telephon can raise the capital without any taxes… if America embraced a smart financial investment and spending plan for our government. Do they snow us with tax and revenue schemes so we do not audit the spending and investing they do after they take our money? They treat us like children.

Our national leaders (from both parties) seem to be shortsighted opportunists, possessing little regard for their oaths to the US Constitution, the principles of decency, or even plain, old-fashioned common sense. Both major parties in Washington, D.C., offer the American people varying degrees of socialism. Neither party demonstrates even tacit devotion to constitutional government. Federalism and limited government have all but
disappeared under the oversight of both Republican and Democratic leaders. These disastrous Presidents (from Johnson, Nixon, and Carter to Clinton and Bush I & II) calmly leave office with no regret or remorse for the
devastation, death, and deception that they inflicted upon the country. They live in the lap of luxury and comfort without the slightest tinge of conscience as to the massive destruction done to our Constitution, not to mention our economy, security, and way of life. Beyond that, our congressmen and senators are mostly miscreants in the similitude of Nancy Pelosi and Lindsey Graham.
It’s hard to imagine there was a time when giants once lived among us. It’s hard to recall a day when the word “hero” really meant something. Today, everyone is called a hero. Well, as one Marine Corps veteran recently said, “If everyone is a hero, no one is a hero.” Amen!
Perhaps more than anything, America needs great leaders once again. Men who are not enamored with power and wealth. Men who are more concerned with honoring their word and preserving the Constitution than they are being reelected and receiving a government pension. Men who really do respect the people that elected them. Men who are willing to be unpopular, if that is the cost of honesty and integrity. Men who know the difference between the eternal and the temporal. And, yes, men who know the meaning of the word AMERICAN.
Is the day of great leaders past? With few exceptions, it would appear so. And that–more than anything else–is why we are in the mess we are in today.
So, while you are saying your prayers tonight, don’t forget to ask God to give us some men like Washington and Jefferson. We could sure use them about now.

I have enjoyed following Congressman Paul in the news. He is talking about things that are important and make sense.
It is my understanding that the Federal Reserve is a private bank owned by a handful of European corporations (most people don’t know this). We gave them the power to print and circulate our currency and then charge us and interest rate for it. Our government has no ownership in the Fed. Most of the $12 Trillion National Debt is owed to the Fed and we pay interest on this every year. Think about this ! Most are side-tracked thinking about Rebublicans and Democrats and we’re missing the biggest problem in the country!

Goldman programmer Sergey Aleynikov who developed the flash trading program for Goldman, then stole it and uploaded it to a European Server.
Prior to Goldman he was a Programmer for a company called IDT Corp. located near Goldman’s New Jersey Office tower. IDT is run by a man named Howard Jonas who grew up next door to and went to the same synagogue as Goldman’s CEO Lloyd Blankfein in the Bronx.
Another neighbor in the housing authority complex was Congressman Alan Grayson, the same Grayson supposedly trying to investigate the Fed…talking about a sympathetic prosecutor??
Grayson and Jonas and Blankfein all went off to Harvard together. They stayed friends and Grayson and Jonas would later found a company IDT Corp with Blankfein’s help and funding. It is quite unclear what IDT actually does (they claim they sell phone cards). But one thing is for sure, they brought Sergey Aleynikov over from Russia and allowed him free rein of the programming department at IDT Corp.
And what came out of Sergey Aleynikov work was a high speed computer system called ‘flash trading’ which the top Hedgefunds began using under his consultation. His flash trading system earned Citadel Capital hundreds of millions and Goldman Billions
Sergey Aleynikov is still in jail, but Jonas is making millions at IDT and Congressman Grayson is out pretending to audit the Fed (he is actually deflecting important information away from Ron Paul so that Paul’s efforts fail)

You can all blog all you want about what you want, but if this sinking ship gets salvaged and put back on coarse, it is going to require facts and people with enough courage and resources to pick up the ball and run with it. Many have died in wars fighting for or to maintain this country’s freedom and its not over yet.
Rudy Allan, if what you have related is correct, then you have some facts.
Now, I hope Ron Paul is paying attention to this blog or some people like him who can take that information and do some damage to our enemies with it and help save this country.
For those of you who don’t really believe the Bank of England, (the Rothschilds), control our Federal Reserve and has been orchestrating the bankrupting and gutting of American, believe it. We believe it is real. We have been studying and watching this develop for over 30 years, so that is not a knee jerk statement. Don’t forget Lincoln and JFK. President Lincoln outlawed the Central Bank in the colonies and JFK was going to outlaw the Fed. They both were assassinated. They attempted to kill President Andrew Jackson and failed and he prided himself in having killed the “Bank” and set back the banksters around 70 years in their plans to put this country on its knees before them, but he didn’t kill fractional banking and that was a mistake.
We may have won the revolutionary war, but once England, the Bank of England, through there 5 major banks got control of our money system, they, thereby, got it all back and established themselves as the blood sucking vampires they are upon the U.S. of A.
Bottom line, there is too much corruption among the American people. Too many people willing to be involved in crooked dealings, too many people who will cheat and betray their neighbors, their fellow citizens, and then there are those who came here with the pre-meditation of undermining and destroying this country, such as the Arabs who live among us who want to take over this country from the inside out and declare this country to no longer be Christian, but Muslim.
This country was founded as a Christian country and thousands of years of history around this world has shown that when you turn your back on the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that God will turn His back on you and give you over to your enemies. It has happened may times before and it is happening again right now.
If you want this country to survive, you must turn back to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the one who sent Jesus to buy us back(redeem us) from this corrupt world, the same God that our founding fathers believed in.
The condition this country is in right now is pathetic. We have the most dishonorable lot of people having infiltrated our government and are devouring the wealth of this country like ravenous wolves and hardly anyone is really doing anything about it, not really. Too much of it is pretense by our enemies to thereby give us false hope that the problems are being taken care of when they are not. We need a real uprising of the American people to investigate, prosecute, extradite these crooks from whatever country they have run to hide in and jail them for life.
A serious pursuit of their prosecution will put a serious fear in the hearts of whomever is helping our enemies despoil this country.
Enough for now.
May God Bless all who deserve it and curse those who don’t. — Nemo

AMEN to Matthew and Nemo for their comments reminding us of our Judeo-Christian heritage! If we get back to that we’ll be fine! God promises that in his word! 2Chronicles 7:14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land”.

Hello everyone. I respect Mr Paul for exposing the federal reserve but let’s hang on a second.. Ron, you know just as well as all of us that the federal reserve is the least of our problems. Putting everyone’s attention on the federal reserve isn’t going to achieve much considering a one world government is in now in place ready to go, what makes everyone think they need the federal reserve anymore? A whole new system is already being set up. Everyone needs to be aware of the federal reserve, yes! But everyone needs to be focusing their attention to the underlying problems. I love the book “end the fed” but come on, how about end the bankers, end the Rothshchilds, end the Rockefellers, end the assholes controlling the UN. The good that has been coming out of this website is the fact people are talking about mainly underlying problems now, everyone is becoming aware that the federal reserve is just a symptom not the cause and our attention needs to be looking way past the Fed. If anyone thinks global warming and the greenhouse effect is true, well you need to argue with that with NASA and virtually every climate change expert in the world, this is proven to be a 100% hoax. Period! Without a doubt! 100% fact!! I strongly urge everyone to watch this full youtube video, about an 1.5 hours long. Pass this video link to every person you possibly can. Everything this guy says is 100% fact! No bullshit, no politics. Just facts.

I agree! I emailed Ron Paul to ask him what can be done to stop the president from signing the Climate Change Treaty in Copenhagen. It’s on Obama’s agenda very soon, in weeks, posed to sign away American’s sovereignty to the U.N.
Email Ron Paul Directly…

The Equation Of Evil
Evil = Ambition – Ability
http://www.postscience.com
Post-science believes that the earth is created as a paradise, but human and material behaviors are regulated by non-violable laws of nature in physical and social sciences. Pain and suffering, and happiness and pleasure, are created to help us understand these laws of nature. For example, it had taken two world wars, namely, WWI and WWII, to teach us laws of nature in science. Similarly, it might take two global financial Great Depressions to teach us laws of nature in social science.
The first Great Depression occurred around 1930s, and from that experience, Milton Friedman suggested the Quantity Theory of Money, such that Price x Quantity = Velocity of Circulation Of Money x Money Supply (PQ=VM), can be used to avoid future Great Depressions. The second financial Great Depression could either be going on right now in 2009 or will come later. In any case, the current financial crisis seems to have the financial authorities believing in the Quantity Theory Of Money, which, at least, have rescued us from the initial stage of potentially another Great Depression, through the faithful execution of the suggestion of Milton Friedman by the Chairman of Federal Reserve Board, Ben Bernanke.
Good and evil take a lower priority than non-violable laws of nature in social science. In any action, laws of nature must be obeyed. We will be punished through pain and suffering, when we are ignorant of the laws of nature. Punishment is how nature teaches us laws of nature. Thus, ethics, which, Benedict Spinoza proposed, should depend on punishment, not any timely notion of good and evil, should be defined by the non-violable laws of nature rather than by good and evil.
However, the Equation Of Evil is practical. Basically, it says that one uses evil to achieve one’s overly ambitious goals when one lacks the ability. Evil exists as a survival mechanism for low-ability creatures to compete against high-ability creatures for survival. It is a survival mechanism, a minimal ambition, for the weak to compete against the strong; it compensates the lack of ability.
If we consider good as the opposite of evil, the equation for good is Good = Ability – Ambition. People with high ability and low ambition generally “have to” spend their time doing good. Throughout history there are people with high ability being defeated by evil people of low ability. Historically greatest ambitions for good were achieved with great ability, often accompanied by some “necessary” evil.
The Equation is useful for judging people. It helps explain the prevalent evil in politics and business, which are characterized by unquenchable ambition for power and money. In particular, it helps to explain religion, which exists mainly to promote good and to eradicate evil. The greatest sin for Buddhism, the earliest of the main traditional religions, is ambition.
Post-science believes that there should be a proper balance for good and evil. When evil becomes excessive, religions are invented to promote good. Idealistic practices of good in socialism or communism, which equalizes ambition, are the main causes of their downfall; they require too much good or ability for support.
The Equation of Evil can be expanded for practical application in terms of the major elements of each of its terms:
Evil (greed, cheating, etc.) = Ambition (ego, desire, happiness, etc.) – Ability (knowledge, health, suffering, wealth, etc.)
where the study of the internal structure of the terms will certainly be controversial, but useful. The Equation is proposed purely for its relevance.

Obama is upsetting.
Prior to being elected Obama said he would bring home the troops. As we all know, this was a lie; Obama has committed more troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, plus his new war in Pakistan and his threats to Iran. What started as a 16 month plan for withdrawal, has become no plan to withdrawal at all. As the brother of a Iraq War Veteran, I find this very upsetting.
Obama also said he was going to get America out of NAFTA and GAT. These trade agreements purposes are literally to take jobs away from American workers. Getting out of these agreements was also a lie, as CTV news reported: Canadian Officials had been told by Obama’s staff that this was “just campaign rhetoric.” As the son of two unemployed factory workers; I find this very upsetting.
Obama and his Wall Street handler’s said that the TARP bailout would save countless Americans from bankruptcy and foreclosure. The day after the bill was passed, it was announced that the banks were just going to keep the money. As an American who can’t afford a home, I find this very upsetting.
There were the lies about the public option health care bill, which is starting to look more like the Insurance Companies option. As an American without the means to afford health care, I find this very upsetting.
He promised to do away with the Patriot Act, then he rewrote it and expanded it’s powers. As an American who believes in freedom, I find this very upsetting.
He promised tax cuts for small businesses, remember how popular “Joe the Plumber” was during the campaign; and now he’s raised taxes and agreed to talks on the new carbon tax. He promised a $3,000 tax credit to small business for each new hire, to fix the unemployment problem. This never happened. As an over-taxed American, I find this very upsetting.
He promised to cut government spending, now he’s on a government spending spree. He promised not to appoint lobbyists to his administration; which was clearly a lie. He promised to cut NASA funding, which would be used to make satellite weapons and other spaces gadgets. However, the most recent White House budget shows an increase in NASA funding. These things are very upsetting considering how little money our country has.
He said he would give the American people five days to look over any bill before he signed it into law. He broke this promise with the first bill he signed. This should upset us all.
He said he would close Guantanamo Bay, but he didn’t and he won’t. This continues to fuel the Anti-American sentiment throughout the globe, which is very upsetting.
He promised that the DEA wouldn’t be wasting it’s efforts busting medical marijuana users, yet medical dispensaries in California have been shut down since he’s become president. As a medical marijuana patient, this is very upsetting.
In a speech to military personnel, Obama claimed he had an uncle who served in World War II, who helped liberate the Auschwitz Concentration Camp; but history tells us that the Russian’s liberated Auschwitz, not the American’s. Having a grandfather who served in the Pacific Theater of World War II, I also find this lie upsetting.
Normally, most of us would turn our backs on some one who lied to us 3 times (3 strikes and you’re out), but for some reason we continue to let Obama get away with it.
In addition to his attempt to change the written history of World War II, Obama has made it clear that he’s all talk. He is going to continue to tell the American people what they want to hear, while doing everything he can to sell us down the river. Supporting this man and his policies as a president is unlawful according to our constitution, and we as American’s are obligated to demand his impeachment.

Can you tell me how to go about fighting the presidential signing of this treaty?
We are not being listened to, as if we have a new government, but we didn’t get the memo.
