Vince Vaughn Introduces Ron Paul at LPAC 2011

Vince Vaughn introduced Ron Paul at the Liberty Political Action Conference (LPAC) on Friday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time in Reno, Nevada.

“Ron and Vince are friends, with Vince not merely interested in Dr. Paul’s philosophy but he also graciously invited Dr. and Mrs. Paul to the premier of his film ‘Couples Retreat,'” said Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton, referring to the October 6, 2009 film premier in California.

Mr. Vaughn, for his part, endorsed Dr. Paul’s 2009 book End the Fed with the following enthusiastic quote: “Everyone must read this book – Congressmen and college students, Democrats and Republicans – all Americans.”

End the Fed was published in hardcover on September 16, 2009, exactly two years ago today, and debuted at number six on The New York Times Best Seller list.

  • last word is understanding

  • People on the left like ben do not understand that truth gives you wisdom , eyes to see and ears to hear. with truth on the inside god gives you understand.

I dislike and hold a contempt for Ben as well. But lets not make this a religious versus the intellectual crowd and demean the message of libertarian-ism. No religious or spiritual group owns this political idea, its an idea for anyone who believes in freedom. Let’s face it, the libertarian social views are often more in alignment with the left then the right and the fiscal views more with the right. Religion/spiritualism has no role whatsoever within the political ideals of being a libertarian. And I fear the tea parties religious component has only moved to alienate many voters fro the Great Doctor Paul’s message by distorting his message. Lets not let him down and alienate those who may believe in freedom but not a god. By the way I thumbed up your message for the slant on Ben, but to help Paul can we try to leave god out of it?
